Lebanese star Hassan Maatouk scores a header against Brazil in Pes 2012 هدف حسن معتوق ضد البرازيل تعليق جوزيف شاهين Hassan Maatouk (born October 8, 1987 in Beirut, Lebanon) is a Lebanese football striker who is currently on loan to UAE Pro-League side Ajman Club and the Lebanon national football team. He can play as second striker or a winger. Hassan plays for Al-Ahed. Of the most notable 89 goals he has scored for them since January 2005 are the three he scored from his hat-trick against Salam Zgharta in the Lebanese Premier League on 5 February 2006. During the 2009 AFC Cup, he equalized late in the game to earn Al-Ahed a 1-1 draw against Bahraini club Busaiteen Club. In 2005, his second-half strike after being brought on as a substitute Al-Ahed edge past Dempo Sports Club by that solitary goal in a Group B match of the AFC Cup. Hassan was the top scorer in the Lebanese Elite Cup 2008 with three goals: He scored the late winner in stoppage time in a 4-3 victory over Safa Sporting Club; he equalized against Shabab Al-Sahel in a 2-1 victory in the semi-finals; he scored the first goal in a 3-1 victory over Al-Ansar in the final. On January 30, 2010, Hassan scored two goals against Nejmeh SC where 10-man Al-Ahed won 3-1 to go through to the semi-finals of the Lebanese FA Cup. Earlier in the season, he scored two goals against them in a 4-2 away victory at the Al Manara Stadium in the 73rd and 82nd minute. In September 2011, UAE Pro-League side Ajman Club agreed to sign Maatouk on a year-long loan contract. On 26 March 2012, it was reported that Olympique de Marseille had observed Maatouk for several weeks and viewed on signing him in the June transfer window. On 29 March, it was also reported that AC Ajaccio and OGC Nice were also willing to recruit Maatouk.
