Brett Budgell is a prospect for the 2019 NHL Draft and 17 year old is in his 2nd season with the Charlottetown Islanders of the QMJHJL. The St John's Nfld native joined the Islanders at Christmas last season after departing from the USHL. Budgell is currently ranked a C play by NHL Central Scouting but as of November is trneding upward. Noah Dobson is an 18 year old defenceman with Acadie-Bathurst Titan of the QMJHL. He may be the first North American defenceman selected at the 2018 NHL Draft in Dallas, Texas. Dobson has steadily climbed up the rankings during the 2017/18 season and he is a key part of the Titan drive to reach the Memorial Cup.
