There are plenty of messy situations in baseball right now, but few are as smoldering and as calamitous as the Arizona Diamondbacks have gone through over the past few months. It may be starting to get a little better, but since early May, the team has gone 5-40. They've set records for ineptitude. They were on a loss pace that would've come close to the 1962 New York Mets. Everything has fallen apart and they are staring in the face of a long and arduous rebuild. But we all know it didn't just start with the collapse. This sort of thing is always usually years in the making. In this video, we hope to find the sources of this collapse... and probably fail at it. Just like the lack of vision the Diamondbacks have had over the past few years.

I felt that this series was over when the Leafs went up three games to one on the Canadiens. I overestimated how much Toronto could take an easily manageable situation and fail miserably at it. Even in an all-Canadian division, memes still live on. This is what we get for thinking they can finally win a playoff series for once.

The North and West Divisions are surprisingly cutthroat for what they resemble. The North? It involves Canada. Everything is about bragging rights and lording over your neighbors up there. The West? Pretty much the same thing. Fifteen teams each trying to vie for a spot in the playoffs and each has a different story. Some are thriving, some are skidding, and some have had everything fall to shit (glares at Vancouver). What else has occurred? This video will explain these divisions. I expect a few fanbases to be angry at me for it. I have an idea which ones, but I've been surprised before.
