Novak Djokovic's family gives press conference after Australia court win – watch live
Novak Djokovic was expected to join a press conference given by his family via video link after an Australian Federal court ordered the government to release the tennis star following his detainment for visa issues around his vaccination status. Djokovic did not attend, but his mother, Dijana, said: “This is his biggest win in his career, it is bigger than any grand slam.” She also criticised the treatment of her son in a “so-called hotel” in Melbourne. Djordje Djokovic said his brother had gone immediately back to the tennis court to renew training as he pursues a 10th Australian Open title. Child lifted metres into the air by giant kite at Taiwan festival
Footage shows a girl, 3, in Taiwan being lifted high into the air after becoming entangled in the strings of a kite. The unidentified girl was taking part in a kite festival on Sunday in the seaside town of Nanliao when she was hoisted several metres into the air by the giant, long-tailed orange kite. News reports said the girl was frightened but suffered no physical injuries in the incident.
