A particularly painful defeat to a 94th minute penalty, where the tackle clearly occurred outside the box. The usually reliable Liam Brooks missed an earlier penalty for Hendon who deserved a minimum of a point from the long trip.
HENDON 3-2 POOLE TOWN - Highlights 22 January 2022
An entertaining match saw Hendon win 3-2 after being pegged back when taking a 2-0 half-time lead. Goals from Joe White (2) and Liam Brooks plus a man of the match display from keeper Fred Burbidge ensured the points remained in north London. A fantastic turnout from the Hendon Youth teams made it a great occasion for all associated with the club.

In the annual Dermot Drummy match, it was so good to see many ex-Hendon players in attendance to pay tribute to the great man. Steve spoke with Colin Tait, Gary Keen and Erskine Smart before the match. In the match itself, Hendon ended up with 9 players - the Joe White sending off I still can't work out - and ended up losing 2-0.
