Aston Villa vs Arsenal 6/2/2021 Premier League

Don't forget to subscribe 🙏🙏 Premier League, weekmatch 22 Feb 6, 2021 at 12.30pm UK Aston Villa vs. Arsenal Preview Football Preview: Aston Villa vs. Arsenal - prediction, team news, lineups Aston Villa and Arsenal will both be aiming to bounce back from demoralising defeats in midweek when they kick off Premier League gameweek 23 at Villa Park on Saturday lunchtime. Match preview Smith's men have only taken maximum points from two of their last seven matches in the Premier League and now find themselves six points adrift of West Ham in fifth, but something has to give when seventh-placed Tottenham Hotspur take on eighth-placed Chelsea on Thursday, so a win for Villa over Arsenal would see them leapfrog at least one of those teams depending on the outcome of that London derby. Smith's loyalty to a small crop of regular first-team players could end up proving costly as fatigue sets in - the likes of Ross Barkley and John McGinn did not produce their most fruitful performances against West Ham - and the Villa boss will be expected to shuffle the pack against an Arsenal side who also have a point to prove. David Luiz giving away penalties and being brandished from the field of play is nothing new, but the Brazilian had every right to feel hard done by against Wolves in midweek. Mikel Arteta's men were well on top and took a deserved lead through Nicolas Pepe's opener, but Luiz was adjudged to have fouled Willian Jose in the area on the stroke of half time, and the former Chelsea man was given a straight red card for the third time as an Arsenal player before Ruben Neves slotted home. There was no air of controversy surrounding Joao Moutinho's spectacular winner in the second half, and any hopes of an Arsenal comeback were quickly dashed when Bernd Leno handled outside the area and was also given his marching orders. Several Gunners players took to social media to voice their dismay after the match, with Luiz labelling his sending off as "unbelievable", but Arteta's men cannot afford to feel sorry for themselves and must aim to get back on track straight away. The visitors had strung together a seven-game unbeaten run in the top flight - five wins and two draws - before their torrid evening at Molineux, but that defeat has seen them slump to 10th in the table and they are now nine points adrift of the Champions League places. Arteta's men could potentially rise as high as seventh with a win depending on Thursday's result, although that scenario is highly unlikely given Spurs' and Chelsea's superior goal difference, and Villa have come out on top in the last two meetings between the two clubs. Aston Villa Premier League form: LLWLWL Aston Villa form (all competitions): LLWLWL Arsenal Premier League form: WDWWDL Arsenal form (all competitions): DWLWDL Team News Villa only have two injury concerns in the form of Wesley and Kortney Hause, but it would be a surprise not to see Smith make some alterations amid a taxing schedule. The hosts hauled off Anwar El Ghazi for Bertrand Traore at half time against West Ham and the latter should start out wide here, while new arrival Morgan Sanson could feature from the first whistle over Barkley. Jack Grealish notched up his 12th assist of the top-flight campaign with his delightful pass for Watkins's goal on Wednesday - no player in the top flight has set up more goals than the 25-year-old this season. With Leno suspended for Arsenal and Mat Ryan nursing a hip problem, Runar Alex Runarsson could make his first Premier League start for the club at Villa Park. Luiz will be replaced in the heart of defence by Gabriel Magalhaes, who will hope to force his way back into the first team on a regular basis from now on, but Arteta conceded that Kieran Tierney "was not close at all" to being ready for the Wolves game. The Arsenal boss has a huge call to make on the left-hand side with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang now back in action, but Pepe has stepped up his game in recent weeks and it would be extremely harsh to drop him. FC Barcelona vs Athletic Bilbao 17/1/2021 Super Cup

Don't forget to subscribe 🙏🙏 Barcelona vs Athletic Bilbao Jan 17, 2021 at 8pm UK Barcelona vs. Athletic Bilbao Preview Football Preview: Barcelona vs. Athletic Bilbao - prediction, team news, lineups Barcelona will be attempting to win the Spanish Super Cup for the 14th time in their history when they take on Athletic Bilbao in the final of the competition on Sunday night. Ronald Koeman's side beat Real Sociedad on penalties to advance to the final, while Athletic were surprise winners over Real Madrid, recording a 2-1 victory over the holders on Thursday. Match preview Barca will enter Sunday's final as the favourites, and the Catalan outfit, as mentioned, will be bidding to lift the trophy for the 14th time in their history, reclaiming the crown from Real Madrid in the process. Koeman's side were given a tough examination by Sociedad in Wednesday's semi-final but managed to triumph on penalties when the two teams could not be separated in normal play. Barca are now on a run of nine games unbeaten in all competitions, while they have not lost a domestic match since the start of December, with things starting to turn for the club. The Catalan giants still have a lot of work to do in La Liga if they are to be considered challengers for the title as they sit seven points off leaders Atletico Madrid, who have two games in hand. Koeman will be determined to lift his first trophy as Barca boss this weekend, but Athletic, having ensured that there would not be another El Clasico, will enter the contest full of confidence. Many expected Madrid and Barca to lock horns in Sunday's final, but Athletic had not read the script, with the Basque outfit triumphing courtesy of a 2-1 victory in Malaga. Raul Garcia scored a brace for Marcelino's side, and Los Blancos could not force a late equaliser despite halving the deficit through Karim Benzema in the 73rd minute of the contest. The Lions have won the Spanish Super Cup on two previous occasions, the last of which came in 2015, when they incredibly beat Barca 5-1 on aggregate, including a 4-0 victory in the first leg at San Mames. Athletic's last league match was actually against Koeman's side on January 6, and an entertaining match finished 3-2 to the Catalan outfit, with the result leaving Marcelino's side down in 12th position in the table. The fact that Barca have had 24 hours more to prepare for this contest could make a huge difference, but Los Leones will have their eyes on a quickfire double over the two biggest clubs in Spain. Barcelona Supercopa de Espana form: WLLWLW Barcelona form (all competitions): WDWWWW Athletic Bilbao Supercopa de Espana form: LLWDW Athletic Bilbao form (all competitions): WDLWLW Team News Barca will again be without the services of Philippe Coutinho, Gerard Pique, Sergi Roberto and Ansu Fati through injury, but Lionel Messi could return from the hamstring issue that forced him to miss the semi-final. Sergino Dest was also left out of the XI against Sociedad due to a slight issue, but the summer arrival should return, taking the place of Oscar Mingueza in the process. Koeman is expected to resist the temptation to shuffle his pack on Sunday, meaning that Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele should retain their spots in attack, with Martin Braithwaite expected to be the player to drop out to allow Messi to return to the side. As for Athletic, Unai Lopez and Peru Nolaskoain remain unavailable for selection through injury, while Yuri Berchiche is still a doubt, meaning that Mikel Balenziaga should continue at left-back. It would not be a surprise to see Marcelino select the same XI that took to the field against Madrid, with Inaki Williams joining Raul Garcia in the final third, where there should also be spots for Iker Muniain and Oscar de Marcos in the wide positions. Mikel Vesga and Alex Berenguer are options for change in midfield, but Unai Vencedor should again get the nod alongside Dani Garcia in the middle of the park. Manchester United vs Watford 9/1/2021 The Emirates FA Cup

Don't forget to subscribe 🙏🙏 Jan 9, 2021, at 8pm UK at Old Trafford Manchester United vs Watford Preview: Manchester United vs. Watford - prediction, team news, lineups Manchester United will be looking to book their spot in the fourth round of this season's FA Cup when they welcome Championship side, Watford, to Old Trafford on Saturday night. The Red Devils, who won the last of their 12 FA Cups in 2016, suffered a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in the semi-finals of the EFL Cup on Wednesday, while Watford will enter the contest off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Swansea City in the Championship on January 2. Match preview United's recent form has been excellent, winning eight of their last 10 in the Premier League to rise into second position in the table, level on points with leaders Liverpool. The Red Devils will have the chance to move to the summit on Tuesday, ahead of the trip to Liverpool on January 17, as they play their game in hand against Burnley at Turf Moor. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side saw their EFL Cup challenge come to an end on Wednesday night, though, as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to bitter rivals Man City in the semi-finals of the competition. The league will take priority for United this season, but Solskjaer wants to deliver a trophy as soon as possible, and the FA Cup might arguably be the team's best chance of silverware this term. The 20-time English champions, as mentioned, have won this competition on 12 occasions, the last of which was in 2016; they reached the semi-finals of last season's tournament, but David de Gea had a match to forget against Chelsea as the Blues recorded a 3-1 victory to advance. Watford, meanwhile, will enter the match off the back of a 2-1 defeat at Swansea, which left the Hornets down in sixth position in the Championship table. A record of 10 wins, seven draws and five defeats from 22 matches has brought the Hertfordshire club 37 points, which has left them 10 points off the top of the division, a spot which is currently occupied by Norwich City. Xisco is now in charge of the second-tier club, with the 40-year-old replacing Vladimir Ivic, who was sacked before Christmas, meaning that there has now been 13 changes of manager since June 2012. Watford suffered a 4-1 defeat to United when the two teams last met in the FA Cup back in 2007, with Wayne Rooney inspiring the English giants to the final. The Hornets have actually lost six of their last seven matches with the Red Devils in all competitions, but they recorded a 2-0 win when the two teams met at Vicarage Road in December 2019. Manchester United FA Cup form: DWWWWL Manchester United form (all competitions): WWDWWL Watford FA Cup form: WWWLDL Watford form (all competitions): WWDLWL Team News United will again be without the services of Phil Jones through injury and Edinson Cavani through suspension, while Marcos Rojo remains a huge fitness doubt for Solskjaer's team. Facundo Pellistri had potentially been in line to make his debut for the club, but the youngster has tested positive for coronavirus and will therefore not be involved. The hosts are expected to make a number of changes from the side that started against Man City as they will face Burnley in the Premier League on Tuesday ahead of a trip to Anfield. Axel Tuanzebe, Donny van de Beek, Daniel James and Juan Mata should all come into the starting XI, while Eric Bailly could return to the heart of the defence. Anthony Martial could be on the bench against Burnley on Tuesday with Cavani serving the final game of his three-match suspension here, meaning that the Frenchman might start this contest. As for Watford, Craig Cathcart and Joao Pedro have returned to training following hamstring issues, and the pair are in contention to feature at Old Trafford. The Hornets still have injury problems, though, with Domingos Quina, Isaac Success and Stipe Perica unavailable, while Christian Kabasele is still struggling with a knee injury. Head coach Xisco will also make alterations to his first-choice XI, with Daniel Bachmann and William Troost-Ekong among those in line for starts, but midfielder James Garner is ineligible to face his parent club. Manchester United vs Manchester City 6/1/2021 Carabao Cup / EFL
Manchester United vs Manchester City 6/1/2021 Carabao Cup / EFL

Don't forget to subscribe 🙏🙏 Jan 6, 2021, at 7.45pm UK at Old Trafford Manchester United vs Manchester City Preview: Manchester United vs. Manchester City - prediction, team news, lineups The two most in-form teams in the Premier League turn their attention to the EFL Cup on Wednesday night as Manchester United host Manchester City in a mouth-watering derby at Old Trafford. The local rivals are meeting in the semi-finals of the competition for the second year in a row, and both of them come into the contest off the back of notable weekend wins. Match preview Manchester derbies are always hugely anticipated affairs, but Wednesday's showdown is particularly promising with a place at Wembley up for grabs and both teams coming into the match in fine form. Victories over Aston Villa and Chelsea respectively at the weekend ramped up the talk of a potential title challenge for both clubs, despite both making underwhelming starts to the season. They have since made up for lost time, though; Man United have taken 26 points from the last 30 on offer in the top flight, with Friday night's triumph over Aston Villa sending them level on points with champions Liverpool at the summit, while Man City have won five and lost none of their last seven league games. The Red Devils also have great pedigree in this competition, with this match being their 16th appearance in the League Cup semi-finals - second only to Liverpool. Man United have progressed from nine of their previous 15 semi-finals, but have been knocked out in two of their last three and, as is the case with the Premier League as well, it is Man City who have had the greater bragging rights in this competition in recent years. Guardiola has won 17 of his 24 matches as a manager in this competition, while Man City as a club have progressed from each of their last five League Cup semi-finals, winning the trophy each time. Add to that the fact that the home team has ended up on the winning side in just three of the last 14 Manchester derbies, and Man City will be arriving at Old Trafford full of confidence. However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has won three of his six managerial meetings with Guardiola - the Spaniard's worst loss percentage against any manager he has faced at least five times - and the hosts will be similarly convinced of their chance to progress to the final on Wednesday night. The Red Devils have found a winning formula in recent weeks to the extent that Solskjaer's job, which was under threat less than a month ago following their exit from the Champions League, is now seemingly as secure as it has ever been. A 2-1 win over Aston Villa on New Year's Day means that they have now won four and drawn one of their last five home league games, having picked up just one point from their previous four such outings before that. Manchester United EFL Cup form: WWW Manchester United form (all competitions): WWWDWW Manchester City EFL Cup form: WWW Manchester City form (all competitions): DDWWWW Team News The EFL Cup usually results in a raft of changes being made by the Premier League's top teams, but with both of these clubs having FA Cup games at home to Championship opposition next up, there could be two strong sides named on Wednesday. Man City's options are severely limited, though, with as many as eight players in danger of missing out, six of whom have fallen foul of the coronavirus outbreak at the club. Ederson, Gabriel Jesus, Kyle Walker, Ferran Torres, Eric Garcia and Tommy Doyle were all missing against Chelsea due to COVID-19 and are expected to be absent on Wednesday too. Jesus and Walker would have completed their 10-day isolation period by the time the match is played and so could be available in theory. Aymeric Laporte and Nathan Ake could miss out here due to the quick turnaround. Phil Foden scored at Stamford Bridge and will hope to be awarded another start here. Victor Lindelof remains a doubt having missed the last two games with a back injury, while Edinson Cavani serves the second of his three-match ban for a social media post which contained an allegedly discriminatory word. Dean Henderson is expected to return in goal in place of David de Gea, while Solskjaer must also decide whether to bring the likes of Alex Telles, Mason Greenwood, Donny van de Beek and Juan Mata back into the side. Manchester United possible starting lineup: Henderson; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw; McTominay, Fred, Pogba; Fernandes; Martial, Rashford Manchester City possible starting lineup: Steffen; Cancelo, Dias, Stones, Mendy; Fernandinho, Gundogan; Mahrez, De Bruyne, Foden; Aguero Manchester United 3-2 Manchester City Pep Guardiola Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Ederson Gabriel Jesus Kyle Walker Ferran Torres Eric Garcia Tommy Doyle Aymeric Laporte Nathan Ake Phil Foden Victor Lindelof Edinson Cavani Dean Henderson Alex Telles Mason Greenwood Donny van de Beek Juan Mata David de Gea Football #MUFC #MCFC #ManchesterDerby

Arsenal vs Rapid Wien 3/12/2020 Europa League
Arsenal vs Rapid Wien 3/12/2020 Europa League

Don't forget to subscribe 🙏🙏 Arsenal vs. Rapid Vienna Dec 3, 2020 at 8pm UK Arsenal vs. Rapid Vienna Build‑up Preview Football Preview: Arsenal vs. Rapid Vienna - prediction, team news, lineups Arsenal will be desperate to bounce back from their lowly defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers when they face off against Rapid Vienna in the Europa League on Thursday evening. Match preview A year to the day that Unai Emery was relieved of his duties as Arsenal manager, the Spaniard's successor Mikel Arteta witnessed a ghastly performance which could have him fearing for his Emirates future as well. Arsenal's showdown with Wolverhampton Wanderers was marred by a sickening clash of heads between Raul Jimenez and David Luiz, but even after their star striker had to be given oxygen as he was stretchered off and transported to hospital, Wolves produced a top-class performance to travel back to the West Midlands with three points in the bag. Arteta witnessed his side score a long-overdue goal from open play in the Premier League as Gabriel Magalhaes powered a header home, but strikes from Pedro Neto and Daniel Podence saw Wolves come out on top and condemn Arsenal to a third top-flight defeat in a row on familiar territory. The Gunners, like many teams, are afflicted with numerous injuries at the moment, but Arteta has now overseen Arsenal's worst ever start to a Premier League season after 10 matches and a top-four charge already looks dead in the water heading into the festive period. One thing that Gooners can take solace in is their side's dominance in Europa League Group B, with Arsenal already guaranteed to advance to the knockout stages, and Arteta's side can secure top spot in the group with victory on their own turf against Vienna. Rapid Vienna boast a far better goal difference than second-placed Molde, but having lost 1-0 to the Norwegian outfit back in October, this week's visitors to the Emirates find themselves outside of the top two. Since losing their opening two group matches, the Austrian giants have notched up seven goals in two successive victories against Dundalk to keep their knockout dreams alive and confirm the Irish side's elimination in the process. With Molde expected to further their own bid for a top-two finish with a victory against Dundalk on matchday five, Rapid Vienna will know that nothing less than a win at the Emirates - however difficult that may be - will do before their crunch showdown with Molde in the final round of group matches. Dietmar Kuhbauer's side have been faltering in the league, though, with Rapid Vienna's winless streak stretching to three top-flight matches as Austria Vienna held them to a 1-1 draw in the capital derby. Arsenal just about managed to eke out a win when they paid a visit to Austria on matchday one, with Luiz and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both netting after Taxiarchis Fountas had opened the scoring for Rapid Vienna. Arsenal Europa League form: WWWW Arsenal form (all competitions): WWLDWL Rapid Vienna Europa League form: LLWW Rapid Vienna form (all competitions): WWDLWD Team News Arsenal have confirmed the solemn news that Thomas Partey's injury is worse than first thought, and the summer arrival is likely to remain on the treatment table until 2021. Luiz played on for another 30 minutes with blood seeping through his bandage against Wolves - a move which was heavily criticised - and the Brazilian defender is confirmed to be missing this one out. Nicolas Pepe should start this one amid his domestic suspension, while Reiss Nelson - who was dropped for Willian at the weekend in spite of his impressive performance at Molde - is expected to get the nod on the opposite flank. Aubameyang's struggles in front of goal continued against Wolves - despite finding himself in a more familiar central role - and the 31-year-old will make way for either Alexandre Lacazette or Eddie Nketiah here. As for Thursday's visitors, midfield duo Dejan Petrovic and Dejan Ljubicic are thought to be nearing returns to action, but the trip to Arsenal will come too soon for both players. Wholesale changes are unlikely, but Fountas made an appearance from the bench in the Vienna derby and will be dreaming of a second goal against the Gunners this week, so he should start this one. Arsenal possible starting lineup: Runarsson; Cedric, Mustafi, Holding, Maitland-Niles; Xhaka, Elneny; Pepe, Smith Rowe, Nelson; Lacazette Rapid Vienna possible starting lineup: Gartler; Stojkovic, Hofmann, Barac, Ullmann; Grahovac, Knasmullner; Schick, Demir, Fountas; Kara We say: Arsenal 3-1 Rapid Vienna Unai Emery Mikel Arteta Raul Jimenez David Luiz Gabriel Magalhaes Pedro Neto Daniel Podence Thomas Partey Nicolas Pepe Reiss Nelson Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Alexandre Lacazette Eddie Nketiah Dietmar Kuhbauer Taxiarchis Fountas Dejan Petrovic Dejan Ljubicic Willian Football

Arsenal vs Molde FK 5/11/2020 Europa League

Don't forget to subscribe 🙏🙏 Arsenal vs. Molde Nov 5, 2020 at 8pm UK Arsenal vs. Molde Build‑up Preview Football Preview: Arsenal vs. Molde - prediction, team news, lineups Arsenal and Molde meet in the Europa League on Thursday evening with both clubs looking to extend their winning streak in Group B to three matches. Already holding a six-point advantage over Rapid Vienna and Molde, the English and Norwegian sides are aware that they will move to the brink of the knockout stages with victory at the Emirates Stadium. Match preview Most Arsenal supporters will agree that they have not enjoyed the fastest start to the season, already losing out to Liverpool, Manchester City and Leicester City in the Premier League. However, despite suffering defeat to three of their rivals, the Gunners only remain four points adrift of first place courtesy of a deserved 1-0 triumph away at Manchester United on Sunday. Mikel Arteta watched his players squander several chances to take the lead at Old Trafford, eventually having to rely on a much-needed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang goal from the penalty spot. Nevertheless, the level of their overall performance would have impressed the Spaniard and the club's fans ahead of back-to-back home fixtures with Molde and Aston Villa. Should Arsenal prevail in each contest, Arteta will be satisfied with the club's progress heading into the November international break, a feeling which he would not have expected when succumbing to Leicester on October 25. Like their hosts, Molde would have had few complaints when learning the draw for the group stages, aware that it provided them with a realistic chance of reaching the last 32 of this competition for just the second time in their history. As it stands, Erling Moe's side are taking full advantage of being presented with a favourable group, something which was welcomed after they missed out on Champions League football to Ferencvaros on away goals. Molde initially required time to shake off conceding three times at home, but they have recently recorded six successive wins in all competitions. Ohi Omoijuanfo has been the star of the show in recent weeks, scoring the decisive goals in the narrow successes over Dundalk and Rapid Vienna. Shkodran Mustafi is in line to make another appearance in defence, with Reiss Nelson potentially getting a rare chance on the flank. While David Luiz is back in contention after a thigh injury, the Brazilian may not be risked from the start. Moe is expected to make a couple of changes to the team which faced Mjondalen at the weekend. Martin Ellingsten will almost certainly be restored to the first XI after coming off the substitutes' bench to net a double in the 3-1 win. Don't forget to subscribe 🙏❤ Rapid vs. Arsenal Oct 22, 2020 at 5.55pm UK Rapid Vienna vs. Football Preview: Rapid Vienna vs. Arsenal - prediction, team news, lineups Arsenal begin their latest Europa League adventure with a trip to Rapid Vienna on Thursday, aiming to improve on last season's disappointing early exit. The Gunners crashed out at the first knockout stage last time out but are among the favourites to go all the way this time, though this could be a tricky opening test for them. Match preview Mikel Arteta admitted to being "hurt" by Arsenal's shock loss to Olympiacos in last season's last 32, with Youssef El Arabi scoring late in extra time to seal a dramatic victory. This is now Arsenal's fourth attempt at trying to win the Europa League, having previously reached the semi-finals and finished runners-up in 2018 and 2019 respectively. The Gunners will be taking the competition seriously, too, although as ever the early rounds can often be a distraction from the bigger target - a top-four finish in the league. Arsenal have made a good start to their season, winning three and losing two of their opening five league games, albeit with two of those defeats coming in their last three games. That includes a slender 1-0 loss to Manchester City last time out, leaving Arteta's men fifth in the table with nine points from a possible 15. With an EFL Cup quarter-final place already in the bag, focus now switches to the continent for the first time this season. As well as facing Rapid Vienna home and away, Arsenal will also take on Norwegian and Irish champions Molde and Dundalk over the next two months. Rapid boast plenty of experience in UEFA's secondary competition, with this their eighth campaign, reaching the knockout stages on two occasions previously - 2015-16 and 2018-19. The Green-Whites are also in the early stages of their campaign and enter this game on the back of three straight wins, most recently thrashing Wiener Neustadt 5-1 in the cup, though they did face the disappointment of losing to Gent in Champions League qualifying. After finishing second in the Austrian Bundesliga last season, the aim for Dietmar Kuhbauer this time around will be to finish above Red Bull Salzburg at the top of the pile. This will be Rapid's first meeting with Arsenal, although the Austrian side did beat Aston Villa 3-2 in a Europa League qualifying match nine years ago in their most recent meeting with an English side. Arsenal's last Austrian opponents were Austria Wien in the 1991-92 European Cup, meanwhile, winning that one 6-1 at home before losing 1-0 away. Rapid Vienna form (all competitions): WLDWWW Arsenal form (all competitions): WWLWWL Team News Summer signing Thomas Partey made his debut from the bench against Man City and is in contention to make his full debut here. There will be no Mesut Ozil or Sokratis Papastathopoulos as both players were left of Arsenal's Europa League squad. With Sunday's home league meeting with Leicester City likely taking priority, Arteta could turn to academy graduates Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nketiah and Joe Willock. Bukayo Saka, who was directly involved in more goals in the Europa League last season than any other Arsenal player, is expected to be given a breather. As for the home side, an unnamed player has tested positive for coronavirus in the build-up to the game and will therefore miss this match. However, he was not in close contact with any of his teammates so Kuhbauer still has pretty much a full-strength squad to choose from. Taxiarchis Fountas has four goals in four league appearances this season and is one to watch for Rapid. Rapid Vienna possible starting lineup: Strebinger; Stojkovic, Hofmann, Barac; Arase, Grahovac, Ljubicic, Ullmann; Murg, Kara, Fountas Arsenal possible starting lineup: Runarsson; Luiz, Gabriel, Kolasinac; Cedric, Elneny, Partey, Maitland-Niles; Willock, Nketiah, Nelson We say: Rapid Vienna 1-2 Arsenal Rapid Vienna have won four home games in a row in all competitions, whereas Arsenal are winless inside 90 minutes in their last three away games, losing two of those. The Foxes, who somehow missed out on a top-four finish last season after badly drifting away, have defeated West Bromwich Albion and Burnley to top the table. Arsenal have seen off Fulham and West Ham United in their opening two fixtures, meanwhile, having also edged out Liverpool on penalties in the Community Shield. Mikel Arteta's side required a late Eddie Nketiah goal to shake off West Ham, while Leicester recovered from a goal down to overcome Burnley at the weekend. Focus now switches to the domestic cup and the chance to continue building some momentum in the opening month of a campaign unlike any other. This will be just the third time Leicester and Arsenal have met in the EFL Cup, sharing a win apiece in those previous two encounters. Avoiding defeat at Leicester is not something Arsenal have done a lot of in recent times, though, losing each of their last three games at the King Power Stadium in all competitions. The Foxes have lost just one of their last 14 games in the competition, meanwhile, in a run that has seen them reach at least the quarter-finals in each of the last three campaigns. That is an impressive record, but one that Arsenal can better - they have progressed past this stage of the EFL Cup in 16 of the last 17 seasons, failing only in 2014-15 against Southampton. Arteta has already won two trophies in his nine months in North London, though it remains to be seen just how seriously he will take the EFL Cup, with a trip to Premier League champions Liverpool to come next weekend. Similarly, Leicester face a tricky trip to Manchester City four days after this showdown with Arsenal, so Brendan Rodgers will likely rotate his squad between matches. If that is the case, it could well come down to who boasts the better squad depth between these two in-form sides. Leicester City form (all competitions): WW Arsenal form (all competitions): WWW Team News Mesut Ozil has not been part of Arsenal's matchday squad for their first two games back, but the playmaker is not carrying an injury and may be in Arteta's thoughts here. Arteta has plenty of other attacking options, however, including the likes of Nicolas Pepe, Joe Willock and Nketiah, who deserves a start after his late winner versus West Ham. Dijon goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson has been tipped to join ahead of Wednesday's match and could be in line for a swift debut, but Matt Macey is otherwise standing by. Leicester confirmed the arrival of Cengiz Under from Roma on Sunday and he could make his first appearance in this one, though Demarai Gray and Marc Albrighton are also pushing for starts. Kelechi Iheanacho, another who will be keen to get the nod, has been involved in 11 goals in 14 EFL Cup appearances for the Foxes. Jonny Evans is still not available for the hosts, so a combination of Wes Morgan and Caglar Soyuncu is likely at the back. Leicester City possible starting lineup: Ward; Justin, Morgan, Soyuncu, Thomas; Choudhury, Mendy; Gray, Maddison, Albrighton; Iheanacho Arsenal possible starting lineup: Macey; Cedric, Saliba, Luiz, Holding, Kolasinac; Elneny, Guendouzi; Pepe, Nketiah, Saka We say: Leicester City 1-2 Arsenal Arsenal are winless in their last three games against Leicester and have lost three in a row at the King Power Stadium. However, with both teams expected to rotate for this midweek cup tie, we can see the Gunners' squad depth telling in a narrow away victory.
