MY NEW PORTABLE AIRBAG SETUP IS INSANE - URBAN MTB FREERIDE
My new portable airbag setup is insane - Urban MTB freeride just got next level!! I ride my new mini airbag landing for the first time using my MTB hopper kicker ramp and my custom Haibike dirt jump bike, would you send it? The guys at MTB hopper kicker ramps have hooked me up with this not so mini portable airbag landing for my mountain bike which is actually the best thing ever, so today I get it unpacked and blow it up for its first test ride. This is a game changer in the world of urban MTB freeride because now we can make the spots even better out in crazy random locations all over the place! I decided to use my custom Haibike dirt jump bike for the day because it's the best bike for doing big tricks and jumps on. I start the video by opening the bag jump at home and blow it up in the front garden to reveal how big the jump really is and I was surprised at how tall it was! After checking it out and learning how to use we head into town and find a quiet spot to get the session started and get to work at building the kicker ramp and sorting out the airbag. As soon as the Airbag was inflated it was time to shred and it was the best thing to ride ever!! I hope you enjoy the video! DREAM RIDING SPOTS AND FULL SPEED SENDS IN LONDON - URBAN MTB FREERIDE
Dream riding spots and full speed sends in London - Urban MTB freeride is the best! Me and Tom Cardy find some sick freeride lines, stairs and jumps in the city on our mountain bikes, but which spot was the best? Me and Tom headed towards London with our Haibike mountain bikes in the hope of finding some sick new places to ride and we ended up coming across some awesome freeride spots. We start the video off in the Stratford Olympic park otherwise known as the Queen elizabeth park and this place was amazing with a huge selection of fun rideable features. The best spot was the huge stair set that was possible to double double which i've not done before and it felt amazing. From here we moved further into the heart of the city of London and found some more stairs to hit along the way. We then stopped off at a cool street spot that has been in many BMX videos. It is basically just a skatepark feature in the middle of a housing estate and works perfectly. After shredding here we then came across a dream riding spot which was a flatbank to wall that was possible to jump over, and it was perfectly made as if it was meant to be ridden! Me and Tom Cardy pulled off some pretty good tricks here before getting the bikes out and cruising around near the London Eye before the rain came down and ended the ride! Shot on GoPro HERO 8! SICK URBAN MTB FREERIDE SPOTS IN MORZINE - FRENCH ALPS
Sick urban MTB freeride spots in Morzine - French Alps are the best! I find some crazy street spots to ride and hit my kicker ramp on my jump bike and enduro mountain bike around this sick town! Would you hit those stairs? I'm out in Morzine, France for a few weeks of riding and chilling in these amazing town hidden in the French Alps. This place is a mecca for downhill mountain biking and MTB freeride so with lockdown finished I decided this was the place to be! In this video me and my friend Jordan Booker cruise around the town in search of fun stairsets of doom and crazy urban MTB spots. We start the day off on a huge metal stair set that we were able to race side by side down at full speed which looked amazing on the GoPro camera! From here we wheelied our way into town to a perfect fly out jump where I was able to pull off some sick tricks! After this we got to work at setting up the MTB Hopper portable ramp and I was eve able to backflip it which I was surprised about! After this Jordan got steezy before I chased him down another huge stairway which ended up next to the skatepark where I smashed out a few tricks! Whilst riding we came across a HUGE roof drop which was pretty painful on my hardtail dirt jump bike! The next spot caused a few crashes but was a perfect ending for the video! HEAVY URBAN MTB FREERIDE AND RIDING NEW BIKE PARK FEATURES!
Heavy urban MTB freeride and riding new bike park features! I ride some new urban freeride spots on my dirt jump bike before checking out the new jumps, trails and features at twisted oaks bike park! What do you prefer? I start the video with some bike maintenance and try to fit a new bottom bracket, that in the end didn't work, but after replacing my chain I head out in search of some new urban MTB freeride spots starting in Walton where I came across a perfect wall drop and small skatepark. After leaving due to the busy streets I came back to my home town in search of some more fun stuff to ride. After a few crashes and fails I eventually land a cool wheelie line before Tom Cardy calls me and invites me over to twisted oaks bike park in Suffolk! We ride some of the new bike park features and trails that they have recently made and had one of the best sessions i've had for a long time, We were all riding our Haibike electric bikes around the bike park and it was the dream. Not only did they have a few new jumps, they have also built a full new trail with sick northshore style skinnys and bridges. After running our batteries down I decided to blast back to Colchester to hit a huge drop that i've never hit before but have always looked at! The excitement levels obviously raised as the session went on so I also ended up finding some sick street lines to shred until the sun dropped behind the horizon! BUILDING MY NEW JUMP TRIAL HYBRID BIKE - THE ULTIMATE URBAN MTB
Building my new jump trial hybrid bike - Ultimate urban MTB! I modify my dirt jump bike into a do-everything urban MTB freeride machine. With new upgrades this jump trial hybrid is ready to shred, would you ride this bike? I received some brand new wheels from HALO which enabled me to get my plan moving of making my dirt jump bike into to a half trial bike half jump bike which would be perfect for urban MTB freeride missions! I start the video off by breaking my bike down and replacing all the parts with fresh new bike bits such as a new wheelset, different forks, new front brake and a 5 speed custom gear system. The new halo wheel comes with a small half sized cassette body for running those short gear setups, perfect for 4X or jump trial hybrids. After finishing the bike build I head out into the streets of my hometown to find some fun features to hit. The best thing about this bike is that I can ride both trial style features and faster jump bike hits to and I'm also way more comfortable with the positioning of this bike rather than the conventional trial bike I have. So after riding at the first spot we find a few more places to ride before sessioning at the local skatepark where I learn a new trick, and to finish off the video I head to the triple threat zone that had a huge drop and a fun stair set of doom! SICKEST MTB TRAIL IN ZURICH - GoPro
After 2 days of travelling we arrived in Zurich and rode the sickest mtb trail. This mountain bike dream is called the uetliberg trail and over looks the city of Zurich, Switzerland! From the top the views are incredible, over looking the lake and surrounding mountains. After taking in the views you can head into the woods to ride a seriously fun flow trail with jumps and berms, it was so much fun after driving for 2 days!!! It was also cool to get Tom Cardy on the EBIKE and show him how fun it can be to ride up with ease and blast down after!! It was fun to get the GoPro fusion out and have a little play as well as some fun mounts for the HERO 6!! Shot on GoPro.
