The Portland Winterhawks defeated the Seattle Thunderbirds 10-5 on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at accesso ShoWare Center. Sami Moilanen had two goals and Zack Andrusiak, Matthew Wedman, and Blake Bargar scored in the game.
Game 3 vs. Everett Highlights
The T-Birds defeated the Silvertips 5-4 in overtime Tuesday night at ShoWare Center to take a 3-0 lead in their Western Conference Semifinal series. Mathew Barzal scored the overtime game-winning goal 1:30 into overtime to get the T-Birds the win. Barzal tied the game 4-4 early in the third period. Keegan Kolesar, Nolan Volcan and Alexander True had the T-Birds first three goals of the game. Carl Stankowski made 14 saves to get his seventh win of the playoffs.

50th Anniversary
The T-Birds presented Patrick Marleau with the WHL Professional Alumni Achievement Award and Tyler Metcalfe with the WHL Scholastic Alumni Achievement Award prior to the game on Saturday, March 5, against the Portland Winterhawks.
