ATK wins 3rd ISL title as Chennaiyin FC falters in ISL final.

Despite all Cricketing qctoons cancelled in India, due do Corona virus threat, our Sports11 analyst Lawrence Jeba shifts focus towards football action as the Indian Super League ended up in grand style. Beating 2 time champions Chennaiyin FC 3 - 1 at Goa, ATK clinched their 3rd ISL title. ATak stayed very on top right from the tournament and at onecstage rhwy were table toppers before FC Goa overtook them in the league pointa table. Whereas Chennaiyin FC started steadily abs kicked off in middle part of the tournament. Their stunning performance of scoring 9 goals vs Kerala Blasters was a new ISL record. Even n the semi finals Chennaiyin FC rained goals to kick table toppers FC Goa out of the tournament and ATK beat Bengaluru in the other semi finals..in the finals too Chennaiyin FC started in a positive note with a goal early. But, ATK had other plans. They too gave tough fight. In the process, they have to lose the top scorer of the tournament, forward attacker Roy Krishna, while chasing a long ball from john Johnson and trying to pass over to Javi. Then, Nandi Soza and David Williams took over the mantle and started the assault over Chennaiyin FC and equalled them one all. Then In the 2nd half, Chennaiyin FC's defence was all over the place and also missed several scoring opportunities too. As ATK's continued the domination and piled on the agony with 2 more goals and Chennaiyin FC couldn't recover from that all the way. Thecend result was a 3 - 1 won, which was exactly the same margin where Chennaiyin FC beat ATK in the league game at Kolkata.
