NFL Preseason 2021 | Browns vs. Falcons Preview
NFL Preseason 2021 | Browns vs. Falcons Preview

NFL Preseason 2021 | Browns vs. Falcons Preview Betting on the Cleveland Browns (-5.5) Pre-Season Record: 2-0 The Cleveland Browns and Atlanta Falcons meet Sunday in week 3 NFL preseason action at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Cleveland Browns look for another win to finish the preseason undefeated. The Atlanta Falcons could use a win after a sluggish 0-2 preseason start. The Browns are in good shape as far as their preseason form is concerned. They have won both of their first two assignments, beating the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1, 23-13, then shutting the door on the New York Giants in a 17-13 victory in Week 2. Baker Mayfield has yet to see action in the preseason and that may just be the case again for Cleveland this week. However, the Browns could also get him a few reps under center just to warm him up for the upcoming regular season. In any case, expect the pair of Kyle Lauletta and Case Keenum to share much of the workload under center against the Falcons. Cleveland’s offense could have a field day moving the chains this Sunday, considering that Atlanta’s stop unit has barely done anything impressive this preseason. The Cleveland Browns are coming off wins over the Jaguars and Giants. In the victory, the Browns produced 370 total yards and allowed 308 total yards. Kyle Lauletta led Cleveland with 152 passing yards while Case Keenum had 74 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception. John Kelly led the Browns with 58 rushing yards and one touchdown while Davion Davis and Johnny Stanton combined for 78 receiving yards on five catches. Defensively, Elijah Lee led the Browns with nine tackles, Malik McDowell had one sack and Richard LeCounte III had one interception. The Browns look solid defensively and have shown decent depth at key positions. The Browns should like their chances even more once Baker Mayfield and others finally take the field. The Falcons have allowed a total of 60 points, so far. The Browns are 6-4 against the spread in their last 10 games in the preseason. Betting on the Atlanta Falcons (+5.5) Pre- Season Record: 0-2 The Atlanta Falcons are coming off losses to the Titans and Dolphins. In the losing effort, the Falcons produced 253 total yards and allowed 422 total yards. Feleipe Franks led Atlanta with 46 passing yards and one interception while AJ McCarron had 43 passing yards. Caleb Huntley led the Falcons with 57 rushing yards and one touchdown while Tajae Sharpe and Frank Darby combined for 54 receiving yards on four catches. Defensively, Emmanuel Ellerbee led the Falcons with eight tackles, Jonathan Bullard had one sack and Mykal Walker had one pass deflection. The Falcons have looked awful on both sides of the ball through two games and the offense was horrible their last time out. It’s meaningless games overall, but you can’t be all that confident in the Falcons at this very moment. The Falcons did lose to the Miami Dolphins in Week 2 of the preseason on the road, 37-17, but that was a game in which Atlanta opted to rest almost their entire group of starters, while the Fins trotted out their first-teamers. In that context, the Falcons actually did pretty well, especially on defense, with Jonathan Bullard recording a sack. As a team, the Falcons consistently pressured Tua Tagovailoa. The offense, meanwhile, took a hit with AJ McCarron suffering a torn ACL in the Dolphins game. That means Felipe Franks could have plenty of extra snaps to go around against the Browns. Atlanta needs better protection, though, after it allowed four sacks for a loss of 23 yards in the Miami game. The Browns could be a bit thin in the secondary with an injury to Greedy. The under is 6-4 in the Falcons’ last 10 preseason games. #BROWNS #ODDS #CLE #NFL #PRESEASON #NFL2021 #NFLPICKS #FALCONS #ATL #216 #PREVIEW

NFL Preseason 2021 | Browns vs. Giants Preview The NY Giants aim to bounce back from a loss to the Jets in Week 1 of the preseason, when they take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 2 of the NFL preseason. The NY Giants, led by quarterback Daniel Jones, wide receiver Darius Slayton, and cornerback James Bradberry travel to take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 2 of the NFL preseason on Sunday, August 21 (8/21/2021) in a 1 p.m. kickoff at First Energy Stadium. Sunday, the Giants aim to bounce back from disappointing showing by the offensive reserves, who produced just 98 yards through three-plus quarters in a 12-7 loss to the Jets in the exhibition opener last Saturday night at MetLife Stadium. This week, the NY Giants and Browns took part in a series of joint practices ahead of Sunday’s clash, so there should be plenty of familiarity when the two teams kickoff on Sunday afternoon. NY Giants Saquon Barkley continues to make progress in his rehab from a torn ACL, but after not participating in any full-team periods during live practices with the Browns this week, it will be at least one more week before the star running back returns to the field. Second-year NY Giants linebacker TJ Brunson is out for the season, after tearing his ACL against the Jets last week. Quarterback Clayton Thorson suffered a concussion last week, and is out against the Browns, replaced by recent free agent signing Brian Lewerke. The Browns welcomed back three players who have practically missed all of camp to date: WR Anthony Schwartz, S Ronnie Harrison, and S Grant Delpit. Both Harrison and Delpit immediately saw action in 11-on-11 team drills. CB Denzel Ward (soreness) is getting close to practicing again, while LB Mack Wilson (shoulder) is day-to-day. Wilson did partake in some individual drills. DE Jadeveon Clowney didn’t practice, but head coach Kevin Stefanski was mum on whether anything is bothering him. The Cleveland Browns have a Super Bowl caliber roster, and might be the biggest threat to the Kansas City Chiefs appearing in three straight Super Bowls next February. Following this week’s joint practices, and the ability to scout Cleveland’s personnel up close and personal, don’t be surprised if some of the players released by the Browns during roster cuts find their way onto the NY Giants’ roster. Meanwhile, the NY Giants’ offense was very disappointing against the Jets, and it remains to be seen how many players the organization cuts wind up on other rosters this fall. Following last week’s showing, and given the talent-divide between these two teams, the Browns seem to be the smart play. #PRESEASON #BROWNS #GIANTS #NFL #CLEVELAND #2021PRESEASON #NEWYORK #NY #GMEN #BAKER #Saquon #AFCNORTH #OBJ

NFL Week 4 | Cleveland Browns vs. Dallas Cowboys Preview
NFL Week 4 | Cleveland Browns vs. Dallas Cowboys Preview

NFL Week 4 | Cleveland Browns vs. Dallas Cowboys Preview. Opening Odds Analysis While Dallas has yet to cover the spread this season, Cleveland brings a seven-game road losing streak into this contest both straight up and ATS. The line has dipped slightly to -4.5, but it would be surprising to see it move much more in either direction barring injuries. Meanwhile, the total has risen 2 points in early betting and could go up even more considering these are two teams that can score a lot and do not play much defense. Cleveland News & Notes The Browns have not been overly impressive in winning their last two games at home vs Cincinnati and Washington, going 1-1 ATS with the OVER cashing both times. The challenge for them now will be trying to find a way to earn a rare victory away from home, something that has not happened since they stunned the Baltimore Ravens 40-25 as 7-point road underdogs in last year’s regular-season opener. Cleveland’s recent success can be attributed to a balanced offense and particularly a strong running game that has kept quarterback Baker Mayfield from having to do too much. Running backs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt have combined to form arguably the best duo in the league, and Mayfield has not had to force throws in an effort to make plays himself. If Chubb and Hunt can continue to run hard, the Browns can be competitive here. Dallas News & Notes If the Houston Texans have played the toughest early schedule in the AFC, then the Cowboys may have earned that distinction so far in the NFC. Dallas has had to play the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks away from home in two of the first three weeks and needed to rally back from a 15-point deficit in the last five minutes to beat the Atlanta Falcons 40-39 at home in Week 2. All three of the team’s games have been decided by seven points or less following a 38-31 loss at Seattle last Sunday. The Cowboys led the Seahawks 31-30 with 3:59 remaining but simply could not stop NFL MVP favorite Russell Wilson, who threw his fifth touchdown pass with 1:47 left to win it and then added the two-point conversion. Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott threw for 472 yards in the loss and must get more help from running back Ezekiel Elliott (34 yards). Betting Pick: Browns +5 Cleveland has built some confidence lately in wins over Cincinnati and Washington, and Mayfield has what it takes to keep up with Prescott through the air. Dallas has given up more than 32 points per game and continues to deal with key injuries on that side of the ball. This one will likely come down to which defense can perform better and make more stops, and the Browns will be good enough to keep it close and cover the spread. NFL Week 10| Cleveland Browns vs. Atlanta Falcons Recap
NFL Week 10| Cleveland Browns vs. Atlanta Falcons Recap

Please watch: "Browns Quarterback Baker Mayfield Storms Off During Weekly Press Conference" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xToTxtapUIo --~-- CLEVELAND, Ohio- Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb played the best games of their rookie seasons and the struggling defense came up big in a 28-16 victory Sunday over the Falcons at FirstEnergy Stadium to snap a four-game losing streak. It improved the Browns to 3-6-1 heading into their bye week. The Browns have their most wins since a 7-9 season in 2014. Mayfield, heeding coach Gregg Williams’ advice to let it rip, threw for 216 yards yards and 3 TDs and earned a 151.2 rating. Chubb rushed for 176 yards on 20 carries (8.8 average), including a 92 yard touchdown run which is the longest in Browns history. The victory also snapped a three-game winning streak by the Falcons who came in with the No. 2 pass offense and No. 8 scoring offense and dropped them to 4-5. It marked the first victory for interim coach Gregg Williams, who improved to 18-32 as a head coach. During the week, Williams urged Mayfield, “Don’t be afraid of making mistakes. Just cut it loose and play, and make faster and faster decisions.’’ Mayfield did just that, completing 13 straight passes to start the game. Coupled with a completion last week, his 14 straight tied for fourth-most in team history. Check out my show "The Barbershop" and The Browns Pre-Game Show on Sports Radio 92.3 The Fan (WKRK-FM).
