UP NEXT: Ohio State - Michigan Wolverines vs Maryland Terps Postgame Fan Reaction
UP NEXT: Ohio State - Michigan Wolverines vs Maryland Terps Postgame Fan Reaction

Michigan Wolverines vs Maryland Terps postgame fan reaction and we definitely played well with Ohio State up next! Cade McNamara had himself a day going 21/28 for 259 yards, 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. J.J. McCarthy added another 58 yards on 5/5 passing and he had a touchdown of his own on an excellent catch out of Mike Sanristil. The running game, led by Hassan Haskins (20 carries for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns) was decent. As a team, Michigan rushed the ball 35 times for 151 yards (4.3 yards per carry). The leading receiver on the day was Donovan Edwards (out of the backfield) who had a coming out party to say the least! He had 10 receptions for 170 yards and 1 touchdown. The defense played phenomenal in this one. Taulia Tagovailoa and the #16 in the nation Maryland Terrapins passing attack went just 19/33 for 178 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interceptions (pick-six out of D.J. Turner). The Terps rushed the ball 44 times for 181 yards (4.1 yards per carry). And now we're here- Michigan Football vs Ohio State Football, Jim Harbaugh vs Ryan Day, "THE Game" at the Big House. We'll have a preview out for that tomorrow, but for now, let's just enjoy a big W and a 10-1 record for our Michigan Wolverines. GO BLUE!

Ohio State DID NOT IMPRESS ME - Ohio State Buckeyes vs Purdue Boilermakers Postgame Fan Reaction
Ohio State DID NOT IMPRESS ME - Ohio State Buckeyes vs Purdue Boilermakers Postgame Fan Reaction

An Ohio State Buckeyes vs Purdue Boilermakers postgame fan reaction and if I'm being honest, Ohio State did NOT impress me. Sure, C.J. Stroud put up numbers (31/38 for 361 yards, 5 touchdowns and 0 interceptions). Sure, his top receivers balled out with 97% of the receiving yardage gained: Jaxon Smith-Njigba with 9 receptions, 139 yards and 1 touchdown, Garrett Wilson with 10 receptions for 126 yards and 3 touchdowns, and Chris Olave with 9 receptions for 85 yards and 1 touchdown. And sure, the ground game did it's thing as well: Miyan Williams with 14 carries for 117 yards and TreVeyon Henderson with 13 carries for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns. But at the end of the day, Ryan Day continues to have BIG problems on the defensive side of the football. If they're not giving up a ton of passing yards, they're giving up a ton of rushing yards. If they're not giving up a ton of rushing yards, they're giving up a ton of passing yards. All it takes is for one team, the way Oregon did, to take advantage of that and turn yardage into points. Purdue was not that team! Aidan O'Connell balled out, going 40/52 for 390 yards, 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions against a struggling Buckeyes defense. The running attack averaged 4.8 yards per carry on 19 carries, but had to abandon it completely being down by so much, so soon. It was the costly mistakes that were self-inflicted that made this one a snoozer from the jump, though, and those mistakes, in my opinion, will not be made when Ohio State comes to the Big House in Ann Arbor. The Boilermakers shanked a punt terribly early in the game, fumbled on a handoff, and could not jump on a kickoff, allowing OSU to pounce all over them not even two quarters into things. Here is my reaction to the performance of both teams in this matchup.

Ohio State Buckeyes vs Nebraska Cornhuskers Postgame Fan Reaction - SQUEAKIN' BY, BUCKEYES
Ohio State Buckeyes vs Nebraska Cornhuskers Postgame Fan Reaction - SQUEAKIN' BY, BUCKEYES

Ohio State Buckeyes vs Nebraska Cornhuskers Postgame Fan Reaction and man- are the Buckeyes squeakin' by lately, or what? C.J. Stroud put up a lot of yardage in this one (405 to be exact) and threw the rock A LOT (54 times). 2 of those throws went for touchdowns, but another 2 went for interceptions. He'll want to clear that up quickly before he plays teams who are more capable of taking advantage of that than Nebraska is. Jaxon Smith-Njigba led the way for the Ohio State receiving core with an outstanding 15 catches for 240 yards and 1 touchdown. Chris Olave added another touchdown, 7 receptions and 61 yards, and TreVeyon Henderson hauled in 6 balls out of the backfield for 44 yards to go along with his 21 carries for 92 yards. It was Nebraska's Special Teams unit that really hurt them in this one. Chase Contreraz went just 1/3 on his field goals and made it to where the last drive for the Cornhuskers was pointless in terms of having a shot to win this one (which undoubtedly would have been Scott Frost's biggest during his career as Nebraska's Head Coach). Samori Toure did all he could to help Huskers Football out, catching 4 balls for 150 yards and 1 long touchdown of 72 yards. However, the man throwing him the ball, Adrian Martinez, was okay...but not at his best (16/31 for 248 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 interception). All in all, there was a lot to like out of Nebraska Football's play. They hung in there, played excellent defense (holding Ohio State's prolific offense to just 26 points), and making big plays on both sides of the ball. However, in the end, and much like the rest of the season, they were unable to make the clutch plays when they needed to the most.

EVERYTHING IS ON THE LINE FOR HARBAUGH - Michigan Wolverines vs Indiana Postgame Fan Reaction
EVERYTHING IS ON THE LINE FOR HARBAUGH - Michigan Wolverines vs Indiana Postgame Fan Reaction

Everything is going to be on the line for Jim Harbaugh this week against the Penn State Nittany Lions, but first let's give my postgame fan reaction to the Michigan Wolverines vs Indiana Hoosiers football game. The Wolverines won the game 29-7 in a dominant defensive performance. David Ojabo had another stellar day clogging up rushing lanes and putting pressure on the Hoosiers quarterback. Donaven McCulley went just 10/24 for 88 yards and averaged only 3.5 yards per completion against this Mike Macdonald led squad. The Hoosiers rushed for only 107 yards on 35 carries (3.1 yards per carry) as a team. Offensively, Cade McNamara had another efficient but average day, going 10/18 for 168 yards, 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. J.J. McCarthy went 5/10 for 55 yards, 0 touchdowns and 1 interception. Hassan Haskins stole the day for Michigan football with Blake Corum going out early to a leg injury. Haskins carried the ball 27 times for 168 yards (6.2 yards per carry) and 1 touchdown. Cornelius Johnson led all receivers with 5 catches for 108 yards. It'll be a test for both James Franklin and Jim Harbaugh next week. Both coaches have heard talks of their seats heating up, so this will be a huge game for each side. The Nittany Lions open the week as 1-point favorites at home.

Ohio State Buckeyes vs Indiana Hoosiers Postgame Fan Reaction (ANOTHER BUCKEYE BLOWOUT!)
Ohio State Buckeyes vs Indiana Hoosiers Postgame Fan Reaction (ANOTHER BUCKEYE BLOWOUT!)

Ohio State Buckeyes vs Indiana Hoosiers Postgame Fan Reaction and wow, did we just witness another Buckeye blowout, or what? CJ Stroud made short work of the Hoosiers defense and rested the second half away after going 21/28 for 266 yards and 4 touchdowns (0 interceptions). Jaxon Smith-Njigba led the way on the receiving end with 6 catches for 99 yards and Garrett Wilson added another 5 for 59. TreVeyon did his thing as always on the ground with 9 carries for 81 yards and 2 touchdowns and Miyan Williams complemented things with 8 carries, 60 yards and 1 touchdown of his own. Defensively, Ryan Day's squad made life hard for Indiana's quarterback Jack Tuttle. Tuttle went just 4/7 for 41 yards and 1 touchdown and the Hoosiers threw for just 80 yards total. The rushing game struggled mightily with only 48 yards on 37 carries (1.3 yards per carry). Ty Fryfogle caught just 1 pass for 30 yards as the Buckeye defense hounded the Indiana wide receivers all game long. The Buckeyes host Penn State next week off of a disappoint loss for the Nittany Lions (20-18 to the Illinois Illini). This is the same week as the Michigan vs Michigan State matchup and it figures to be a big one in the Big Ten East race.

Michigan Wolverines vs Nebraska Cornhuskers Postgame Fan Reaction (The REAL 1997 CHAMPIONS Prevail). Hassan Haskins ran for 123 yards on 21 carries and 2 touchdowns and Blake Corum added another 89 yards and 1 touchdown on 13 carries as Michigan escaped Lincoln, NE with a win on Saturday night. Cade McNamara was his usual, reliable self. Nothing too flashy, but the job got done with his 22/38 for 255 yards night. Daylen Baldwin led the way for the Wolverines receivers with 6 receptions for 64 yards. Nebraska overcame a 13-0 halftime deficit and had a chance to win late in the fourth quarter before Brad Hawkins caused Adrian Martinez to fumble and Michigan got the football in Cornhusker territory. It was unfortunate for Martinez because he was excellent on the night outside of that blunder. He went 18/28 for 291 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. Rahmir Johnson was his go to man with 6 receptions for 105 yards and 1 touchdown out the backfield. He also ran the ball 17 times for 67 yards. It wasn't enough, though, as Jim Harbaugh's team showed resiliency down the stretch to get the tough win before the bye week.

Ohio State Buckeyes vs Maryland Terrapins Postgame Fan Reaction (The BUCKEYES Look DANGEROUS)

Ohio State Buckeyes vs Maryland Terrapins Postgame Fan Reaction (The BUCKEYES Look DANGEROUS). It was a valiant effort for both sides of the ball for the Buckeyes, as they won in dominant fashion 66-17. CJ Stroud went 24/33 for 406 yards, 5 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Chris Olave caught 7 balls for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns, Jaxon Smith-Njigba hauled in 5 receptions for 103 yards, and Garrett Wilson received 5 times for 84 yards and 2 touchdowns. TreVeyon Henderson did work on the ground with 16 carries for 102 yards and 2 touchdowns, and the defense only allowed 1.6 yards per carry against the Terps, forcing Taulia Tagovailoa to have to try to win it on his own through the air (in which he was unsuccessful). Since the early season loss to the Oregon Ducks, Ohio State has seemingly figured things out and has improved to 5-1. They are slowly but surely starting to get back into the discussion of being the 2021-2022 National Champions for college football.

How Michigan & Ohio State Fans Watched Week Five College Football Games (2021). Week 5 was full of fun and some surprises. Luckily for Michigan Football, they were able to fend off a fiesty Wisconsin Badgers team in the second half to win comfortably, while Ohio State took care of business against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Here's how fans of these teams watched not only their games, but the rest of the Week Five action in college football.
