He started his career at Malmö FF. There he was spotted by scouts from Ajax Amsterdam. The striker conquered the Eredivisie and was sold to Juventus. After two seasons he changed club to another team playing in Serie A - Inter Milan. After 3 years he was bought by FC Barcelona but was quickly loaned out and then sold to Milan. In 2012 he was bought by PSG. Ibra became the top scorer of Ligue 1, scoring 113 goals in 122 games for Paris Saint-Germain. After 4 years in France, he decided to try his luck in the Premier League by moving to Manchester United. In 2018, he signed a contract in MLS with the LA Galaxy team. He became the biggest star in the American soccer league scoring 52 goals in 52 games for his team. It seemed that it would be in Los Angeles that Zlatan Ibrahimovic would end his career but at the age of 38 he still signed (another) contract with AC Milan. Today, the Swede is over 40 but still scores goals in Serie A and is the leading figure of his team. How much longer will Zlatan continue to play football at a professional level? Tomas Hertl was dominate tonight, winning 76.9% of his face-offs adding 2 goals and an assist to the score sheet. The Couture line with his two young Swede wingers Dahlen and Eklund also managed to produce a gritty goal that help give the Sharks a quick lead in the first. Ryan Merkley added a nifty first goal of his career and dazzled with his excellent stick work in the offensive zone. Mario Ferraro also showed off a booming shot for his first goal of the season capping of his career high 28:48 mins of ice time in a game. While the stats bore poorly for Reimer tonight he played anything but poorly, making key saves to keep the Sharks in the lead for most of the game.
