The Utah Jazz JUST SHOCKED EVERYONE
The Utah Jazz JUST SHOCKED EVERYONE

THE UTAH JAZZ HAVE TAKEN THE NBA BY STORM! When the Utah Jazz beat the Denver Nuggets 123-102 on opening night, many were surprised. Nobody expected the Jazz to be competitive this year, and for good reason. They sent their franchise center and three-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves and sent three-time All-Star Donovan Mitchell to the Cleveland Cavaliers shortly after. Clearly, it was a sign that the Jazz were in rebuilding mode. They were even pegged as the top 4 teams in the Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes, as they were expected to do everything they could to objectively lose lots of games for a chance at drafting perhaps the greatest prospect the league has seen since LeBron James. Unfortunately, they didn’t get the memo. As we speak, the Jazz have a winning record, and at the time of this video, good for 2nd most in the league, just below the undefeated Milwaukee Bucks and tied with the Phoenix Suns and the Cleveland Cavaliers. 5 of those wins have been against playoff teams from last year, with two coming against the Western Conference finalists Memphis Grizzlies. The question is, how are they doing this. More importantly, is this sustainable? Let’s find out. If you enjoy meaningful NBA content such as this one, I highly suggest that you hit the like and subscribe buttons so you won’t miss out on videos like these. With that out of the way, on to the Jazz and their hot start. Currently, the Jazz are projected to finish with a 44-38 record and a 68% chance of making the playoffs, according to FiveThirtyEight, which is a far cry from ESPN’s preseason prediction of a 12th place finish for them and an average of 36.5 wins. 44-38 would put the Jazz as the 7th seed in the West, which would be in the play-in games. Vegas actually placed the over/under for wins at 24.5 for Utah, and if they keep up their level of play, they are on pace to shatter that. So just how are the Jazz doing it? There are three main reasons. Another reason is the unlikely evolution of Jordan Clarkson. After landing in Utah via a mid-season trade with the Cavs in the 2019-2020 season, it became apparent that Clarkson would immediately impact the league’s most struggling bench – for better or worse. On the positive side of things, Clarkson is instant offense, quickly making his impact felt as the key reserve for the Jazz, scoring 15.6 points in the year he was acquired. Clarkson didn’t stop there as he became the first Jazz player in history to win the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award for the 2020-2021 season. That season, Clarkson led all NBA reserves in scoring with 18.3 points per game (a career-high) off the bench, to go along with 4 rebounds and 2.4 assists, becoming the first player since Manu Ginobili in 2007-08 to average over 18 points, four boards and two assists as a reserve (minimum 50 games played). But, he also was seen as a ballhog, with fans often complaining that Clarkson didn’t pass much. Those complaints were warranted, as Clarkson ranked 8th league-wide among players with 1000+ minutes in the ratio of received to made passes in two seasons from 2020-2022. Lastly, it seems like everyone has brought in to the system, and that’s thanks to the Jazz’ new Head Coach in Will Hardy, who they hired after spending time as an assistant coach. This team is very different that we’ve seen in the past era of Utah Jazz basketball. They play fast, share the ball, play tough defense and thrive in clutch situations. They look like they enjoy playing together, and having fun. Each possession, there’s no wasted movement; each pass, screen, handoff, or cut has meaning. Just no waste. And the same goes for the defense. The Jazz are rotating, filling lanes, and helping all on a string. They’re not the best defensive team in the league, but they certainly make things hard on opposing offenses. The Jazz offense has cooled off some and sits at #15 in the league in efficiency. What’s impressive is the defense that has settled into the top 10 at #7. These things are starting to look sustainable. Before their game against the Jazz, Dallas Mavericks Head Coach Jason Kidd said that, “The talk of tanking or playing for Victor [Wembanyama] is all camouflage. They’ve got a group over there who can play.” While detractors may consider this approach foolish, it is important for the league that the competitiveness that the Jazz brings still exists, even for teams that aren’t expected to make any noise come playoff time. Furthermore, Wembanyama might be the greatest draft prospect to ever land in the NBA, but mysterious things happen in the NBA all the time. He may not even pan out. There are going to be several championship-impact dudes coming into the NBA next year. Utah doesn’t need the first pick to get one, nor is Wembanyama actually guaranteed to be such a player. If the Jazz can compete, they should. Culture is also an important building block at building a contender. #utahjazz #nba

The Golden State Warriors SECRET Weapon to Win it All Again Next Season
The Golden State Warriors SECRET Weapon to Win it All Again Next Season

Jordan Poole was a key member of the Golden State Warriors 2021-22 championship team. He showed that he is a capable shot creator during the season as well, at times being the No. 2 scoring option behind Stephen Curry. He will be a free agent at the end of the 2022-23 season and there is no doubt that the Golden State Warriors likely want to keep him but could face huge luxury tax penalties if they do so. Obviously, if Jordan Poole wants to move somewhere for a bigger role, then the Warriors will likely try to negotiate a sign and trade, as he will be a restricted free agent. Hopefully, though, we see them keep the shooting guard, as Poole is a key piece for their future. Today’s video will be about the Golden State Warriors' secret weapon to win it all again next season. Jordan Poole bet on himself when he left Michigan after two seasons. Now it might be time for the 23-year-old to take a gamble on himself again. A season after spending time in Santa Cruz, home of the Warriors’ G League affiliate, to sharpen every aspect of the game, Poole became one of the league’s biggest breakout stars during the 2021-22 campaign with his flashy scoring and long-range shooting capabilities. The crafty scorer went on a tear in the final six weeks of the regular season, averaging 24.7 points, 5.4 assists and 4.1 rebounds in 21 games that included 16 starts in place of an injured Stephen Curry. During that span, the best of his three-year career, he shot 47.3% overall, 41.9% from deep and 92.5% from the foul line, which he got to an average of more than four times each game. The Warriors enjoyed some impressive playoff performances from Poole, who recorded double-digit scoring mainly off the bench in 19 of 22 games. Let’s see what the future holds for him and what we can expect. Before we begin today, make sure to like the video and subscribe to our channel for more interesting NBA content. Let’s keep rolling. The 6’4 guard Poole is entering his fourth NBA season and will attempt to build off his breakout 2021-22 campaign. Last season, Poole set a career high in points (18.5), assists (4.0) and rebounds (3.4) per game, playing a vital role in Golden State's 2022 NBA title run. Additionally, Poole made strides from beyond the arc, averaging 7.6 3-point attempts while possessing a 36 percent 3-point shooting percentage. Both were career highs and led many to call the 23-year-old "Kid Splash." Despite the improvements made by Poole, Warriors coach Steve Kerr stated that the guard can refine his game on the defensive side to become an all-around player for Golden State. The Warriors' 2021-22 season became the Year of the Poole Party with Jordan Poole's breakout campaign in San Francisco. After shooting 27.9 percent from 3-point range as a rookie and then playing 11 games in the G League in Year 2, Poole blew up the word "bust." That was the label placed upon him after the Warriors took him with the No. 28 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft -- a slot many thought was a reach -- and he didn't look like a true contributor for much of his first two seasons. But there were hints in his second season. When he returned from the G League's Orlando bubble, Poole averaged 18.5 points and shot 39.2 percent from three for the Warriors over 11 games in March. Steve Kerr warned us all offseason that Poole's residence in the gym was about to pay off. He was right. This past season, Poole proved to be more than a contributing piece. He looked the part of a star at times, someone who can open new chapters to the Warriors' dynasty. So, what's next? Let's take a look. For the crowd that needs more proof, Poole averaged 26.0 points, 5.9 assists and 4.8 rebounds in the 13 games that Steph Curry missed at the end of the regular season. Scoring at least 20 points seven times in the playoffs with a 65.4 true shooting percentage doesn't hurt, too. From Year 1 to Year 2, Poole increased his 3-point percentage by 7.2 percent and then by 1.3 percent from his second season to his third. He shot 36.4 percent from there last season, but over 38 percent when Curry was injured and 39.1 percent in the playoffs. His breakout season should have resulted in a Most Improved Player award. Now, Sixth Man of the Year should be in sight. Jordan Poole could become the first Sixth Man winner the Golden State Warriors have ever had. But what would it take to get the job done? The Dubs have always had a strong bench but they’ve never had anyone take home the Sixth Man award. Andre Iguodala came closer than anyone. And what do you guys think? Will Jordan Poole excel even more this season? Can the Warriors keep him and win the championship yet again? I would love to hear you opinion so please let me know in the comments. Andrew Wiggins PROVED EVERYONE Wrong with the Golden State Warriors
Andrew Wiggins PROVED EVERYONE Wrong with the Golden State Warriors

The 2014 NBA draft was one of the hyped and anticipated draft classes in recent memory. Some of them ended up becoming absolute superstars in the game such as Zach LaVine, Joel Embiid, and 2x MVP Nikola Jokić, but above all these players was a 19-year-old Canadian, named Andrew Wiggins. People were saying that he was the best athlete in the draft since LeBron with an insane 44-inch vertical, and he seemed to have almost every tool to be an absolute star in the NBA, but as time passed, he did not perform well and his team was constantly losing. People gave up all their expectations of him due to his performance. He improved himself after he was traded away by the Minnesota Timberwolves and received his first all-star game selection. He is currently a key contributor to an NBA championship-winning team, the Golden State Warriors. Today’s video will be about Andrew Wiggins and how he proved his doubters wrong. Before we go any further, make sure to like the video and subscribe to our channel for more exciting NBA content. Let’s keep rolling. Everyone saw Andrew Wiggins as more impactful for Golden State in a single season last year, as compared to all the six seasons that he spent with Minnesota. Wiggins has never been a bad player. He has been very athletic if you consider how he played over the years. The best season he had in Minnesota was during the 2016-17 season, where he averaged 23 points, 4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. The NBA world took him as the next great player. When he got into the league, fans expected him to consistently perform well on a regular basis, but he could not really get that done in Minnesota, which has been notoriously bad in developing young talent and using them in the right way. He came into the league at the age of 19 and played under 3 different head coaches in six seasons which also affected his play style over the years. When he was traded to the Golden State Warriors, he showed his presence on the floor and proved his abilities. He seemed like the missing key element for the Warriors in winning a championship. His performance with Golden State was bound to happen, due to the fact that Golden State had a championship-winning culture at that time, and they had just won their third finals in five years when they got him. Golden State has developed players better than every other franchise in the last decade or so. When they draft a young player, they certainly know how to use them on the floor. A young guy with a championship team such as Golden State does not have to worry about putting up great numbers or being in the spotlight. So, Wiggins came out this year and averaged 17.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists last season. He did not have the best season as far as numbers are concerned, but if you actually watched him play last season, you could easily see that he was playing like never before. Moreover, the negative aspect of his game that was his inconsistency was no longer a problem. In fact, he earned the label Mr. Consistent. Considering the three-point percentage, last season was the most consistent and efficient season for him. He has attempted almost as many threes with the Warriors in a single season, as he did when he was with the Timberwolves for six years. He averaged 3.5 three-point attempts with an accuracy of 33% in six years. On the contrary, he averaged 5.3 three-point attempts in a single season with the Warriors with an accuracy of 38%. If we talk about his stats in the 2022 NBA finals, he averaged 18.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. He may not have been the superstar player that everybody thought he would be, once he got drafted first overall, but he has been a superstar in his role, which is quite fine for a player of such caliber. His high level of effort on the defensive end makes him invaluable to the Golden State Warriors. He is reliable on both ends and that is what makes him so special. He did not perform well and was not certainly the player to rely on when he came out of college, but no one can deny his abilities and how impactful he was as a player during the entire season. Considering his performances this past season, he will be the go-to guy for the warriors on defense as well as scoring, along with rising star Jordan Poole. He knows his role and plays it to near perfection. The impact he has had on the Golden State Warriors last season is completely undeniable. And what do you guys think? Will Andrew Wiggins help the Warriors to reach and possibly win another NBA finals next season? Will he rise up to his potential? I would love to hear your opinion, so please let me know what you think in the comments. Thanks for watching, and don’t forget to like and subscribe to our channel for more amazing NBA content! They NEVER Should've Let the Golden State Warriors Sign THESE Players
They NEVER Should've Let the Golden State Warriors Sign THESE Players

It has been a busy and tumultuous offseason for the Golden State Warriors who have replaced half their team. After unloading valuable assets from their amazing championship run such as Gary Payton II and Otto Porter Jr, they went on a scavenger hunt for free agents around the league. They seem to have found what they were looking for as they signed a bunch of players. Let’s see who exactly they got and who their roster stacks up for next season. Today’s video will be about the free agent steals the Golden State Warriors picked up for the 2022-23 season. Along with their new jerseys, the Golden State Warriors will bring back a roster that has two new additions to the immediate rotation. Adding Donte DiVincenzo to replace Gary Payton II, and JaMychal Green to replace Otto Porter Jr., the Warriors have been busy all summer. The 2022 NBA Champions have also signed guards Mac McClung , Pat Spencer, Ryan Rollins and forward Trevion Williams, along with Gui Santos from Brazil. Some of them aren’t familiar with the NBA fans so let’s see what they are all about. Pat Spencer spent the 2021-22 season with the G League’s Capital City Go-Go, averaging 7.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 14.5 minutes over 15 games. The Warriors signed guard Ryan Rollins to a three-year deal, per a report from Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium. The Warriors likely won’t need Rollins to contribute on a daily basis, but he does give the reigning champs depth at the guard position, behind Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole, Donte DiVincenzo, and Moses Moody. Second-round picks have largely performed very well for the Warriors in recent years; particularly Draymond Green and Eric Paschall. Though many insiders saw Santos as a likely draft-and-stash candidate for the Warriors in the upcoming season, he challenged some of those expectations with a strong showing during the team’s Summer League season. Santos ended up averaging 8.0 points and 3.5 rebounds in 19.8 minutes per game. “One popular name is Gui Santos, Golden State’s late-second-round pick who showed some promise at summer league,” Letourneau wrote on July 21. “But I think the Warriors would prefer someone more NBA-ready on their two-way contract. If they have it their way, Santos will spend next season with the G League’s Santa Cruz Warriors while the big club retains his draft rights.” Since being drafted by the Bucks in 2018, competing for title contenders is pretty much all DiVincenzo knows. In 2021, DiVincenzo started in the first three games of Milwaukee's championship run before missing the final 20 games with an ankle injury. He wasn't on the floor for the title-clincher, but DiVincenzo knows what it's like to contribute and play when the stakes are high. It's certainly not a one-for-one replacement for Payton, who developed a reputation as a disruptive (and sometimes lockdown) defender, but the 6’4 DiVincenzo is a few years younger, has a bit more size and, despite his injury history, boasts plenty of athleticism. With Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson in the fold, Golden State's starting backcourt is set, but the "Splash Brothers" aren't as young as they once were. DiVincenzo is a career 34.7 percent 3-point shooter that shot 36.8 percent from deep over 25 games with the Kings last year and can play off the ball, potentially in three-guard lineups. The biggest part of this signing? This is a prove-it deal for DiVincenzo, who will have a player option following this season. At 32, Jamychal Green brings the ability to defend multiple positions and, as a career 36.6 percent 3-point shooter, the ability to knock down open jumpers. Admittedly, Green's shooting has been off since the 2021 NBA Playoffs. Green, like all Nuggets players, benefited from the playmaking of Nikola Jokic during his time in Denver, but after injuries to Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. In Golden State, Jamychal Green will almost be an afterthought on the perimeter with Curry, Thompson and Jordan Poole drawing attention. Warriors have definitely signed some under the radar players to their liking who might explode off the bench this upcoming season, especially McClung, while also bringing along proven commodities in DiVincenzo and Green. And what is your opinion? Do you think all these new signing could prove to be great for the Warriors? Which player could fit in best and become this year’s Jordan Poole? I would love to hear what you think so please let me know what you think in the comments. Oh, and don’t forget to like the video and subscribe to our channel for more interesting NBA content. The Golden State Warriors Make SURPRISING Signing - LACROSSE Player Pat Spencer
The Golden State Warriors Make SURPRISING Signing - LACROSSE Player Pat Spencer

Keith Smith of Spotrac reported that The Golden State Warriors have signed free agent guard, Pat Spencer to an Exhibit 10 contract. Spencer is renowned for being an NCAA lacrosse star during his stay at Loyola University. He was a 3-time finalist for the Tewaaraton Award before winning the trophy in his senior year. This award honors the top collegiate lacrosse player like the Heisman Trophy in football or the Wooden Award in basketball. He is twenty-six years old and finished his college career at Northwestern in 2019/20. Last season, he joined the Capital City Go-Go, which is the Wizards’ G-league affiliate. Spencer even played part of a season for the Hamburg Towers in Germany before joining the Go-Go. He was seen on the floor in 15 regular season games along with nine showcase cup contests for the Go-Go, playing a limited role off the bench. Recently, Spencer played for Washington’s Summer League team in Las Vegas averaging 6.5 points per game and 3.8 Rebounds in four games. While Spencer will occupy a spot on the 20-man offseason roster of The Golden State Warriors, it will be tough for him to make the regular season squad. He will most probably be waived off before the start of the regular season, and join the G-league team of Golden State, and Santa Cruz Warriors as an affiliate player. In case he joins the G-league team, he will get a $50,000 bonus after spending at least 60 days with Santa Cruz. Exhibit 10 contracts can also be converted into two-way deals before the regular season begins but in this scenario, both of the Warriors’ two-way slots are currently filled.Today’s video will be about Pat Spencer and why he was a great signing for the Warriors. Before we go any further, make sure to like the video and subscribe to our channel for more exciting NBA content.Let’s keep rolling.Pat Spencer’s deal is only supposed to last through the summer which is similar to the deals of Trevion Williams and Mac McClung. This will give the first dibs of these players to the warriors if they play to their perceived potential. Pat has a lot of experience as a lacrosse player and his skills and vision will help him in his basketball career. Lacrosse is a very demanding sport which makes Spencer every bit of an athlete as anyone else on the floor. The following year Spencer played for the Washington Wizards’ G-league team, averaging 7.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in just 14 minutes. His free throw percentage was solid at 81 percent, whereas his three-point percentage spiked to 45 for this season as compared to 23 in the previous season. Apart from three-point shooting and points-per game, every other box score metric scaled almost perfectly from his year at Northwestern. But there is a catch; his playtime was reduced which shows his consistency in the shooting. The Wizards decided to have Spencer play in the Summer League in Vegas. He averaged 13 minutes in four games and outperformed every team’s defense. He averaged 6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4 assists during those 13 minutes and rarely lost the ball to the opponent team. He did lose it once during the games while averaging 1.3 steals. The only disappointment is that he shot one for five from distance. Moreover, he kept his fouls low and only fouled once in four games combined. Spencer is pleased with his progress as a professional basketball player so far. On January 21st, he said on Glenn Clark Radio:The ultimate goal of Pat Spencer is to contribute to the NBA and he understands what kind of player he needs to be to become an NBA All-Star.Spencer also stated:At the end of the Summer League, The Golden State Warriors noticed his abilities and signed Pat Spencer for the rest of the summer. Spencer and McClung are in an interesting position. The signings such as Ryan Rollins, Trevion Williams, and Pat Spencer suggest that Golden State is looking out for its future. Sending such players to Santa Cruz will put the Warriors in a better position because eventually Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green will start transitioning into roles. When this happens, the second unit of Golden State which includes Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody, and Jordan Poole could play the majority of the game. And what do you guys think? What are his possibilities to join the Golden States’ roster? Will he prove himself as a better guard than the current players of Golden State? I would love to hear your opinion, so please let me know what you think in the comments. Thanks for watching, and do not forget to like and subscribe to our channel for more amazing NBA content!
