Ghana had hoped to get a decent result in the game as coach Akonnor needed a build up on his AFCON qualification story line, but a 70th minute goalkeeping error from Razak abalora  gifted the Atlas Lions the win

Coach Samuel Boadu has joined Ghana Premier League powerhouse, Hearts of Oak as the club’s new head coach on a three-year deal, officials have confirmed. Samuel Boadu has left his post as the head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, the club has confirmed. The club confirmed Boadu's resignation hours after their win over Techiman Eleven Wonders.
