At the 30 minute mark it looked like Shrewsbury had it in the bag, but a red card changed the game massively and opened the door for Oxford to come through and produce an amazing comeback. It finished Shrewsbury Town 2-3 Oxford United. The U's go up to 3rd in the league, buy boy they gave themselves a mountain to climb. Well Oxford got the win they were looking for, but boy oh boy did they labour to it. In the end the result is all that matters. Its ended Oxford United 2-1 Southend United. For large parts of the game Southend were better than us, but with quality in the side like Matty Taylor you always have the chance of nicking a tight game. The Posh are in amazing form, and once they took the lead they never looked back. Oxford have been competitive in most games this season, but were nowhere near Peterborough's level today.
