Nevada Pierre made headlines after an i9 Sports match in Winter Park, Florida—where he was dominating against 5-year-olds—ended in a heated controversy that resulted in police officers being called to the park. Following the league's decision to refund his registration fees and remove him from the program, Nevada's mother, Martasia Griffin, launched a GoFundMe campaign to support her son's athletic development. What started with a modest goal rapidly skyrocketed as more than $45,000 was raised to fund his coaching, elite training gear, and future program enrollments. Beyond financial backing, former USMNT star Eddie Johnson has offered to personally train the prodigy, while thousands of supporters continue to share his viral videos online.
