No. 20 on the #BigSky50 Greatest Male Athletes list - Eastern Washington's Bo Levi Mitchell. Two men in the world can claim a Big Sky Championship, a national championship, and a Walter Payton Award. Montana's Dave Dickenson won all three in 1995. The other, Eastern Washington's Bo Levi Mitchell, led his team to the 2010 Big Sky Championship, a national championship, and then won the Walter Payton Award in 2011. 2013 Brawl of the Wild: Montana at Montana State - Big Sky Football
Jordan Canada rushed for a pair of touchdowns as Montana beat Montana State 28-14 in the 113th Brawl of the Wild. Canada tied the game with a 7-yard run late in the second quarter. He added UM's final score on an 8-yard run with 1:49 remaining. UM QB Jordan Johnson threw for 250 yards and a 20-yard TD to tight end Clay Pierson. Montana State's Shawn Johnson returned a punt 82 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter to put the Bobcats up 7-0. He scored on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter. Montana State at Eastern Washington Highlights - Big Sky Football
Third-ranked Eastern Washington took over sole possession of first place of the Big Sky football standings with an impressive 54-29 win over No. 4 Montana State to highlight Saturday's action. Sophomore quarterback Vernon Adams completed 16-of-18 passes for 300 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 76 yards and a score as the Eagles moved to 6-0 in conference and 8-2 overall.
