The saying “a win is a win” exists for a reason. I believe all viewers verified that this game between Michigan and Penn State on Tuesday night is that reason. In a “who can miss the most and still win” kind of game, the Wolverines found a way to come out on top 58-57. Hunter Dickinson proved to be the difference-maker once again, having both a team-high in points and rebounds at 16 and 15, respectively. Despite shooting less than 32% from the field, the Wolverines did put up over 86% from the free throw line, capitalizing from the line late in the game to keep enough distance ahead of the Nittany Lions. This was definitely a “cannot lose” type of game for Michigan, and they did just that. Onto bigger and better things and to hopefully never watch this game footage again! Michigan vs. Indiana Basketball Highlights & Analysis

The Michigan Wolverines could do no wrong against the Hoosiers of Indiana on Sunday afternoon. If you’re looking for a formula for blowing a team out, shooting over 50% from the floor and over 60% from the three-point line is a good place to start. Hunter Dickinson & Caleb Houstan led the offensive explosion for the Wolverines, combining for 44 points and going 8-11 from behind the 3-point line Michigan continued to improve on defense, limiting the number of touches to standout Hoosier Trayce Jackson-Davis and dominating on both sides of the glass to limit second chances. Though the high number of turnovers (14) could be improved, that was about the only thing that went wrong for the Wolverines, and there’s finally some momentum for a team desperate to get back into the Big Ten race. Michigan vs. Maryland Basketball Highlights & Analysis

Coming into this game, it felt like desperation for the Michigan Wolverines basketball team. It was the mark of a full month since the last Wolverines victory on the hardfloor, against Southern Utah back on December 18th. The Wolverines did what they had to, turning out a comfortable 83-64 win against a struggling Maryland Terrapins squad at the Crisler Center. Hunter Dickinson returned to the line-up and immediately had his presence felt, dishing out 6 assists throughout the night and leading the team with 21 points. Youngsters Caleb Houstan and Mousa Diabate added 16 and 14 points, respectively, with Houstan especially looking much better shooting the ball and more comfortable on offense as a whole. All in all, this was a game the team desperately needed to get back on track. Now the question remains, can they string together a couple of wins to turn around the season?
