Zach LaVine Is Better Than You Think | Why LaVine Will Get the Chicago Bulls to the NBA Playoffs
Zach LaVine's time with the Chicago Bulls has been uneventful thus far, and the Bulls are doing whatever they can to keep Zach LaVine in Chicago. The offseasdon acquisitions of Lonzo Ball and DeMar DeRozan has many people hopeful that LaVine will be around for the long-haul if the Bulls can make the playoffs this year. One of my favorite things in the NBA is when a player that was consistently labeled as an “empty stats” type of player finally begins to get the recognition that they deserve, and they slowly begin to shed the narrative that their stats aren’t actually conducive to winning. One player that this rings all too true for is Zach Lavine. I’m not sure very many people truly predicted what he was going to turn into, but now that he’s “arrived”, it’s fair to say that Zach Lavine is pretty good at basketball. His progression as a player has been otherworldly. We’ve seen him go from this hyper athletic scorer back in his Timberwolves days, to now becoming the focal point of the Chicago Bulls, a team that’s fighting to put a contender around, or risk losing him at the end of his contract. So what makes Zach Lavine so good? Outside of just getting buckets, what else is he good at? How is he able to rack up all these points? The New York Knicks Just Got Better | Kemba Walker, Immanuel Quickley, Obi Toppin & More
The New York Knicks got better. Getting Kemba Walker, keeping Derrick Rose and Julius Randle, and the development of other young guys like Immanual Quickley and Obi Toppin is a recipe for success. It’s no secret that New York Knicks fans were disappointed with how their season came to an end. Falling to Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks was a heartbreaking way to go out after having such a great season and securing home-court advantage in the Eastern Conference. The Knicks had a multitude of things go wrong, including the disappointing playoff performance of Julius Randle when they needed him most, but I’m not going to dwell on that in this video. In this video, I’m going to take a look at what the Knicks have done RIGHT so far, and why I think they’re a much-improved team going forward into next season.
