Istanbul Basaksehir vs Manchester United 4/11/2020 Champions League

Don't forget to subscribe 🙏🙏 Basaksehir vs Manchester United Istanbul vs. Man Utd Nov 4, 2020 at 5.55pm UK Istanbul vs. Man Utd Build‑up Preview Football Preview: Istanbul Basaksehir vs. Manchester United - prediction, team news, lineups Manchester United switch focus back to the Champions League on Wednesday evening with a trip to Turkish champions Istanbul Basaksehir. The Red Devils have won both Group H matches so far and are six points better off than their opponents, who have lost their first two outings. Match preview United have made a superb start to their European campaign, having followed up a memorable 2-1 win away at Paris Saint-Germain with a thumping 5-0 home win against RB Leipzig. They are now looking to win their first three Champions League group games for a ninth time, with no team previously failing to qualify after accruing nine points from nine. However, while United have looked impressive on the continent, they have struggled in the Premier League and enter this match on the back of a 1-0 home loss to Arsenal. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted after Sunday's loss that his side simply failed to turn up, with the Gunners deservedly winning through a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang penalty. Seven points from their opening six games is United's worst return at this stage of a campaign since David Moyes's short spell in charge in 2013-14. There is no doubt that a response is now required in midweek, putting some unneeded pressure on this trip to the Fatih Terim Stadium. Basaksehir are hardly the most formidable of opponents - the Turkish club being one of three teams yet to score a goal in the competition along with FC Midtjylland and Marseille. Okan Buruk's men have lost by the same 2-0 scoreline to RB Leipzig and PSG in their first two matches, meaning that points are needed in their double-header with United. They did at least respond to the latest of those European setbacks with a 2-1 win at Konyaspor on Sunday, leaving them seventh in the Turkish Super Lig with seven games played. This will be Basaksehir's second meeting with an English club, having previously lost 1-0 on aggregate to Burnley in a 2018-19 Europa League qualifier. United have lost each of their last two away games against Turkish opponents in European competition, meanwhile - 1-0 to Galatasaray in 2012 and 2-1 to Fenerbahce in 2016. Istanbul Basaksehir Champions League form: LL Istanbul Basaksehir form (all competitions): WWLWLW Manchester United Champions League form: WW Manchester United form (all competitions): LWWDWL Team News This trip to Istanbul is sandwiched by Premier League meetings with Arsenal and Everton, so Solskjaer is likely to make the most of the opportunity to rotate his side. That could mean Dean Henderson coming in for his first Champions League appearance in place of David de Gea, while Edinson Cavani - still not quite fully fit - is an option up top. Axel Tuanzebe was brilliant in the win over PSG but has played just nine minutes as a substitute since then, though he may get the nod at centre-back in midweek. There has been plenty of talk surrounding United's midfield options in recent weeks, and it may be a case of Nemanja Matic and Donny van de Beek coming in to fresh things up. As for Basaksehir, they have named the second oldest average starting XI in the Champions League this term (29 years and 310 days), behind only Olympiacos. Experience is certainly not lacking, then, and they boast some talented former Premier League players in their ranks such as Nacer Chadli, Demba Ba and Martin Skrtel. Chadli is carrying an injury and is not expected to play any part against United, however, and Nigerian midfielder Azubuike Okechukwu is also doubtful. Istanbul Basaksehir possible starting lineup: Gunok; Rafael, Skrtel, Epureanu, Bolingoli-Mbombo; Topal; Visca, Ozcan, Kahveci, Turuc; Crivelli Manchester United possible starting lineup: Henderson; Wan-Bissaka, Tuanzebe, Lindelof, Shaw; Pogba, Van de Beek, Matic; Greenwood, Cavani, Martial We say: Istanbul Basaksehir 0-2 Manchester United Basaksehir have yet to collect a point from their two Champions League matches and, while they will certainly be up for this huge game, they lack the quality of their opponents. United will be looking to respond to their disappointing defeat to Arsenal and this seems like the ideal kind of fixture to regain some momentum ahead of a tough trip to Everton. Rapid Vienna vs Arsenal 22/10/2020 Europa League
Rapid Vienna vs Arsenal 22/10/2020 Europa League

Don't forget to subscribe 🙏❤ Rapid vs. Arsenal Oct 22, 2020 at 5.55pm UK Rapid Vienna vs. Football Preview: Rapid Vienna vs. Arsenal - prediction, team news, lineups Arsenal begin their latest Europa League adventure with a trip to Rapid Vienna on Thursday, aiming to improve on last season's disappointing early exit. The Gunners crashed out at the first knockout stage last time out but are among the favourites to go all the way this time, though this could be a tricky opening test for them. Match preview Mikel Arteta admitted to being "hurt" by Arsenal's shock loss to Olympiacos in last season's last 32, with Youssef El Arabi scoring late in extra time to seal a dramatic victory. This is now Arsenal's fourth attempt at trying to win the Europa League, having previously reached the semi-finals and finished runners-up in 2018 and 2019 respectively. The Gunners will be taking the competition seriously, too, although as ever the early rounds can often be a distraction from the bigger target - a top-four finish in the league. Arsenal have made a good start to their season, winning three and losing two of their opening five league games, albeit with two of those defeats coming in their last three games. That includes a slender 1-0 loss to Manchester City last time out, leaving Arteta's men fifth in the table with nine points from a possible 15. With an EFL Cup quarter-final place already in the bag, focus now switches to the continent for the first time this season. As well as facing Rapid Vienna home and away, Arsenal will also take on Norwegian and Irish champions Molde and Dundalk over the next two months. Rapid boast plenty of experience in UEFA's secondary competition, with this their eighth campaign, reaching the knockout stages on two occasions previously - 2015-16 and 2018-19. The Green-Whites are also in the early stages of their campaign and enter this game on the back of three straight wins, most recently thrashing Wiener Neustadt 5-1 in the cup, though they did face the disappointment of losing to Gent in Champions League qualifying. After finishing second in the Austrian Bundesliga last season, the aim for Dietmar Kuhbauer this time around will be to finish above Red Bull Salzburg at the top of the pile. This will be Rapid's first meeting with Arsenal, although the Austrian side did beat Aston Villa 3-2 in a Europa League qualifying match nine years ago in their most recent meeting with an English side. Arsenal's last Austrian opponents were Austria Wien in the 1991-92 European Cup, meanwhile, winning that one 6-1 at home before losing 1-0 away. Rapid Vienna form (all competitions): WLDWWW Arsenal form (all competitions): WWLWWL Team News Summer signing Thomas Partey made his debut from the bench against Man City and is in contention to make his full debut here. There will be no Mesut Ozil or Sokratis Papastathopoulos as both players were left of Arsenal's Europa League squad. With Sunday's home league meeting with Leicester City likely taking priority, Arteta could turn to academy graduates Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nketiah and Joe Willock. Bukayo Saka, who was directly involved in more goals in the Europa League last season than any other Arsenal player, is expected to be given a breather. As for the home side, an unnamed player has tested positive for coronavirus in the build-up to the game and will therefore miss this match. However, he was not in close contact with any of his teammates so Kuhbauer still has pretty much a full-strength squad to choose from. Taxiarchis Fountas has four goals in four league appearances this season and is one to watch for Rapid. Rapid Vienna possible starting lineup: Strebinger; Stojkovic, Hofmann, Barac; Arase, Grahovac, Ljubicic, Ullmann; Murg, Kara, Fountas Arsenal possible starting lineup: Runarsson; Luiz, Gabriel, Kolasinac; Cedric, Elneny, Partey, Maitland-Niles; Willock, Nketiah, Nelson We say: Rapid Vienna 1-2 Arsenal Rapid Vienna have won four home games in a row in all competitions, whereas Arsenal are winless inside 90 minutes in their last three away games, losing two of those. However, the Gunners were unbeaten in their four away matches in the Europa League last term and, even accounting for some rotation, we can see them prevailing at the Allianz Stadion. Leicester City vs Arsenal 23/9/2020 Carabao Cup
Leicester City vs Arsenal 23/9/2020 Carabao Cup

Don't forget to subscribe 🙏 Preview: Leicester City vs. Arsenal - prediction, team news, lineups Leicester City and Arsenal face off in the pick of the EFL Cup third-round ties at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday evening. The winner of the all-Premier League affair will take on either Lincoln City or Liverpool next week for a place in the quarter-finals. Match preview Leicester and Arsenal have both made impressive starts to their Premier League campaigns by winning two games from two. The Foxes, who somehow missed out on a top-four finish last season after badly drifting away, have defeated West Bromwich Albion and Burnley to top the table. Arsenal have seen off Fulham and West Ham United in their opening two fixtures, meanwhile, having also edged out Liverpool on penalties in the Community Shield. Mikel Arteta's side required a late Eddie Nketiah goal to shake off West Ham, while Leicester recovered from a goal down to overcome Burnley at the weekend. Focus now switches to the domestic cup and the chance to continue building some momentum in the opening month of a campaign unlike any other. This will be just the third time Leicester and Arsenal have met in the EFL Cup, sharing a win apiece in those previous two encounters. Avoiding defeat at Leicester is not something Arsenal have done a lot of in recent times, though, losing each of their last three games at the King Power Stadium in all competitions. The Foxes have lost just one of their last 14 games in the competition, meanwhile, in a run that has seen them reach at least the quarter-finals in each of the last three campaigns. That is an impressive record, but one that Arsenal can better - they have progressed past this stage of the EFL Cup in 16 of the last 17 seasons, failing only in 2014-15 against Southampton. Arteta has already won two trophies in his nine months in North London, though it remains to be seen just how seriously he will take the EFL Cup, with a trip to Premier League champions Liverpool to come next weekend. Similarly, Leicester face a tricky trip to Manchester City four days after this showdown with Arsenal, so Brendan Rodgers will likely rotate his squad between matches. If that is the case, it could well come down to who boasts the better squad depth between these two in-form sides. Leicester City form (all competitions): WW Arsenal form (all competitions): WWW Team News Mesut Ozil has not been part of Arsenal's matchday squad for their first two games back, but the playmaker is not carrying an injury and may be in Arteta's thoughts here. Arteta has plenty of other attacking options, however, including the likes of Nicolas Pepe, Joe Willock and Nketiah, who deserves a start after his late winner versus West Ham. Dijon goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson has been tipped to join ahead of Wednesday's match and could be in line for a swift debut, but Matt Macey is otherwise standing by. Leicester confirmed the arrival of Cengiz Under from Roma on Sunday and he could make his first appearance in this one, though Demarai Gray and Marc Albrighton are also pushing for starts. Kelechi Iheanacho, another who will be keen to get the nod, has been involved in 11 goals in 14 EFL Cup appearances for the Foxes. Jonny Evans is still not available for the hosts, so a combination of Wes Morgan and Caglar Soyuncu is likely at the back. Leicester City possible starting lineup: Ward; Justin, Morgan, Soyuncu, Thomas; Choudhury, Mendy; Gray, Maddison, Albrighton; Iheanacho Arsenal possible starting lineup: Macey; Cedric, Saliba, Luiz, Holding, Kolasinac; Elneny, Guendouzi; Pepe, Nketiah, Saka We say: Leicester City 1-2 Arsenal Arsenal are winless in their last three games against Leicester and have lost three in a row at the King Power Stadium. However, with both teams expected to rotate for this midweek cup tie, we can see the Gunners' squad depth telling in a narrow away victory. FC Bayern München vs Schalke 04 18/9/2020 Bundesliga
FC Bayern München vs Schalke 04 18/9/2020 Bundesliga

Don't forget to subscribe🙏🙏 Preview: Bayern Munich vs. Schalke 04 - prediction, team news, lineups Champions Bayern Munich will get the 2020-21 Bundesliga campaign underway on Friday evening with a clash against Schalke 04 at the Allianz Arena. Bayern lifted their 30th top-flight title last season and will be looking to continue their dominance of German football this term, while Schalke will be determined to improve on a disappointing 2019-20. Match preview Bayern again proved to be far too strong for the rest of the competition last season, claiming 82 points from their 34 Bundesliga matches to finish at the summit, 13 points clear of second-placed Borussia Dortmund. The Munich giants have now won the Bundesliga in each of the last eight seasons, but the 2019-20 campaign proved to be even more special as they also won the German Cup and Champions League to make it a famous treble. A 1-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain on August 23 saw them lift the European Cup, capping off a brilliant campaign for the club, who have won their last 13 Bundesliga matches and are unbeaten in the league since a 2-1 defeat at Borussia Monchengladbach at the start of December. The quick turnaround is far from ideal, but Bayern will be determined to start their new league season with a victory before switching their attention to the UEFA Super Cup, which sees them take on Europa League winners Sevilla on September 24. Hansi Flick's team will be able to call upon Leroy Sane this season, but Ivan Perisic and Philippe Coutinho have both returned to Inter Milan and Barcelona respectively, while there are question marks over the futures of both David Alaba and Thiago Alcantara with the transfer window still open. As for Schalke, there is no getting away from the fact that it was a disappointing 2019-20 campaign for the club as they finished down in 12th spot in the table. The Royal Blues actually finished second in 2017-18 but have struggled over the last couple of years, going from a Champions League club to a side struggling to make the top half of the table. A new season brings new opportunities, though, and it would certainly be a huge step in the right direction if they could pick up all three points against the champions on Friday night. It has been a relatively quiet transfer window for David Wagner's side, but they have lost key midfielder Weston McKennie to Juventus, while Alexander Nubel and Daniel Caligiuri have also moved on. Bayern Munich Bundesliga form (end of 2019-20): WWWWWW Schalke 04 Bundesliga form (end of 2019-20): LDDLLL Team News Sane is in line to make his Bayern debut against his former club on Friday night, and the 24-year-old will be determined to impress as he prepares to pull on the famous jersey for the first time. Kingsley Coman is a doubt, having been forced to quarantine at home after a coronavirus scare, meaning that Sane should join Thomas Muller, Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry in attack. Alaba is also expected to play despite the speculation surrounding his future, but Thiago is likely to drop out with Joshua Kimmich being moved from right-back into midfield, allowing fit-again Benjamin Pavard to start. New signing Tanguy Kouassi will miss out for the champions due to a thigh problem. Schalke, meanwhile, will be without Salif Sane due to a knee injury, but the visitors otherwise have a fully-fit squad heading into the clash in Munich. Matija Nastasic should shake off a knock to start on Friday, while there could be a debut in the final third for Vedad Ibisevic, who has joined on a free transfer from Hertha Berlin. Mark Uth and Amine Harit should also feature for Schalke in forward positions, while Sebastian Rudy, who spent last season on loan with Hoffenheim, is set to face his former club. Bayern Munich possible starting lineup: Neuer; Pavard, Sule, Alaba, Davies; Kimmich, Goretzka; Gnabry, Muller, Sane; Lewandowski Schalke 04 possible starting lineup: Fahrmann; Rudy, Kabak, Nastasic, Oczipka; Serdar, Stambouli, Bentaleb; Harit, Uth, Ibisevic We say: Bayern Munich 3-0 Schalke 04 Schalke have not won a Bundesliga game since January and really struggled after the lockdown period. Bayern, on the other hand, have proved very, very difficult to stop. As a result, is tough to predict anything other than a comfortable home victory for the treble winners.
