Liam Leonard - #7 Acadie-Bathurst
Liam Leonard is an 18 year old rookie with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan. He failed to earn a spot on a QMJHL roster his first two seasons but is having an impact on the Titan lineup this year, 5th in team scoring and leading the team in penalty minutes. Charlottetown native Thomas Casey has been a key player in the Charlottetown Islanders lineup. The 2nd year 18 year old forward is one of the quickest players on the team and has an offensive touch as well. Theo Rochette - Chicoutimi 1st round pick
Theo Rochette was drafted 7th overall by the Chicoutimi Saguneens at the 2018 QMJHL draft. The European born skater has dual citizenship and the 16 year old is in his first season in the CHL. 19 year old Derek Gentile was acquired by the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles and the dividends are paying off. The Sydney native scores two goals (70 seconds apart) in the 1st period Friday propelling Cape Breton to a 5-1 winover the Sea Sogs at Harbour Station. Here are the two goal. Dawson Stairs makes Sea Dogs debut
Dawson Stairs is a 16 year old forward drafted in the 7th round of the 2018 QMJHL draft by the Saint John Sea Dogs. He had college intentions which preented many teams freom selecting him earlier in the draft. He is with South Kent U16 Selects this season but is eligible to play in 6 games with the Sea Dogs. The Fredericton native made his debut Wednesday against the Titan and picked up his first point, an assist Friday against Drummondville. John Moore caught up with the talented forward.
