The Four Horsemen Of The Toon. Join myself, Peter, John and our guest for the evening Martin from LoadedMagHQ as we discuss all things Newcastle United. The main topic of conversation will of course be the match between Aston Villa and Newcastle United at the weekend and a look forward to the League Cup game at home to Burnley on Wednesday. The transfer window is also nearly closed so will we be making anymore signings before the window slams shut at the end of the month. Burton 0 Newcastle United 2 | Bruce New Contract? Friday night saw Newcastle United travel down to Burton Albion in their penultimate friendly of the new season. Once again they were backed by nearly 2,000 travelling geordies. In my opinion we are nowhere near ready for this new season, still playing a really slow build up, fitness levels aren't where they need to be and no new players through the door yet!! In this video I talk about the game as well as the confusing regarding Steve bruce and his contract. Has it been extended? Is he negotiating a new deal? Rotherham 1 Newcastle 1 Oh My God!! Another pre-season friendly passes us by and yet another shit show!! The team just didn't turn up in the first half and we had to rely on our make shift striker Jeff Hendrick to get something out of the game. What is going in at our club right now is disgraceful and embarrassing!! The quotes that Steve Bruce comes out with after each match are now doing nothing but getting the Newcastle United fans more angry than they already are. He is now worried about injuries before the season has even started and claims he is "bashing away" when it comes to trying to sign someone. I didn't expect to have a rant before the Premier League season has even kicked off but the whole situation at our club has got me to breaking point!! England v Czech Republic Euro 2020 Match Preview. After a shocking performance against Scotland, England return to Wembley owing the fans a performance and secure their place in the last 16 of Euro 2020. It was clear to everyone that the game against Scotland was terrible and after being booed off the field we really want to see England with the shackles off and actually go and try and score a few goals with a decent performance. Gareth Southgate has some serious decisions to make ahead of the game with regards to the starting 11. We know Harry Kane will start the game despite being way off the pace so far during the tournament however, who will play around him and will he be told to stay forward instead of coming deep all the time. Newcastle United 1 Sheffield United 0 Premier League Match Review. The final Premier League game of the season at St. James' Park saw the visit of relegated Sheffield United. It was a very strange game with Newcastle United playing some great football at times but looking very lethargic other times. Once again the biggest talking point of the game is the fitness of the players, it's simply shocking and needs to be addressed in the summer. Joe Willock was once again on the scoresheet, that's now 6 goals in 6 consecutive games and we simply have to get this guy signed and build our midfield around him next season. Sheffield United, who are getting ready for life in the championship didn't really force Dubravka into a save, lacked a cutting edge up front which has been mainly their problem this season.
