Comets streak snapped by the Crunch

The Utica Comets jumped out to a 1-0 lead but surrendered three unanswered goals in a 3-1 defeat to the Syracuse Crunch Wednesday night at the Adirondack Bank Center.

Comets fall at home to Rocket

The Utica Comets spotted Laval a 5-0 lead before falling 5-2 to the Rocket Saturday night at the Adirondack Bank Center. Dyson Stevenson and Jonah Gadjovich scored for Utica. Michael DiPietro got the start in goal, making five saves on nine shots before being replaced by Jake Kielly, who made 11 saves.

Boucher's record-breaking night carries Comets to win over Marlies

Reid Boucher netted three goals and two assists to help the Comets to a 6-3 win over the Toronto Marlies Friday night at the Adirondack Bank Center. Boucher’s effort set a new Comets record for points in a single season, 63. Wacey Hamilton, Dylan Blujus, and Sven Baertschi also scored for Utica. Mikey DiPietro made 26 saves in the win.

Baertschi, DiPietro lead Comets over Americans in a shootout

Sven Baertschi scored his 11th goal of the season and earned the shootout winner while Michael DiPietro made 34 saves, and the Utica Comets beat the Rochester Americans 3-2 in a shootout on Wednesday at Blue Cross Arena.

Reid Boucher steal and score against Laval

Reid Boucher gave the Comets their first lead of the night against the Laval Rocket 36 seconds into the third period after the Utica sniper created a turnover in the Laval zone and went short side on Laval goaltender Cayden Primeau.
