Man United player Facundo Pellistri, on loan at Alaves is injured, a fibrillar tear injury on Sunday forcing him out of the field in their match against Celta Vigo... He is also expected to miss the upcoming Derby match on Saturday. He's suffered injury this in his left muscle, a tear in the muscle. Alaves has reported that the injury isn't so serious as the name may sound. He will continue to receive regular day to day treatment. "Pellistri will follow a conservative treatment and his evolution on a day-to-day basis will determine his availability to join the group".It is not known how quick he will recover and join his team mates but there is an assurance that severity of this injury isn't a concern, he is likely to return to the field soon. He is really doing well in his loan spell though his side struggling with relegation, bottom of the league, the youngster gives his best whenever he features. Manchester United will expect Pellistri to be fit for pre-season after the league ends. That's the best time to give him the oppportunity to prove himself, if he will be on another loan trip next season, a more competitive team will be reasonable, for Alaves, escaping relegation at this point require a lot of fight. Pogba's only goal on the 48th minute was enough to push the reds to the next round. It was a fairly even game, both sides had to put it their all but in the end its the team which utilise their chances. Standout performers I think Luke,Maguire,Lindelof , Henderson, I mean the back did really well to prevent AC from scoring. And then obviously midfield maestro Paul Pogba who came from the bench to bail us at San Siro. So here are the team that are still in the competition.United,Granada,Dinamo Zagreb,Arsenal,Roma,Slavia Prague,Villarreal and then Ajax. These teams arnt teams Man United should be afraid to face, on any given, United should walk past any of these teams with ease. I'm very confident on this, we've actually garnered positive result from seemingly stiffer opponents this season and there isn't any single reason to be weary of meeting any of these teams. We past the quarter finals last season and I believe this time round we can easily pass it to the semis,finals and then lift the trophy ? Once again, its another opportunity for Ole to win his first ever trophy for United. You may be grinding results and the team may seem to be doing ok but in the end, when you leave the club, the common question will be ...How many trophies did he win? That time no one will remember your winning streaks or other juicy stats. Trophies are what matter so we hope he delivers for United. We only have Europa and the FA Cup, winning either of these and finishing 2nd wouldnt be that bad for us, considering how we started this season. So yeah, we are through to the quarter finals. Take a look at the standings so far; Still City maintains the 10 league gap; seriously on some serious form; United still on the second position and edging Leicester City on goal difference, for points we are at par with the foxes on 49. Now one incident which got many fans reacting is got to be Manchester United's third choice goalkeeper Lee Grant taking the role of the 4th official by holding the substitution board in the second half and doing the job by himself. This role could be assumed by the coaching staff on the bench but with the absence of several coaching staff. Mike Phelan, Mckena and Michael Carrick, 38 year old Lee Grant was promoted to take the coaching role for the evening. So this is why he took charge of the substitution for Shola Shortire who had his senior debut after his first professional contract, Juan Mata and also Mason Greenwood. Lee Grant joined United in 2018 under Mourihno on 1.5m pounds and has since made just 2 appearances for the red devils. One coming from the League cup, that's his debut and the other from the Europa last season. The 28 year old is now on the verge of completing West Ham move after being axed from the squad by Ole.Lingard has featured in just 2 cup games this season under the Norwegian, one coming from the FA cup and the other from the EFL cup. After long conversations between Ole and Lingard, the manager has agreed to let the attacking midfielder leave on loan at least for the rest of the season to get the opportunity to play week in week out. David Moyes' West Ham are currently leading the race to sign Lingard on loan as it stands. The decision would be made in the coming days. Manchester United had Lindelof and Virgil Van Dijk in 2017 but opted to sign the former, Charlie Austin reveals. Reflecting on the transfer saga back then, Austin said "I sat there and was like ‘Virg lad, what’s going on? Surely Manchester United must have been in for you? Massive club in England etc". Amad Diallo's debut Amad Diallo vs Liverpool Manchester United vs Liverpool #LIVMUN Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solsjaer has refused to rule out Amad Diallo's inclusion in the squad to face Liverpool on Sunday. Ole was interviewed by a Norwegian media outlet by name Dagbladet...He says it is possible Amad Diallo could be included in the matchday squad and cannot rule that decision out:: Let me quote exactly what Ole said in his interview with Dagbladet "We have a very fresh stable, there are only one or two that are questionable for the weekend. I do not rule out that he is in the squad for the Liverpool match. " He continued "Things can happen. You see how fast things happen over here in England. Suddenly, a team has six players out with the corona. So you do not know. I do not want to put any time on it, but he is at least in the group, trains with us and can be chosen in the squad.". So this is what Ole said concerning Diallo. There is a 50-50 chance here. Bruno Fernandes has revealed how he don't fancy players,teammates or friends who are "yes men" because he is not one. He loves to be criticised because he critises people a lot. The midfielder believes this is what builds a team and wants that in the United camp.
