The ChessBase India Originals between Anish Giri and Vidit Gujrathi will take place on the 26th of July 2022. It will be a fight unto the end with one of the two world class GMs triumphing. What is the schedule of this stream? 5 p.m. - the death match show begins 5.20 p.m. - the exhibition match between Samay + Vaibhav vs Biswa + Joel begins (10+0) 5.55 p.m. - Entry of Anish Giri and Vidit Gujrathi 6 p.m. - Death Match begins SEGMENT 1 - ORIGINALS (6 p.m.) Blindfold Game - (7+10) Rapid Game - (7+2) No Castle Chess - (7+2) Chess960 - (7+2) 3 minute break after each game and a 5 minute break after segment 1. SEGMENT 2 - 1 hour of blitz (7.30 p.m.) Both players will play games of 4+2 blitz for 1 hour 1 minute break after every game 3 minute break at midway mark 5 minute break at the end of segment 2. SEGMENT 3 - 30 minutes of bullet (8.45 p.m.) Both players will play games of 1+2 bullet for 30 mins. 1 minute break after each game. SEGMENT 4 - Armageddon (if needed) (9.30 p.m.) White will get 5 minutes, Black will have 4 minutes and have draw odds. The player who has scored the first win in the death match will determine, the colour he wants in the Armageddon. PRIZE FUND: Winner takes home Rs. 5 lakh, the runner-up Rs.3 lakh. COMMENTATORS and TEAM: Samay Raina, Sagar Shah and Amruta Mokal will be the hosts of the show. Robert Hess will be the coach of Anish and Vedika Gujrathi will be the coach of Vidit. We will have a crowd of over 900 people at the venue in the Dublin Square, Phoenix MarketCity Mumbai. The stage will be made like a boxing ring. The event will also be streamed live on YouTube. India won their first match with Ukraine in the Quarter Finals of the Online Olympiad 2021 with a score of 4-2. However, the team shockingly slumped to a defeat in match 2. It meant that blitz tiebreaks had to be played! It was at this moment that Adhiban was called to play for the country! When so much depends on your game, it is natural to feel stressed, isn't it?
