Healing Waters: Rio San Juan, 2012
A fly fishing trip to the imfamous San Juan in northern New Mexico. I had the pleasure of guiding two vets from the project Healing Waters; Mike and Paul. The fishing was good with the river running at 1,000 CFS and clear. We used nymphs and caught fish on both Saturday and Sunday. The pressure from other anglers was mostly on Sunday but with the flows high, the fish were spread nicely all over the river.
