STORRS, Conn. - The UConn men's basketball team earned its first Big East win of the season with a 82-61 victory over the DePaul Blue Demons Wednesday night at Gampel Pavilion. UConn (4-1, 1-1 BE) had three players finish the game in double figures, led by Tyrese Martin who finished the evening with 22 points and 10 boards. James Bouknight dropped in 20 points to go with four rebounds and three assist and Josh Carlton added a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds as well. Darious Hall paced the Blue Demons (1-2, 0-2 BE) with 14 points and 8 rebounds. #BleedBlue

STORRS, Conn. – Led by a spectacular 40-point performance from sophomore guard James Bouknight (Brooklyn, N.Y.), the UConn men's basketball team gave #9 Creighton all it could handle before bowing to the Bluejays, 76-74, in overtime Sunday afternoon at Gampel Pavilion. The game marked UConn's return to BIG EAST Conference play since rejoining the league this season and it was a gut-wrencher with 15 lead changes and eight ties. #BleedBlue

STORRS, Conn. - A balanced offensive attack featuring four double figure scorers helped lead UConn (2-0) to a twelve point victory over the Hartford Hawks Friday night at Gampel Pavilion. James Bouknight led the way with 18 points and four rebounds while Jalen Gaffney added 15 points of his own, which was a new career-high. R.J. Cole and Isaiah Whaley each chipped in 10 points to round out the quartet of double-digit scorers. Hartford was led by Moses Flowers, who dropped 24 points and pulled down seven rebounds in the losing effort.

UConn Football Takes Down UMass 56-35

The UConn football team rushed for 329 yards en route to a 56-35 victory on the road against UMass on Saturday afternoon. Kevin Mensah led the way for the Huskies with a career-high five rushing touchdowns on 19 carries for 164 yards. The junior is the first Husky to record five touchdowns since Wilbur Gilliard did it against James Madison during the 1993 season.
