Daniel Stahl successfully defended his discus throw title with a final throw of 70.47 metres, while Nicola Olyslagers claimed her first outdoor title by clearing 2 metres. Lilian Odira stunned in the 800 metres, beating favourites and breaking a 42-year-old championship record.
