Watch extended highlights of Wolves’ 3-2 Carabao Cup victory against West Ham. Wolves led the tie at the break through a Rodrigo Gomes goal, but the visitors came from behind to go ahead through Tomas Soucek and Lucas Paqueta. However, two Jorgen Strand Larsen goals in the space of two minutes flipped the tie once more to secure a place in the third round of the competition for Vitor Pereira’s men.
Viktor Gyokores marked his home debut with a brace as we ran riot against Leeds United to make it two wins from two at the start of the Premier League campaign. We found ourselves 2-0 ahead at the break thanks to a Jurrien Timber header and Bukayo Saka’s injury-time strike which took the game away from the visitors, and not long after the restart Gyokeres showed his pace and power to get himself off the mark in style. Timber then added his second and our fourth of the afternoon as our set-piece prowess came to the fore again, before in stoppage-time 15-year-old debutant Max Dowman won a penalty which Gyokeres hammered home. Enjoy highlights, training, behind the scenes and documentaries to get closer to the likes of Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Alessia Russo, Leah Williamson, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Kim Little, Declan Rice, Beth Mead, Gabriel Martinelli, Ben White, Stina Blackstenius and more. This has been a rollicking series with plenty of action across the two matches in Darwin and the two teams arrive in Queensland for the series-decider with the assignment currently standing at 1-1. Iqbal Sports Live. Km Punk Live. Crictalks Live. Named after Australian rules football legend Roy Cazaly the Cazaly's Stadium is all set to host its maiden T20 international while this will be the first international game at the venue since September 2022. A Tim David power show rescued Australia in the series opener. David hammered away 83 runs off just 52 balls to lift the side to a challenging 178 from 75/6. Kwena Maphaka bagged 4/20 Kagiso Rabada finished with 2/29. Iqbal Sports. Km Punk. Senuran Muthusamy returned with an excellent 1/24 as these spells put the Aussies on the back foot for the majority of the innings. Still it didn't keep David under pressure as the big man went hammer and tongs. South Africa struggled in the run chase with Australia bowling tight lines and lengths. Ryan Rickelton scored a decent half-century but he was a bit too late to take the attack to the opposition as his 71 came off 55 balls. Crictalks. Tristan Stubbs supported the keeper-batter but in the end it was a bit too much to do for the visitors as the rest of the batting line-up collapsed big time. Josh Hazlewood and Ben Dwarshuis grabbed three wickets each while Adam Zampa and Glenn Maxwell kept the stranglehold on the Aiden Markram-led side and restricted it to 161/9 helping the Aussies to a 17-run win. The Proteas had to come back in the second T20I but at 57/3. One thought it was just another game that Australia would dominate. It wasn't the case this time. Dewald Brevis stepped up for the touring party playing a career-defining knock and scoring a breathtaking 125* off 56 balls and saw his side post a massive 218/7 after being put into bat first. Hazlewood and Zampa were extremely expensive while Maxwell Dwarshuis continued their good series with the ball and applied a bit of resistance from their end. Australia kept their attacking instinct once again with plenty of batters getting starts and throwing their wickets irrespective of the situation their team was in. David once again came to the rescue and scored a whirlwind half-century but time unlike the first T20I his catch wasn't put down. South Africa kept chipping away and ensured that scoreboard pressure brought about the hosts' downfall as Australia were bundled out for 165 losing the second game by 53 runs. Every bowler chipped in for the Proteas. Corbin Bosch and Maphaka snared three wickets each. Despite latter being expensive the left-arm seamer was effective with his wicket-taking ability. There are a couple of injury concerns Australia heading into the series finale. Matthew Short who was initially said to be missing the first two T20Is due a side injury picked up while training in West Indies hasn't fully recovered and has been ruled out of the series decider. Hardie who the squad as a cover continues to remain in the Aussie camp. Hardie could come straight playing XI as the hosts will miss dashing all-rounder Mitchell Owen's services. Owen was hit on the helmet in second T20I. He has shown delayed symptoms of concussion and as per the protocols the Tasmanian has to be rested for a minimum of 12 days. Josh Inglis who missed the previous game due to the flu is expected to be back in the XI replacing Carey. Iqbal Sports Live. Tim David stole the show with the bat scoring 83 off 52. Australia came out all guns blazing after being asked to bat first by the visitors. Travis Head struggled in his comeback game and perished for 2 off 7. Josh Inglis fell for a golden duck. Skipper Mitchell Marsh also fell cheaply scoring 13 off 7. Cam Green continued his rich form and scored 35 off just 13 balls. He added 40 runs with Tim David for the fourth wicket. After Green's wicket David carried on and smashed. Km Punk Live. The South African bowlers all over the park. He scored a scintillating half-century to take Australia to a sub-par total. Ben Dwarshius (17) and Nathan Ellis (12) chipped in with the bat down the order as well. Kwena Maphaka picked up four wickets for the Proteas. Kagiso Rabada bagged two while Lungi Ngidi George Linde. Crictalks Live. Km Punk. Senuran Muthusamy got one apiece. In reply the Proteas lost their skipper Aiden Markram early in the piece. Lhuan-dre Pretorius and Dewald Brevis both failed to get going. Tristan Stubbs stitched a fine partnership with Ryan Rickelton of 72 runs for the fourth wicket. Stubbs perished for 37 off 27. George Linde then bagged a duck. The lower middle-order was skittled out by Adam Zampa and Hazlewood. Hazlewood and Dwarshuis picked up three wickets each and leg-spinner Adam Zampa bagged two. Glenn Maxwell also chipped in with a wicket to restrict South Africa to 161/9 in 20 overs. Iqbal Sports. Can South Africa bounce back to keep the series alive? When the stakes are HIGH and the margins are THIN every ball is a battle. The 2nd T20I at TIO Stadium Darwin promises nothing less than a fierce duel as Australia look to seal the series after a hard-fought 17-run win in the opener. South Africa meanwhile are staring at a do-or-die situation where one wrong step and the series slips away. Expect no half-measures just an all-out contest where reputations will be tested under the Darwin lights. Australia’s first game was a mixed bag - explosive yet fragile. They stormed through the Powerplay with 71 runs but paid the price with early wickets. Tim David’s counterattacking 83 off 52 balls was the glue that held the innings. Together turning what could have been a modest score into a match-winning 178. Cameron Green’s 13-ball 35 was another spark but the middle order faltered. With the ball Josh Hazlewood and Ben Dwarshuis led the way with three wickets each ensuring that despite South Africa’s late resistance the target remained out of reach. live cricket match. For the Aussies consistency is the keyword as they’ve got the firepower but it’s about firing in sync. For South Africa the script in Darwin began with a wobble and ended with a sigh. Apart from Ryan Rickelton’s patient 71 Stubbs’ 37 the rest struggled to get going. The Powerplay cost them three key wickets leaving too much for the middle and lower order. The bowling had its bright spots especially Kwena Maphaka’s four-fer and Kagiso Rabada’s discipline but lapses in the middle overs allowed Australia to wrest control. In this second match they’ll need more partnerships better shot selection under pressure and sharper execution at the death both with bat and ball. The TIO Stadium pitch has already shown its dual nature where it is good for strokeplay if you survive the new ball but tricky enough to keep bowlers in the game.
