Regardless of the young forward's class in his four-goal display in the evisceration of the Seychelles, this bout was a long time coming for a Namibia side who appeared keen to make a statement in their tournament opener. "The boys need to understand that they are here to enjoy themselves, and no pressure should be placed on them to reach the next round. His speed, boldness in possession and fearless when faced with opposition defenders stood out at this level, and established the youngster as the most impressive player to have showcased his qualities in Mauritius so far.The win takes Namibia to top spot in Group A after one match, level on points with Botswana, who defeated the hosts 1-0 in their opener on Thursday. The Baby Warriors meet Mauritius in their second group game later on Saturday, while Botswana will expect to eliminate the Seychelles from the running when they clash in Port Louis. Prins Tjiueza has continued his magical exploits at the Under-17 Cosafa Cup in Mauritius, to earn his team a semi-final spot in the competition. Tjiueza, who netted four goals in the Baby Warriors 8-3 win over Seychelles in their opening match, extended his goal tally to five in the competition, after scoring one of the two goals against Botswana. Autohaus Audi Namibia came to the match on the back of a 1-0 defeat to hosts Mauritius and had everything to play for against their neighbours. The team proved they have what it takes to go all the way, after a dominating display. Namibia finished top of Group A with six points, followed by Mauritius. Seychelles exited the competition without registering a point, while Botswana were also eliminated. “This victory came down to a team effort, as illustrated by our first goal. After we lost to Mauritius, we had to concentrate more on the mentality of the boys and we had to encourage them to still believe. “There was a lot at stake and they came right. We are through and we now have to relax and then regroup to plan for Angola in the semifinals and then see how far we can go. “The sky is the limit; the boys have really surprised us and they can do more from now on,” coach Paul 'Shakes' Malembu told the NFA website. Namibia will meet Angola at 13:30 at the St Francois Xavier Stadium on Friday. This year's winner will qualify directly for the Afcon U-17 tourney. The Afcon winner will qualify for the Fifa U-17 World Cup, which the Namibian team has never featured at. Amakhosi eased into the final of the one-day tournament after defeating ABC Motsepe League side Buya Msuthu 2-0, courtesy of goals from Bernard Parker and Yusuf Bunting. Having previously been a ball-boy for the club, Ndlovu joined the academy of Maritzburg United from the now defunct Umgungundlovu Academy of Sport in Pietermaritzburg. He excelled during his time in the club's academy where he played in the SAB League and earned the nickname Mbesuma, in reference to former PSL top goalscorer, Collins Mbesuma. In 2016, he was promoted to senior side by coach Roger De Sa alongside Mlondi Dlamini and Tso Motjatji.He made his debut for the club on 22 October 2016 when he came on as a substitute for Denis Weidlich in a penalty shootout loss to Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup.His league debut followed on 20 December in a 1–1 draw with Bidvest Wits and he went on to make 18 appearances across all competitions for the season. In January 2018, Ndlovu became the first-ever player from Maritzburg United to win the Absa Premiership Player of the Month award.In April 2018, amidst rumours linking him to Maritzburg's PSL rivals, Ndlovu signed a new long-term contract with the club.
