Notre Dame trailed by 18 with eight minutes left and cut the lead down to two with 53 seconds to go, but FSU was able to hold on for the win. Valencia Myers led the way for the Seminoles, scoring 14 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Morgan Jones had 10 points, three rebounds, and three assists. For Notre Dame, Maya Dodson had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Olivia Miles was the Fighting Irish leading scorer with 17 points. Miami vs. North Carolina: The #24 Tar Heels handled the Hurricanes with ease UNC defeated Miami 85-38. North Carolina outscored Miami 28-2 in the first quarter to set the tone for the rest of the game. Deja Kelly led the Tar Heels with 18 points to go with her five rebounds and five assists. Alyssa Ustby recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Kennedy Todd-Williams added 16 points. For Miami, Kelsey Marshall was the lone Hurricane in double-figures, with 15 points. Virginia Tech vs. Pittsburgh: The Hokies won their third consecutive game after going into Pittsburgh and defeating the Panthers, 76-71. Virginia Tech shot the ball at a ridiculously high percentage in the first half. They made 75.0% (18-24) from the field and 76.9% (10-13) from three-point range. Pitt cut a 28-point Virginia Tech lead down to six with eight minutes left in the game, and then down to three with 7.6 seconds left. Storm Murphy was the Hokies leading scorer with 20 points. Justyn Mutts had 16 points, and Nahiem Alleyne scored 14 points. For Pittsburgh, Femi Odukale scored a game-high 25 points, and Jamarius Burton added 21 points. Duke vs. North Carolina: The No. 9 Duke Blue Devils used hot shooting at the top of both halves as they put North Carolina away in Mike Krzyzewski's final trip to Chapel Hill, 87-67. AJ Griffin was on fire from the outside for Duke, scoring a game-high 27 points on 11-of-17 shooting, including 3-of-6 from three-point range. The Tar Heels put together a run to cut the halftime lead to 39-28, but Griffin opened the 2nd half with a personal 10-0 run to put the game basically out of reach. Paolo Banchero and Wendell Moore Jr. each scored 13 points in the win. Moore added 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals for the Blue Devils as well. Brady Manek did his best to keep the Tar Heels in the game. He finished with 21 points on 6-of-10 shooting from behind the arc in the loss. The Hurricanes shot 54.0% in the game, but they were outpaced by Virginia who made 60.0% of their field goal attempts, including going 8-15 for three-point range.
