The Copper John Nymph created by John Barr is an extremely effective pattern for both Mayfly and Stonefly Nymphs. Here we use a two color wire technique and turn it into a soft hackle. Bead head soft hackle nymphs have proven to be the most effective patterns in our box time and time again.
