It wasn't too long ago that Rajasthan Royals were riding high at the top of the table looking like the team to beat. But with just one win in the last five matches their campaign is in danger of going off the rails. Their latest defeat at the hands of table-toppers. Gujarat Titans was a real low point and they will be desperate to bounce back quickly. Speaking of low points Sunrisers have had plenty of them this season and are in a situation where every game is a must-win contest if they are to dream of making the playoffs. So it's two teams who need a win very badly today. Samson finishes it off in style as Rajasthan Royals post a mammoth total on the board. RR have put 214/2 at the end of their allotted 20 overs and it was the top three batters who did the bulk of the job for the home side. Earlier in the evening Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to bat first. Yashasvi Jaiswal again gave the team a flying start and his partner in crime Jos Buttler was very watchful during the partnership of 54 runs. Jaiswal (35 off 18) was out in the 5th over as Marco Jansen used his height effectively. Then Sanju Samson joined hands with Buttler and scored briskly. Both added 138 runs for the second wicket and kept SRH bowlers at bay. After a string of low scores the English wicket-keeper batter announced himself back and hammered 10 fours and 4 sixes in his knock of 95 from 59 balls. He was trapped infront by Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the penultimate over and made sure that Jos the Boss didn't get to the three figures. Samson was unbeaten at 66 off 38 balls which included 4 fours and 5 sixes helping the side go well past the magical 200-run mark. Shimron Hetmyer was not out at the other end scoring 7 off 5 balls. Sunrisers' bowlers didn't have a great day at the office and were on the receiving end of the big partnership between Samson and Buttler. There is some turn on offer and it is not that easy for a new batter. The chase will be a trickier one for the visiting Hyderabad side. Sunrisers Hyderabad (Playing XI): Abhishek Sharma Rahul Tripathi Aiden Markram(c) Heinrich Klaasen(w) Glenn Phillips Abdul Samad Marco Jansen Vivrant Sharma Mayank Markande Bhuvneshwar Kumar T Natarajan. Sunrisers Hyderabad Subs: Harry Brook Anmolpreet Singh Mayank Dagar Nitish Reddy Sanvir Singh. Rajasthan Royals (Playing XI): Yashasvi Jaiswal Jos Buttler Sanju Samson(w/c) Joe Root Dhruv Jurel Shimron Hetmyer Ravichandran Ashwin Murugan Ashwin Sandeep Sharma Kuldip Yadav Yuzvendra Chahal. Rajasthan Royals Subs: Devdutt Padikkal Adam Zampa Riyan Parag Jason Holder Obed McCoy. Jos Buttler (Rajasthan Royals): "Yeah I think I always want to start fast and get the strike rate up have not been feeling it in the last few games took a little bit of time to feel myself in. I think that's something I've learnt to soak up the pressure sometimes and catch up later the younger version of myself always wanted to hit it out of the park and I still want to but the experience helps. He is batting well throughout the season and getting off to fast starts and I'm able to sometimes tuck in behind him he's been batting that well" Audio Content Disclaimer For This Content This is self-created content and not copied content. IPL 2023 Match 47 Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders Live This Match Will be Played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium Hyderabad on 4th May 2023 This Match Will Start at 7.30pm From Indian Standard time. SRH vs KKR IPL 2023 Match 47 Live Commentary By Sports Updates by Chandan. Follow us on Social Media. However as the surface in Hyderabad will suit KKR more they will likely emerge victorious in this match. The IPL 2023 campaign of Kolkata Knight Riders hasn't been much different from that of their opponents. They had an impressive start to the tournament registering thumping wins over RCB and GT. But unfortunately they couldn't sustain the momentum and succumbed to five crushing defeats in their subsequent six fixtures. Barring RCB KKR haven't been able to prevail over any of their opponents. Even they lost it by 23 runs when these two sides met the previous time in the tournament. Their batting has been decent; it's the bowling department that has let them down. So the Knight Riders would want their bowlers to step up and put up an impressive show tomorrow. The journey of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2023 has been shambolic to say the least. Marred by inconsistency the Hyderabad batters are yet to put up an impact as a unit. Their bowling department has been even worse failing to strike at crucial junctures. However they finally broke their three-match losing streak last time defeating Delhi Capitals by a narrow nine-run margin. Riding on flamboyant half-centuries from Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen SRH posted a massive 197 and later defended it successfully to record their third victory of this season. Despite the win they still have plenty of problems with Harry Brook's miserable batting form being the most prominent one. He has been shuffled enough throughout the order but is yet to find a suitable entry point for himself. So moving on to this game SRH would like better returns from their core players- particularly Brook Aiden Markram and Rahul Tripathi. On Thursday Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders will take on each other in the 47th group-stage match of the ongoing Indian Premier League season. The high-octane clash is scheduled at the Rajiv Gandhi international stadium in Hyderabad. Sunrisers Hyderabad After making loads of changes to that top order throughout the season SRH finally seemed to get things right in their last match against DC. They will likely retain the same group and probably replace Akeal Hosein with Marco Jansen. Tactics & Matchups: Suyash Sharma and Varun Chakaravarthy have been amongst the wickets for KKR this season but Aiden Markram's record against leg spin in IPL is pretty good. He averages 46.50 at a strike rate over 145 so his presence in the middle overs will be crucial for SRH. Kolkata Knight Riders KKR will have a big call to make at the top of the order after Rahmanullah Gurbaz's 81 in the last game. If Jason Roy is fit he might replace David Wiese as the fourth overseas player. Tactics & Matchups: Andre Russell usually bowls at the death for KKR these days. But there is a case for him to bowl early in the game this time given his superior record against Rahul Tripathi and Mayank Agarwal. He has bowled a combined 43 deliveries to these two and has dismissed them six times in total. What to expect: A humid evening awaits the players. In terms of the conditions we have had a couple of high-scoring games and a couple of low-scoring games so far this season. Did you know: - KKR have bowled 100+ overs of spin which constitutes 60% of their total overs and picked 33 wickets the most by a team. - Heinrich Klaasen averages 49 at a strike rate of 170.56 in T20 cricket this year. IPL 2023 Match 46 Punjab Kings vs Mumbai Indians Live Scores This Match Will be Played at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium Mohali on 3rd May 2023 This Match Will Start at 7.30pm From Indian Standard time. They chased down a score of over 200 in the last game but this is not Wankhede and it is not that easy to chase here. They still need to back themselves though and let's see how they go about their business against the likes of Arshdeep Singh and Nathan Ellis who are brilliant in the death. Mumbai well they were again very poor in the death overs. They got an early wicket of Prabhsimran Singh in the Powerplay and then their two spinners Piyush Chawla and Kumar Kartikeya bowled well in the middle overs. Chawla got two wickets as well but once he was done with his spell the duo of Jitesh and Livingstone just exploded. Jofra Archer Mumbai's premier bowler was hammered all over the park as he ended with 56 runs in his four overs. Akash Madhwal though showed signs of being a good death bowler but overall it has been another disappointing performance from Mumbai bowlers. The home team Punjab lost Prabhsimran Singh early but Dhawan batted with intent although Matthew Short failed to get going at the other end. Dhawan was outfoxed by Chawla though and Short also could not last longer. However that turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Punjab as Jitesh walked out with his usual swagger. He had Livingstone alongside him and both smashed Mumbai bowlers all over the park with Jofra Archer too not spared. Both of them stayed unbeaten and stitched together a stand of 119 off 53 balls as Livingstone scored 82 off 42 balls and Jitesh Sharma ended with 49 off 27 balls to take Punjab to a mammoth total here. Punjab go into the break with a big smile on their face. Their powerful batting line-up has once again shown its supremacy against a relatively inexperienced Mumbai bowling attack. Absolute carnage in the death overs again and they have smashed 69 runs in the last five overs. They have reached a very good score now and Mumbai would need to bat well to chase down another 200-plus total. Rohit Sharma departs without troubling scorers and Mumbai are off to the worst possible start! Rishi Dhawan bowls this on a length and wide outside the off pole. Rohit Sharma reaches for this and looks to go over the off side field but slices this towards third man. Matthew Short runs along the boundary and takes a well-judged catch to his left. Rishi looks absolutely thrilled with this and so are his teammates. A beauty from Rishi Dhawan and he cuts Cameron Green into half with this in-swinger! This is bowled on a good length and in line with the stumps. Cameron Green pushes at the line of the ball and gets beaten on the inside edge. The ball just misses the leg pole. Green gets his first boundary and that is some power! Arshdeep Singh bowls this full and in line with the stumps. Cameron Green lofts this straight towards long on for four runs. Ishan has timed this nicely! Arshdeep Singh bowls this full and outside the off pole. Ishan cuts this late towards deep backward point for four runs. Good delivery and well-negotiated by Ishan! Arshdeep bowls this back of a length and into the batter form outside off. Ishan Kishan sways back and gets the bat onto the ball. It goes over the short third man fielder for four more runs. Green gets enough bat on this to send it flying to the fence! Curran bowls this short and wide outside the off pole. Green slashes at this hard and gets this off the thickish outside edge towards third man for four runs. When Green hits this ball it stays hit! Curran has been far too short and serves this outside off. Green pulls this towards deep mid-wicket for four runs. IPL 2023 Match 41 Chennai Super Kings vs Punjab Kings Live This Match Will be Played at MA Chidambaram Stadium Chennai on 30th April 2023 This Match Will Start at 3.30pm From Indian Standard time. CSK vs PBKS IPL 2023 Match 41 Live Commentary By Sports Updates by Chandan. Follow us on Social Media. Facebook: https://m.facebook.com/Sports-Updates-by-Chandan-108054670939374/?ref=bookmarks YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCr2IiLqoVoqWHdyWW_inRkg YouTube 1: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdEtpnaEyqVJ3p5Xm3OqMEg Twitter: https://twitter.com/techindia251995?s=09 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chandan_singh1/ Telegram: https://t.me/sportsupdatesbychandan The Punjab Kings' campaign in the ongoing season has been a mixed bag with four wins and as many losses from eight matches played. The team is currently placed in the sixth position in the points table having accumulated eight points with a net run rate of -0.510. PBKS boasts a potent bowling attack with Arshdeep Singh and Rahul Chahar forming a formidable partnership while the return of Kagiso Rabada from injury is expected to bolster their firepower. Furthermore the emergence of Sam Curran as a reliable all-rounder has brought much-needed balance to the PBKS squad owing to his consistent contributions across departments. For the game against CSK Harpreet Brar will come in place of Gurnoor Singh Brar. The bowling attack went for a plenty in the last match against LSG and will be low on confidence. In terms of batting the Punjab Kings' top-order consisting of Shikhar Dhawan Prabhsimran Singh and Atharva Taide have been the mainstay of their scoring. The young Taide has shown glimpses of his potential and is expected to bat at number three. However the middle-order comprising Liam Livingstone Sikandar Raza and Sam Curran needs to step up and provide support to Jitesh Sharma and Shahrukh Khan. CSK under the leadership of the legendary MS Dhoni has made a strong start to their IPL 2023 campaign winning five out of eight matches with just three defeats. The team currently holds the fourth position on the table with a commendable net run rate of 0.376 and ten points to their name. The batting department of the team has been a breath of fresh air with the likes of Devon Conway Ajinkya Rahane Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shivam Dube in scintillating form. Although the team has plenty of depth in their batting all-rounders Moeen Ali and Ravindra Jadeja have not been able to consistently perform with the bat. The bowling unit has also shown improvement with Tushar Deshpande being the standout performer with 14 wickets to his name albeit being a bit expensive. Matheesha Pathirana has been the go-to bowler for skipper Dhoni in the slog overs while Akash Singh has primarily been used during the power play. The spin duo of Ravindra Jadeja and Maheesh Theekshana has been nothing short of brilliant. This Sunday the iconic M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai will witness a clash of titans as the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) take on the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in an eagerly awaited showdown. This marks the solitary encounter between the two teams this season with each side having competed in eight games thus far. The CSK have displayed their mettle with five magnificent triumphs while the PBKS have emerged victorious four times. After facing disappointing losses in their previous games both teams will be striving to seize the initiative and reignite their winning streaks. Overall CSK and PBKS have clashed in 28 matches with the former having the upper hand over the latter by a 16-12 margin. Chennai Super Kings CSK are expected to stick with the same side. Ben Stokes and Deepak Chahar are still not ready. Punjab Kings Sikandar Raza is expected to hold onto his spot with his bowling expected to come in handy. Harpreet Brar wasn't in the XI last time but is expected to return on Sunday. What to expect: This will be the first day game of the season in Chennai and as a result both captains won't have to worry about dew. CSK generally prefer chasing but batting first is definitely not a bad idea if the teams are presented with a slowish track. The game could be interrupted by a bit of rain at noon but the forecast isn't threatening enough. Audio Content Disclaimer For This Content This is self-created content and not copied content. IPL 2023 Match 39 Kolkata Knight Riders vs Gujarat Titans Live This Match Will be Played at Eden Gardens Kolkata on 29th April 2023 This Match Will Start at 3.30pm From Indian Standard time. The match will be played at the iconic Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata on Saturday 29th April at 3:30 PM IST. Team Preview Kolkata Knight Riders: have played eight matches in the tournament so far. They have managed to win three of these matches and are currently at number seven in the points table. After a relatively good start in the tournament KKR lost their way as they lost four matches on the bounce. But they have returned back to winning ways with a victory against RCB in the last match. The 'Purple Army' will be looking to ride on the winning momentum that they have and win against GT on their home turf picking up two valuable points. Mentionable in the last meeting with GT Rinku Singh pulled off an improbable heist for the team hitting five sixes in the last over to take them across the line. Nitish Rana and company will be keen to repeat the antics in this match also. Team Preview Gujarat Titans: The defending champions have been consistent in their campaign this year. They have played seven matches in the tournament and managed to win five. Currently they are at number two in the points table and will be looking to maintain their position in the top half of the table with a win in this match. Hardik Pandya and his men will be mindful of the way they lost the match this time. They will try and avoid any late slip in this match and pick up two important points. In their last match against Mumbai Indians the Titans practically batted their opponents out of the match. They posted a stellar total of 207 runs on the board while batting first and then restricted the five-time champions to 152 for 9 in 20 overs. They will look to maintain this momentum and pick up another win on the bounce. Kolkata Knight Riders Shardul Thakur bowled an extended spell and also batted during practice before the game in Bengaluru but did not play the game as he was still recovering from a niggle. and is likely to replace Vaibhav Arora unless KKR opt to leave out Umesh who has been bagged only one wicket and has an economy of close to 10. Tactics & match-ups: Shardul could prove an effective option against Shubman Gill having dismissed him twice and conceding only 36 runs off 32 balls against the GT opener. Narine has dismissed Wriddhiman Saha four times and could be used early by KKR when they are bowling. Gujarat Titans: The Hardik Pandya-led team are likely to stick to the same combination that won them the last two matches. Tactics & match-ups: Andre Russell averages only 3.67 against Rashid Khan with a strike rate of 61.11 and has been dismissed three times by the Afghanistan legspinner. GT are likely to focus on this match-up and turn to Pandya who has dismissed Nitish Rana twice. Did you know: Hardik Pandya has scored 366 runs in 11 innings against KKR averaging 61 with a strike rate of 173.46. He has also picked up 11 wickets against them at an average of 14.45 with an economy of 6.91. Sunil Narine has bowled 1442 dot deliveries in the IPL. He needs 11 more to overtake R Ashwin who is currently in the second spot. Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1473) has bowled the most number of dot balls. What to expect: As many as four 200-plus totals have been scored in only six innings at the Eden Gardens so far with 222 being the average first innings total. The team batting first has won each of the three matches but those were all evening games and it remains to be seen if the conditions differ for the afternoon match. Both teams have had a break of six days before this game and are currently level on four wins each. Punjab have done a great job to be in this position despite some key players missing. Their last couple of victories haven't come because of one or two players. Instead different names have stepped up with the bat in the absence of Shikhar Dhawan while the bowling has largely been brilliant throughout - the highlight being that over from Arshdeep Singh at the Wankhede. How good was that! And how much better can Punjab do if Dhawan and Rabada were to return now! Some unbelievable strikes and continuous power hitting from Kyle Mayers Ayush Badoni Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran have helped the LSG side to post the highest total this season. Only the second time 250+ total have been put by a team in the history of the IPL! Earlier in the evening Shikhar Dhawan won the toss and invited LSG to bat first. Kyle Mayers was going all guns blazing and added 41 runs for the first wicket in no time alongside KL Rahul. The latter was playing second fiddle to Mayers but showed intent by lofting Kagiso Rabada on his first ball for a six. But the South African pacer had the last laugh on the LSG skipper and dismissed Rahul on the next delivery. Mayers continued his onslaught and hammered his fourth fifty of the season. Ayush Badoni was promoted to number three and batted freely. Mayers and Badoni added 33 runs for the second wicket. Mayers (54 off 24) too was taken care of by Rabada in the last ball of the powerplay. LSG smoked 74 runs in the first six and lost both the openers. Badoni and Marcus Stoinis took off and smashed the bowling side to all parts of the ground stitching 89 runs for the third wicket. Following this Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran took the scoring rate up exponentially and blistered 76 runs for the fourth wicket. PBKS bowlers had no answers to this and ended up flat on the ground. While Badoni scored 43 off 24 balls Stoinis slammed 74 off 40 balls. Pooran was out in the final over but before getting trapped infront the West Indian clubbed 45 off just 17 balls as LSG posted 257/5 in the 20 overs. Punjab Kings (Playing XI): Atharva Taide Shikhar Dhawan(c) Sikandar Raza Liam Livingstone Sam Curran Jitesh Sharma(w) Shahrukh Khan Kagiso Rabada Rahul Chahar Gurnoor Brar Arshdeep Singh. Punjab Kings Subs: Prabhsimran Singh Mohit Rathee Rishi Dhawan Matthew Short Harpreet Brar. Lucknow Super Giants (Playing XI): KL Rahul(c) Kyle Mayers Deepak Hooda Marcus Stoinis Krunal Pandya Nicholas Pooran(w) Ayush Badoni Naveen-ul-Haq Ravi Bishnoi Avesh Khan Yash Thakur. Lucknow Super Giants Subs: Krishnappa Gowtham Daniel Sams Prerak Mankad Amit Mishra Mark Wood. Ayush Badoni (LSG): "I feel really good. I was waiting for this opportunity for so long and I finally got it today so really happy I could contribute. When I came on I realized that the wicket is very good and I can bat for long and I was just told to play my shots and put away the old balls. We were not thinking too much about the total but to put away the bad balls and put away the bad balls." Audio Content Disclaimer For This Content This is self-created content and not copied content. IPL 2023 Match 37 Rajasthan Royals vs Chennai Super Kings Live Scores This Match Will be Played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium Jaipur on 27th April 2023 This Match Will Start at 7.30pm From Indian Standard time. And the last two games are more evidence that Dhoni and Co. are back to their best; winning by 7 wickets (SRH) and 47 runs (KKR). So what has clicked? The batting. Gaikwad Conway Rahane and Dube have been among the runs. In fact the resurgence of Rahane has boosted their middle over play as he's striking at close to 200. Tushar Deshpande is another player who has excelled under Dhoni and is the highest wicket-taker in the team while Jadeja has been a bank with the ball. The team is coming together and they're starting to peak at the halfway mark. Other teams better watch out! That’s the end of the innings. A brilliant batting display from the Rajasthan Royals comes to an end as they post a mammoth 202 on the board the highest total on this ground in IPL. The foundation was laid by Yashasvi Jaiswal at the start and cameos from Devdutt Padikkal and Dhruv Jurel at the back end of the innings have helped them finish with a flourish. The Chennai Super Kings have an uphill task ahead of them. Batting first the Royals got off to a sensational start thanks to Yashasvi Jaiswal. The youngster from Mumbai came out all guns blazing and hit some glorious shots up front. He struck at a brisk rate and his opening partner Jos Buttler played the role of a second fiddle. The Royals scored 64 at the end of the powerplay. There was no stopping Jaiswal as he continued playing his strokes after the fielding restrictions. He brought up his fifty off just 26 balls. Ravindra Jadeja broke the 86-run opening stand when he dismissed Buttler on 27. Skipper Sanju Samson departed on a run-a-ball 17 in the 14th over. Tushar Deshpande dismissed Jaiswal on a 43-ball 77 in the same over which helped CSK to get back in the contest. The Super Kings bowled well and the Royals lost Shimron Hetmyer (8) in the 17th over who was promoted up the order. Devdutt Padikkal joined Dhruv Jurel and both played some excellent shots. Both Padikkal (27* off 13 balls) and Jurel (34 off 15 balls) hit some lusty blows at the end to power their side to 202 at the end of their 20 overs. The Super Kings picked up five wickets in total with Deshpande finishing with two. They went on a journey throughout their innings. An odd ball is turning and gripping but the surface looks good for batting. The Super Kings will have to create history tonight as they will be chasing the highest total at this venue. Let's see how they respond. Rajasthan Royals (Playing XI): Jaiswal Jos Buttler Padikkal Sanju Samson(w/c) Shimron Hetmyer Dhruv Jurel Ravichandran Ashwin Holder Adam Zampa Sandeep Sharma Yuzvendra Chahal. Rajasthan Royals Subs: Ferreira Murugan Riyan Parag KM Asif Kuldip Yadav. Chennai Super Kings (Playing XI): Ruturaj Gaikwad Devon Conway Ajinkya Rahane Moeen Ali Shivam Dube Ravindra Jadeja MS Dhoni(w/c) Matheesha Pathirana Tushar Deshpande Maheesh Theekshana Akash Singh. Chennai Super Kings Subs: Rayudu Pretorius Senapati Shaik Rasheed RS Hangargekar. Yashasvi Jaiswal (Rajasthan Royals): "I think it is a good total and we will defend it. It is a good batting wicket. Let's see how we go with the defense. I am trying to get information about all the venues we are playing and look to adapt to the conditions. I always try to play with good confidence. We (Buttler and Jaiswal) will try to keep the tempo going and always at the bowlers. The cutters and slower ones stop on the surface and that is what I know as of now. The new ball is coming nicely onto the bat." Audio Content Disclaimer For This Content This is self-created content and not copied content. A boring day at the office or a routine walk around the park. Hold on! A scrumptious battle awaits us. Hardik Pandya is back facing his former franchise which actually made Hardik who he is now. Yes we are speaking of Mumbai Indians. The defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) will face the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It will mark the 35th match of the 16th edition's Indian Premier League (IPL) & will mark the exact halfway of the league phase. Team Preview (Gujarat Titans): Well Hardik Pandya has is a different personnel when he leads a team. Whether it is leading the Indian side or it is leading an IPL franchise Hardik is a role model. His cool & calm nature around has inspired his side to come on top in many crunch situations & which is why they manage to close out games on their side which actually they had no right to win. The Titans are coming off something similar to what they do the best- heist. It was a fairly easy run chase for Lucknow Super Giants but KL Rahul & Co. made a meal of it in the end handing the Gujarat-based franchise a 7-run win. Batting first on a slowish track at Lucknow GT crawled their way to 135. It was a welcome return to form for Kung-Fu Pandya who notched a responsible fifty before Mohit Sharma held his nerve to bowl a superb final over stopping well-set KL Rahul from taking his team over the line. Overall GT have won four of their six games & have eight points in their kitty. The team management trusts their regular players & gives them a long go. However they do alter a few players according to the situation like they are using Noor instead of Little & also have sidelined Joseph in the last few matches. They have trusted Vijay Shankar & Abhinav Manohar with B Sai Sudharsan getting dropped in the previous fixture. However they might take a decision on these players based on pitch & venue. Team Preview (Mumbai Indians): Though coming off a loss against Punjab in a run-fest at Wankhede the Rohit Sharma-led unit is a team to watch for as they are in every season. It was a tough pill to swallow as they lost by 13 runs in a record run chase of 215 against PBKS. While Chawla has been a revolution bringing back the good old memories of when he was a regular starter with Team India. Hrithik Shokeen has been economical but needs to add some volume under the wickets column which is why MI have been going for plenty with the ball this season. MI's fast bowling unit has so many world-class players but has looked toothless even with the comeback of English seamer Jofra Archer. Arjun was on spot in his first two matches but has been taken to the cleaners & was hammered to 31 runs by Bhatia & Curran in an over. Whether the management keep the young Tendulkar going is a thing to watch out for with Warrier waiting in the dug-out. Mumbai Indians as always have a tremendous batting force with Kishan & Rohit giving flying starts up at the top followed by Green Suryakumar & Tilak holding the fort in the middle order before Tim David unleashes the brute power in the slog overs. Apart from Green & Tilak they haven't been consistent which is why the Mumbai-based franchise are struggling. At present Mumbai Indians have won three of their six matches & have six points to be stationed at seventh place in the points table. With the players in form it's going to be a cracking match at Ahmedabad. Head-to-Head (GT vs MI): Mumbai Indians won the solitary fixture between the two sides last season & was the only game GT lost while chasing in the IPL.
