Jackson finished second in a fast race at the Diamond League meeting in Brussels last time out, clocking a time of 21.95 seconds, the second-fastest in her career. On that day, the 27-year-old was defeated by Olympic silver medalist Christine Mboma, who will compete again at the Weltklasse Zurich meeting and will start as the favorite. The Namibian teenager who won in Brussels in 21.84 seconds has four sub-22 second times this season and is ranked fourth in the world in 2021, while Jackson is ranked fifth this season with a PB of 21.82sec. On Thursday, world champion Dina Asher-Smith of the United Kingdom will compete in the women's 200m at the 2021 Weltklasse Zurich meeting in Switzerland, alongside Ivory Coast sprinter Marie-Josée Ta Lou, Namibia's Beatrice Masilingi, and Swiss darling Mujinga Kambundji.
