However, it was a game that we still could and should have got something from. Two brief lapses in concentration from the Blues cost us today and Boro were there to pounce, with Assombalonga chipping Lee Camp for to seal all three points. On a positive note, Isaac Vassell played made his first appearance from Birmingham City for 14 months after his injury against the Villa in 2017. He looks fresh, hungry, and ready to make up for lost time - feels like a new signing! He will have his work cut out for him though if he wants to start, as Che Adams and Juke continued their impressive form. Che bagging his 13th goal of the season pretty much out of nothing.
