LeBron James: Has he gotten worse? What about the Lakers? #NBA #LeBron #Lakers Sign up for your free webinar: http://www.MJ.AttractJobsNOW.com Instagram- @MJ2K_ALLDAY Twitter- @mj2kallday LeBron James has been so good for so long. But this season has shown us that perhaps he is getting old. The real question is, Is LeBron James getting worse? If we look at just the stats, LeBron might not look any different. He averaged 27.5 points per game, 9 assists (9.1), and 8.6 rebounds last season. This season he’s averaging 27.5 points, 8 assists and 8.5 rebounds only shooting 3% less from 3 and 3% less from the field. And that’s why stats can be deceiving because just looking at LeBron, something is obviously wrong. He’s the third slowest moving player on defense behind Dirk who is a national treasure at this point, and James Harden who has cleaned up his act, but is questionable on defense. He got blocked by Mario Henzoja for the game. He got blocked by a scrub. The point is even with all the problems this year, LeBron is still one of the great and his possible decline shouldn’t be encouraged so let’s break all this down. And to all those that subscribed, thanks, but now somehow 93% of y’all not subscribed. Most of you tell me you thought you were subscribed, and kinda like LeBron thought the Knicks and Lakers aren’t different, that’s wrong. We’re trying to get that 7% higher than Lonzo’s free throw percentage. So please subscribe. LeBron James has been so good for so long. And even this season, he’s still one of the best players in the world. But last season, there was debate on whether LeBron was somehow getting better in his 15th season with a not so great roster because he averaged a career high in assists while still averaging 27. And then in the playoffs, LeBron also went bonkers, hitting game winners, making Toronto, LeBronto. He made them his bi----. He averaged 34, 9, and 9 in the playoffs. The Cavs went 50-32 with LeBron playing all 82 games at the age of 33 playing the most minutes in the NBA and went through the Eastern Conference to make the playoffs. His usage rate was 30.6 last season and this season is 30.8, but this season since his playoff mode has been activated, more and more things have went wrong. The Lakers were 28-29 when LeBron said his playoff mode activated and now are sitting at 31-39 meaning 3-10 since playoff mode activated, losing games to the Hawks, Suns, Grizzlies, and the Knicks during this span, all games that are inexcusable, especially for playoff LeBron. He hasn’t been able to lead his team in the clutch either. 7 of those games were decided in the clutch with the Lakers going 2-5 and LeBron bricking free throws shooting 57% from the line in the clutch during those 7 games. LeBron’s shooting 68% from the free throw line and shooting 45% from the field in the clutch which is less than the 55% from the field in the clutch he shot last season. The Cavs were also 30-15 in the clutch last season. He’s driving less and less to the basket in the clutch because he’s not making free throws. Even his finishing seems less prolific. While LeBron is driving to the rim almost as much as last year, he is only shooting 54% on the drive versus 60% last season. It’s not too major but it definitely is not LeBron from last year, not the LeBron that can just consistently carry a team to victory. LeBron only has 4.6 offensive win shares this season which is his lowest since his rookie season. Last season, he had 11 offensive win shares. The best version of LeBron in the regular season was the Miami Heat LeBron, the LeBron that was at the peak of his athleticism and energy levels. He had 14.6 offensive win shares in 2012. LeBron James was ranked 491st in defensive rating last season along with 321st in defensive win shares. Yeah LeBron was not good defensively. He was horrible. But it was an effort issue. He was taking possessions off and just not really trying. He’s 255th in defensive rating this year and 41st in defensive win shares, more than doubling his win shares from last season, but these stats don’t tell the whole truth. LeBron is barely moving laterally on defense. He fails to switch, fails to rotate, or provide help defense, but he was doing that last season too. He’s not the Miami Heat LeBron that could spend energy on both ends even if defense is winning basketball. The mistakes on defense are more compounded because he’s in LA and because the Lakers are losing so much, every little thing is scrutinized. LeBron in the playoffs ends up providing more on-ball defense in crucial spurts, but even last year’s playoffs didn’t show too much defense. It definitely wasn’t this horrid defense that he’s shown the past two seasons and wasn’t a liability on that end.
So the Knicks traded Kristaps Porzingis to the Mavs for essentially Dennis Smith Jr. and some cap space, but why did the Knicks have to trade Porzingis right now? #NBA #Porzingis #Trade Instagram- @mj2k_allday At first, like most Knicks fans and most people, I immediately thought the Knicks were like that one kid in class trying to stay back. But then after talking to an older Knicks fan and looking into it, I realized it’s not as bad as I or everyone initially thought because it’s about context. Twitter- @mj2kallday The ALLDAY Collection: https://www.mjallday.com/ Kristaps Porzingis was nursing an ACL tear that has kept him out for a year. And then a more than bad meeting with the Knicks in which Porzingis essentially didn’t buy in to the Knicks plan of rebuilding which is kinda weird since he knew this season would be a throwaway. Porzingis requested a trade and the Knicks immediately got to looking for offers. It makes sense up to this point. If your supposed franchise player isn’t bought into the plan, you can’t build around him because that person can’t be depended on to stay for that. But this also isn’t the first time Porzingis has shown signs of resentment against the Knicks. Remember when the Knicks got a new President in the Summer of 2017 and Porzingis stayed in Europe and refused to meet with him. He already wasn’t happy with the Knicks back then and this was no different. Ok, ok so it made sense to trade Porzingis, but then why trade him for a guy you could have drafted in 2017 and you drafted Frank instead of him Deandre Jordan, and Wesley Matthews? Deandre Jordan and Wesley Matthews are valuable expiring contracts. By trading equal salary in Tim Hardaway Jr. who I do like, and Courtney Lee and then buying out DJ and Matthews, the Knicks have cleared up $74 M in salary cap so yeah it’s pretty valuable. The one unprotected 2021 first round draft pick and a protected 2023 first round draft pick are also pretty valuable, but shouldn’t you have been able to get more for a 7’ 3” demigod. I thought that, I mean he’s the unicorn. But it’s not as easy as that. Kristaps Porzingis was unhappy with the Knicks and with that being public, the longer that crept into the media and spread around, the more Porzingis’s trade value would have diminished. Remember when we thought the Thunder had robbed the Pacers and to be fair it worked out well for both teams, but because Paul George had made it public that he wanted out, it put the Pacers in a state of distress to get assets back and teams were lowballing them offers. This also happened to Kyrie when he got traded for Isaiah Thomas and Jae Crowder with diminished value. Porzingis would have lost trade value as time past on. On top of that, we gotta consider his injury history. He’s injured his left achilles, left groin, right foot, right ankle, and right shoulders. I know Porzingis is only 23, but a torn ACL is not just an easy injury to come back from. On top of that Porzingis is 7’ 3”. Foot and leg injuries are very common for big men, especially big men who move fast and quick. Yao Ming was one of those players, Shaq was downed by injuries. There are players like Anthony Davis who has pushed through but a torn ACL is no small matter. Whether you think he will be injury prone or not is not necessarily important, it’s more about the perception the league would have. As more reports would have come out and more teams looked into Porzingis injury history, his trade value one again would have dropped. Porzingis would have been a Restricted free agent this offseason, and the Knicks potentially could have done a sign and trade deal, but doing this has allowed a huge amount of cap space to be freed up, 2 max free agent slots. They also got Dennis Smith Jr, who can develop way more. I’m not insanely in love with his game, but having his own team for the time being will definitely help him. The Knicks will still be bad because DJ won’t play for the Knicks and so they can still get a good draft pick this year. Those future first rounders could be used in future trades to bolster a supporting cast around superstars. Now this whole narrative of players wanting to play for New York is cool and on and I guess the Knicks really gave themselves the opportunity of signing max free agents who want to uplift franchises like maybe a Kevin Durant or a Kyrie. In fact, LeBron even considered going to the Knicks. But I don’t want to expect players to sign to the Knicks or have this be a factor if this trade was good for the Knicks or not. While I’m still hurt about who we got and was hoping for better, I realize now that the Knicks did this all so quickly in order to avoid Porzingis’s value falling and to create massive cap space out of no where. Magic was praised for doing that when he traded D Lo and Brook Lopez and so this is pretty similar.

Michael Jordan has some of the best trash talk in NBA history, but Jordan was able to destroy this NBA player’s career with just one sentence. Link to NEW CHANNEL, RUN IT: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZWAssCaz6YHMXGziCKtdPw And that player was the shortest player in NBA history. Michael Jordan is ruthless. He isn’t afraid of anyone. In fact, other players were scared of him,, but what happens when MJ begins to trash talk? You’re about to find out what he did with one sentence. Twitch- https://www.twitch.tv/mjallday2k Instagram- @mj2k_allday Twitter- @mj2kallday I’ve been wanting to this video for a long time. Screw the intro, smash like button. 1500 likes for a video on Monday. Gaming channel has it’s first video up so check that out and I’m probably streaming when this video goes up too so Let’s run it. Michael Jordan has a fair share of trash talking stories just because he was a competitor to his core, but this one might have had the most impact on the other player. Let’s set the scene. It’s Game 5 in the 1st round of the 1995 NBA Playoffs. The series is between the Bulls and Hornets and it’s 2-1. Yeah 1995 is the year Jordan wore 45 and played like a 45 year old. (Im just joking). Even with MJ not being at his best, that didn’t mean that he didn’t scare the living crap out of his opponents. The Bulls with MJ were intimidating and so the Hornets with Alonzo Mourning, Larry Johnson, David Wingate, and Muggsy Bogues, (*cough, I said Muggsy Bogues) sorry about that the camera was pointed too high, that Hornets team was giving the Bulls problems. Jordan was killing the Hornets in the series. He had scored 48 in the first game and 32 in the second. The first round was best of 5 and not 7 in 1995 and so this 4th game was do or die for the Hornets. It was in Chicago and the game was tight all the way through. You remember how I mentioned Muggsy Bogues? Muggsy Bogues is the shortest player in NBA history standing in at 5’ 3”. 5’ 3” my guy, I’m not gonna do any short jokes, that’s a hard life being that height and playing the NBA, like seriously props to Muggsy Bogues. With that height obviously came a lot of taunting from opponents and teammates and so Bogues was used to that. In fact, for the past 3 seasons, Bogues had averaged over 10 points per game and over 9 assists per game. He wasn’t just some scrub and he had carved out a nice career for himself. So why do I mention all this? Jordan and Pippen were carrying the Bulls. The game is tied late in the 4th quarter. Now this story gets blown out of proportion all the time so I’m gonna tell how it is. Michael Jordan flew up in the air into space, came back down to earth, went to Muggsy Bogues and told him he sucks. This is what happens when you work till 3 Am. (beep). So what really happened was that there were 4 and a half minutes, game tied at 76. Muggsy Bogues gets the ball and in this grinded out game, every basket counts. And so MJ switches on to Bogues but instead of guarding him tight, he sort of backs off, but while backing off, Michael Jordan said one sentence and this one sentence would go on to change Bogues forever. Jordan told Bogues, “Shoot it, you motherf***ing midget.” Damn. Now Bogues is used to the insults, but coming from a guy like MJ is a whole new ballpark and so when Muggsy shot that, he had no confidence and bricked it. The Bulls would go on to win the game and the series, but just that one sentence, that one sentence would do a lot to Muggsy Bogues. For the remaining of his career, Muggsy would never average double digit points or over 8 assists per game. In fact, he would average 5.9 points and 5 assists per game for the remaining 8 seasons. It was a huge drop off from averaging 8 assists and over 10 points per game. But don’t take it from me, I’m just some random YouTuber saying it. Take it from Muggsy Bogues himself. Muggsy told his coach that one single play ruined his career and that his confidence just never came back. Damn, what would have happened if Jordan spit one more sentence, would Bogues have retired on the spot? Ok that was also a bad joke, I’m just gonna keep going. Michael Jordan was so dominating that he legit just made a guy question his own skill for the rest of his career with one sentence. I don’t know about you but that just blows my mind. MJ wasn’t even close to being prime MJ and he did all that with 5 words. Wait is motherf***ing one word or 2 words? Let’s just say 1. He did that with 5 words. I know Muggsy Bogues wasn’t the best of the best or anything but he still was an NBA veteran at that point and so yeah, Michael Jordan DESTROYED this player’s career with one sentence. But what do you think? Is Michael Jordan the best trash talker of all time?
Kobe Bryant is the black mamba and in the NBA has moments where he absolutely destroyed his opponent no matter who he was vs. Download Amino and join me in the Hardwood community! iOS and Google Play: https://aminoapps.onelink.me/4eRt/MJ2KAllDay Search "Hardwood" on the Explore Page once you sign up Follow Me and vote in my poll: MJ2KALLDAY Kobe Bryant is known to be the Black Mamba with a killer mentality and so over his career there have been times when Kobe has absolutely destroyed his opponent and those times have been crazy. Twitch- https://www.twitch.tv/mjallday2k Instagram- @mj2k_allday https://www.instagram.com/mj2k_allday/ Twitter- @mj2kallday Kobe Bryant may be the most savage player in NBA history and is a guy who would stop at nothing. Sometimes that came at the expense of his opponent cause Kobe has no regard for human life. I mean, he didn’t even flinch. The 50K giveaway is out in my last video with sneakers and jerseys and as always hit that like button. If we hit 1500 likes in the first day, I’ll release a video within the next two days! Number 1 Kobe Dropped 55 On The GOAT Kobe and Jordan had a brotherly love relationship, but of course they were competitive, so when in 2003 Jordan is making his last trip to Staples Center and scores 11 points including a dunk off a steal in the first quarter giving the Wizards a lead, Kobe turned on the mamba mentality. Kobe would then score 23 straight points. He would end with a franchise record 42 points in the first half including 8 3 pointers and at one point 9 consecutive shots. Years later on Jimmy Kimmel, Kobe said that Jordan was trash talking after the dunk in the first quarter and so Kobe was not going to take that. Kobe finished the game with 55 points and the Lakers got the dub. Jordan finished with 23 and even though he wasn’t in his prime, Jordan got destroyed by Kobe and he did it to himself. I wonder though, if both Kobe and Jordan were in their primes, who would win in a 1 v 1? Number 2 Kobe 62, Mavericks 61 Kobe came off the bench for the first two years of his career and held a grudge against his coach at the time, Del Harris. Kobe would even say that he didn’t like Del. And so when he saw his old coach on the sidelines as an assistant coach on the Mavericks on December 20, 2005, Kobe had more fuel. Many people know that day for the time Kobe scored 62 points in 3 quarters when he outscored the Mavericks by himself in 3 quarters. He scored 30 in the 3rd quarter. The Mavericks would win 60 games that season and were one of the best teams in the NBA, but they had no answer for Kobe. The Mavericks head coach Avery Johnson said they tried everything but nothing worked. Number 3 Kobe Doesn’t Take Prisoners Kobe wasn’t just a savage in the NBA, he was a killer in high school too. Everyday, Kobe would take a benchwarmer on the team and play him to 100. Kobe won every single game. The worst game was 100-12, although Kobe swears he never let his teammate get to double digits. To do that over and over again, Kobe pretty much broke his opponent. Number 4 The 2009 Finals After Kobe had won 3 rings with Shaq, all media were doubting Kobe’s ability to win a championship without Shaq. To make things worse, Kobe and the Lakers had lost in the 2008 NBA Finals including the 39 point loss to the Celtics in Game 6 in 2008. Add to the fact that guys like Turkoglu were guarding Kobe and it was barbecue chicken. So Kobe came out the gates in game 1 having 40, 8 and 8 and won by 25. During the whole series, Kobe averaged 32 points, 7 and a half assists, and 5 and a half rebounds while destroying the Magic in 5 games. Kobe Bryant would get his first finals MVP and shut all his haters up because he had carried his team to a championship. Number 5 Kobe Scores 81 Kobe’s 81 was one of the best examples of him straight up destroying his opponent. The Raptors would be up ahead against the Lakers in the 3rd quarter by 18. Kobe had already been giving the Raptors the work scoring 26 in the first half but it wasn’t enough. Kobe took it in his own hands to will his team. Kobe dropped 27 in the 3rd quarter and by the end of the game, would have 81. Every single Raptors player would say that there was just no way to stop him. Bosh said that they were just watching him shoot. To me, it’s crazy how Kobe can kick it up another gear, especially when challenged and when he does kick it up another gear, I don’t think there is anyone that could guard him. I know a lot of people have Kobe in different places in their all time rankings and I get that, but let’s not forget about the time Kobe could absolutely destroy his opponent. But what do you think about these stories? Is Kobe the most unguardable player in NBA history when he’s hot? Who would win a 1 v 1 between Kobe and Jordan? Russell Westbrook is an NBA MVP, but he always plays with so much emotion and anger. But why? It goes back to when Russ was playing high school basketball because he wasn’t always this competitive. There is no player like Russell Westbrook and if you’ve seen him play, you know he is always going 100 miles per hour and playing angry, but why? It’s deeper than you think. Twitch- https://www.twitch.tv/mjallday2k MJ2KALLDAY Instagram- @mj2k_allday https://www.instagram.com/mj2k_allday/ Russ has been called the fiercest competitor in the NBA today. He looks like he is trying to kill his opponent and the rim. Where this attitude comes from goes back to high school, but first, hit that like button for faster uploads! Y’all been hitting 1000 likes too easily so if we get 1500 likes in the first day, I’ll release a new video within the next 2 days! And don’t forget to subscribe for fire content, but let’s just get into it. Russell Westbrook wasn’t born with a highly competitive attitude. He grew up in LA playing multiple sports including football and basketball. He was actually more gifted in football at a younger age but would find his interest in basketball and would play for Leuzinger High School. Leuzinger High School had a player that had the youngest Drew League debut at 15, had multiple college offers, was called the best high school basketball player in the nation and no this was not Russell Westbrook. He wasn’t good. He was only 5’ 8” and wasn’t even a starter for varsity. This other star’s name was Khelcey Bars. Khelcey Bars was not only this amazing player, but lived across the street from Westbrook, it was a 30 second walk. Khelcey and Russ were best friends and were inseparable, spending countless hours together. They had dreams of playing college basketball together even though it looked like Russ wouldn’t get any offers. Khelcey, at 16 years old, seemed like he would be an NBA star. As a 6’ 6” small forward, he could shoot 3s, rebound, play make, bring the ball up, defend. His future was bright, but one day Khelcey suddenly collapsed playing pick-up basketball. Everyone thought he was joking until Khelcey started rolling his eyes back. He was revived once with CPR, but on the way to the hospital, Khelcey would pass away. Russ had left the gym before all of this had happened and never witnessed what had happened to Khelcey, but it was a big deal. I mean, he just lost his best friend. Khelcey dying when he had such a bright future shook Russell Westbrook even more. It opened his eyes and made him realize to never take life for granted. There’s just too much to live for. Right after his death, Russ started to push himself in basketball and everyone around him saw it, a fire in his eyes. Russ said that the reason he began to work even harder was because Khelcey would have done the same. Their assistant coach Young says that Russ is living for two people, that he has the energy of Khelcey within him. Russ would go Russ to this day is still impacted by his friend’s death. He refuses to slow down for a second because he knows that Khelcey was ravenous about basketball. Khelcey spent hours in the gym, hours training, and was in love with basketball. When the coaches came to tell Russ that Khelcey had died, Russ had already found out and was watching game tape of the Lakers versus Spurs. The coaches said he looked catatonic, as if he was in a spell. He would say that I give it my all, 100 percent, because you never know what will happen the next day. The next year, Russ would average 25 points and 8.7 rebounds because he made basketball his life. He became the star of his high school basketball team and would get an offer from UCLA, the dream school Khelcey and Russ had wanted to play for together on. Russ to this day wears KB3 on his wristbands in honor of his best friend. That’s why he plays with such a passion on the floor, because he’s living two lives. It comes out as rage, but it’s just raw emotion. A lot of us like to hate on Russell Westbrook for his play, but I think we gotta give it to him on loyalty. I love Russ’s relentless drive, but I don’t know if that’s enough for him to win a championship. But what do you think? Can Russ win a championship with the way he plays? Are you loyal like Russ? Let me know in the comments down below. Drop a like if you liked this video and if you like Russell Westbrook’s drive.
