We all know Angel Hernandez. He's one of the most infamous umpires today. This time he ruined the Houston Astros' combined no hitter with a highly suspect non-strike call that ended up with the batter homering and ending the no hit bid. Orioles Mikael Franco homered 2 pitches later on a similar high breaking ball. #mlb #Astros #AngelHernandez Linktree: https://linktr.ee/OffTopicSports
The Cubs Jake Marisnick tries scoring from first base on a single to right field that he had no business on attempting. Turns out the third base coach waived him for god knows what reason. Incredibly stupid play turns a winnable game into a loss for the Cubs against the Mets. Linktree: https://linktr.ee/OffTopicSports #MLB #Baseball #Cubs
Baltimore Orioles manager Brandon Hyde is ejected in the first inning after a HBP call goes against his team. Even though the batter clearly swung, it was called a hit by pitch instead of a strike since the swing cannot be reviewed. He ends up getting ejected in hilarious fashion by the first base umpire and then his team implodes to give up runs. Overall, a good representation of the Orioles season thus far. #mlb #baseball #orioles Linktree: https://linktr.ee/OffTopicSports
Ah yes it's the Pittsburgh Pirates once again on a whole new episode of Pirates vs the 1st base bag. Here we have rising star Ke'Bryan Hayes losing what should've been a homer (hr) because he failed to step on first base. Basically the Pittsburgh Pirates lose home run because one of their players forgot you have to step on a base. Let's relive it in all of its glory. It probably won't be the last installment in this series this year since we all know the Pirates can't have nice things. The Los Angeles Dodgers on the other hand really enjoyed the situation and Walker Buehler ended up with an 8 pitch first inning. Chicago Cubs at San Diego Padres on 6/7/2021. Padres lead 6-4 in the bottom of the 8th and Manny Machado is up to bat. What should've been a routine pop up in foul territory ends up being dropped by Rizzo and the very next pitch, Manny HOMERS. Rizzo can't believe it and his face says it all. Baseball can be a cruel sport sometimes and this is a great example of it. Note: I am new to making videos so if you have any suggestions on how I can improve please let me know!
