Paul George had an exquisite performance on Saturday evening as the Los Angeles Clippers toppled the Charlotte Hornets in blowout fashion. The final line for George was 21 points, 10 assists, five rebounds and zero turnovers. Yeah, that’s right. Zero turnovers. It’s the first time in his career he’s had a 20-point and 10-assist game with zero giveaways. When asked post-game what stat he was more proud of, he said it was the 10 assists. So, for that reason, we decided to look at all the good passing plays that George had on Saturday and break down just how he did it. It was advanced reads, simple reads, and every in-between read. George made them all. So sit back and enjoy! Yes, the Los Angeles Clippers did lose on Tuesday to the Boston Celtics. But there were still some interesting things that happened in that game that stoked my interest. For instance, the Clippers ran zone on 21 possessions in this game. That accounted for nearly 20% of their season total in terms of zone usage. That should automatically raise your eyebrows. Was this one a one-off? Was this something that we’ll see more as the season goes along? It’ll be interesting to watch play out. This video breakdown focused on 11 of those 21 possessions because I found them to be quite interesting from an analysis perspective. So, sit back and enjoy! With about four minutes to go on Sunday, the Los Angeles Clippers had a 100-96 lead on the Milwaukee Bucks. Unfortunately, they lost due to a 9-0 Bucks run over those final few minutes. The main culprit for the Clippers was their offensive production, which was essentially zero. But were they bad shots, good process but bad results, or something else? That’s what we’re here to look at in this video breakdown. So enjoy and stay safe everyone! The Los Angeles Clippers rebounded from a dreadful loss on Thursday to beat the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday, and a big part of that reason was the ball movement and willingness to move without the ball. The Clippers finished with a season-high 34 assists on their 44 made baskets, and that ability to find the open man or make the right read in general was pretty incredible to watch unfold. So we decided to look at a few of the best assists that the team had in Friday’s game. No, we didn’t pick out all 34. We did pick out 13, though, and decided to focus on them for various reasons-whether that be pace, ball movement or just man movement. We hope you enjoy. Stay safe! Not to mince words, but the Los Angeles Clippers looked downright atrocious in Thursday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies, and they paid for it dearly with what you could argue was their worst loss of the season. Memphis took advantage of the Clippers all night and made well above their average in both three-pointers and floaters. The latter is what we’re going to look at. After all, a floater is a difficult shot and it is something that defenses want to give up. Well, the Clippers gave it up and Memphis made them. 16 of them, in fact. This video breakdown will just look at the floaters that Memphis made, but if you’re looking for a super in-depth look at this then you’re going to be out of luck. Enjoy and stay safe! The Los Angeles Clippers enjoyed a rather easy win on Tuesday against the Washington Wizards. While it did get close late in the third quarter, the Clippers weren’t in as much danger as people probably thought. One of the reasons the Clippers looked as good as they did was due to the play of reserve guard Reggie Jackson, who finished with 17 points, five rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes. Jackson was a plus-18, which was good for third-best on the team. Jackson’s ability to be a distributor, downhill guard, catch-and-shoot threat and solid defender has given the Clippers life throughout the season. It seems only right to highlight the things that Jackson did well on both ends of the floor during Tuesday’s win, so that’s what we did here. Enjoy and stay safe! Second-year player Terance Mann has started to have a bigger role on the Los Angeles Clippers in recent weeks, and Friday’s victory over the Chicago Bulls was another step in that direction. Mann logged a team-high 33 minutes while finishing with seven points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block. He made three of his four shots. Mann was a game-high-tying plus-21. The youngster’s ability to be an impact player on both ends of the floor is something the Clippers have salivated over, and this video breakdown is going to look at the ways he helped the Clippers to a win on Friday. Enjoy, stay safe and wear your mask! During Wednesday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Los Angeles Clippers opted to employ a drop coverage whenever Cleveland decided to go to their potent pick-and-roll game. While the first half produced rocky results for the Clippers in that regard, the second half was where the team really took off as they buckled down with better rotations in their coverages, and also a little bit of hustle. The Clippers won the game, 121-99. This video breakdown is going to look at a vast array of plays from that game in which the Clippers had to defend Cleveland’s pick-and-roll actions. So, buckle up. There’s a TON of footage to go over. Stay safe, enjoy and godspeed.
