This is a 2nd round Women's Singles match that the former Wimbledon Champion Petra Kvitova won in three tough sets to Danka Kovinic, 6-3, 4-6, 7-6(5). Both players have tough to handle serves and strong groundstrokes. In the end, the experience of Kvitova help her attain victory.

These are selected points in a first round Women's Doubles match at the 2016 BNP Paribas Open between the number one seeded team of Martina Hingis and Sania Mirza against the Australian team of Casey Dellacqua and Sam Stosur. Hingis/Mirza won the match in straight sets 6-3, 7-5. Both teams played a very competitive match but the top seeds showed why there were there. Hingis/Mirza however, were upset in the next round to the team of Vania King and Kudryavtseva.

[11] Ana Ivanovic vs. Elina Svitolina - 2014 BNP Paribas Open

In this 2nd round match, Elina Svitolina gave the number 11 seeded Ana Ivanovic about all she could handle. In the end, the former world number one ended up winning the match in a third-set tiebreak using punishing deep shots, an all-court game and her vast experience, 4-6, 7-5, 7-6(1).
