Clippers' Defense on James Harden leads to victory over Rockets (March 5, 2020)
Whether you like James Harden or you dislike James Harden, you can’t deny he’s one of the greatest offensive players to ever grace a basketball court. However, Thursday night, the Los Angeles Clippers bottled him up pretty well as the Clippers defeated the Houston Rockets, 120-105. It was a rout and Los Angeles’ defense on Harden was a big reason why. Harden finished just 4-of-17 from the field, including 0-of-8 from three, and turned the ball over four times while finishing with just 16 points. Reggie Jackson made his debut for the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday afternoon and finished with eight points and four assists in 22 minutes, 30 seconds of action. The Clippers ended up losing to the Sacramento Kings, 112-103, but Jackson showed a lot of the things that can be beneficial to the Clippers that enticed them after he was bought out by the Pistons.
