KL Rahul comeback to RCB possible? | CSK Sameer rizvi on fire | IPL 2025 Tamil #ipl #ipl2025 #auction KL Rahul seeks retention, LSG ready to play waiting game till retention rules are clarified IPL 2025 Mega Auction: What will Rahul do as Lucknow Super Giants ready to wait till BCCI lays down IPL 2025 Retention rules The KL Rahul and Lucknow Super Giants fiasco continues. Last night the current LSG skipper and owner Sanjiv Goenka did have a conversation. Now reports have emerged that KL Rahul wants to stay at the Lucknow based club. But on the other hand, LSG haven’t said anything about retaining KL Rahul. The IPL club will only take a decision once the BCCI informs them about the retention rules for IPL 2025 Mega Auction. Currently, KL Rahul is not a part of India’s T20I squad and wasn’t a part of the squad that won the ICC T20 World Cup in Barbados. Where will KL Rahul play in IPL 2025? “Yes, Rahul came to Kolkata and met Dr Goenka at RPG head office. He has clearly told Dr Goenka that he wants to be retained. However, till BCCI comes up with retention policy, LSG management wouldn’t want to chalk out their plans,” an IPL Governing Council member, privy to developments in LSG, told PTI on the condition of anonymity. “Look, Rahul wants retention but till LSG knows how many are to be retained and what’s the new purse, they can’t commit anyone,” the IPL source said. After the rift between KL Rahul and Sanjiv Goenka it was revealed that KL Rahul could be on a way out. Reports further emerged that he could be on his way to rejoin Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Now, despite the meeting, everything is stalled. Since, LSG are ready to play the waiting game, it remains to be seen what KL Rahul decides. City Of Troy cemented his superstar status when dazzling from the front in the Juddmonte International Stakes at York on Wednesday. All conquering at two, Aidan O’Brien’s son of Justify left 2000 Guineas disappointment in the past with redemption both in the Derby at Epsom and then when registering a battling success in the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown. With many far from wowed by his heroics in Esher, an all-star cast assembled to take him on in the Ebor Festival’s opening-day highlight. City Of Troy jumped out alertly in the hands of Ryan Moore, with the rider eager to make the most of his Classic-winning stamina. Royal Rhyme, City Of Troy’s stablemate Hans Andersen and Ghostwriter were in his immediate slipstream, with Japanese raider Durezza also close by, while those from further back were keen to work their way into contention swinging into the straight. The Aga Khan’s Calandagan burst out of the pack to lay down his challenge and continue Francis-Henri Graffard’s fine season, but as both the French raider and City Of Troy scorched clear of the field, the Royal Ascot winner was unable to reel in Ballydoyle’s star performer as he broke the course record previously held by Sea The Stars. City Of Troy crossed the line a length clear of Calandagan, with Clive Cox’s Ghostwriter claiming third, as the 5-4 favourite silenced any remaining doubters in scintillating style. “I’m obviously always saying too much about him and they are saying he smashed the course record there and it didn’t go according to plan,” said O’Brien. “Ryan decided to make the running on him and what an incredible ride he gave him. “I’m so delighted for the lads and we always felt he was something very different. Things haven’t gone right for him some days, but he still overcomes them which makes it very special. “He is a horse who loves to be up with the pace and a strong pace and he gets it really well. Everything he does, he stays, he is tough and we’re hoping the lads might go to the (Breeders’ Cup) Classic with him, that would be some dream. “He has natural pace out the stalls like Giant’s Causeway had but quicker. What happened in the Guineas frightened us and we didn’t want to do that any more, we wanted to drop him in and teach him to relax and do all the right things. “He did it with Ryan unplanned today, so it was in there wanting to come out. It was incredible what he did there and the last half of the race, what he was doing was incredible, I thought he went through the line really strong. “He is the best I have trained and we thought that as a two-year-old, we always thought that. He is the most special horse we’ve ever had. We went off the road the first run this year and right into the swamp, but for him to come out of it and to get to where he is today is incredible.” #horseracing #horse #horses Must-see compilations and best bits ➡️ http://y2u.be/Kfl2CXtG6xA Greatest Hits! Mercedes’ delight at a surprise 1-2 at the Belgian Grand Prix quickly turned to anguish after George Russell was disqualified from a hard-fought win. Mercedes winning a Formula 1 race is no longer the absurd fantasy it was a few months ago but its initial one-two in Spa was still unexpected. The shock value of that was quickly surpassed when the stewards threw winner Russell out of the race just hours after the flag, ensuring team-mate Lewis Hamilton won after all. We explain where Mercedes' pace came from and why Russell was disqualified. 0:00 Two big surprises 0:40 What doomed Russell 3:37 Russell's ludicrous strategy 4:59 McLaren falls just short 6:22 Red Bull's stalled victory bid 8:08 Leclerc was overachieving READ MORE HERE: https://www.the-race.com/formula-1/george-russell-doomed-outlier-belgian-gp-mark-hughes/ Subscribe: http://the-race.com/youtube_subscribe Website: http://the-race.com/ Twitter: @wearetherace Instagram: @wearetherace Facebook: http://facebook.com/wearetherace Podcasts: http://the-race.com/podcasts Thanks for watching - please like, share and comment, please also hit subscribe to show your support so we'll keep doing what we're doing. https://www.the-race.com http://www.twitter.com/wearetherace #F1 #Formula 1#FormulaOne #F12024 #F1BelgianGrandPrix #BelgianGrandPrix #F1BelgianGP #GeorgeRussell #Russell #mercedes #LewisHamilton #Hamilton #f1news #formula1driver #totowolff #f1dsq #russelldisqualified

The Red Sox dropped their 4th straight game with a disappointing 9-8, 12-inning loss the Colorado Rockies Monday night at Coors Field. Ezequiel Tovar knocked in the winning run in the bottom of the 12th with a bases loaded single off of Chase Anderson. The Rockies scored 2 runs in the 12th after the Red Sox took the lead in the top of the inning on a 2-out RBI single off the bat of Wilyer Abreu. Red Sox came from behind twice in the game and didn't take their 1st lead of the game until the top of the 10th inning. Tanner Houck made the start and gave up 4 runs (4 ER) in the 3rd inning, but that was it. Charlie Blackmon hit a 2-run Home Run to get the Rockies on the board and 5 straight hitters reached and 4 runs scored before Houck was able to record an out. The Red Sox got all 4 runs back against Austin Gomber in the 5th inning. Jamie Westbrook got the Red Sox to within a run with a 3-run Home Run. Jarren Duran followed with a triple, his 11th on the year and first since June 9th against the White Sox, and he scored on an RBI single from Rob Refsnyder. All four runs in the inning came with two outs against Gomber. Houck got a strike 'em out/throw 'em out double play to end the 5th inning. He worked around a double and a walk in the 6th and left with the game tied at 4-4. Houck gave up 10 hits total and 4 earned runs. He walked 3 and struck out 2. Josh Winckowski was the first out of the bullpen and he gave up a run in the 7th to put the Rockies in front, 5-4. Jacob Stallings broke the tie with a 2-out, RBI 2B to right. Red Sox answered right back and tied the game up for a second time on the night with Connor Wong going the opposite way with his 9th Home Run of the season and that evened the game at 5-5. Sox had runners at 1st and 2nd with one out, but Romy Gonzalez hit into an inning-ending double play. Cam Booser worked a 1-2-3 8th inning and kept the game even at 5-5. Zack Kelly got the bottom of the 9th and like Booser, he retired the Rockies in order. Red Sox took their first lead of the game in the top of the 10th. Jarren Duran started the inning at 2nd-base, and he scored on Dominic Smith's RBI Double. Sox weren't done and added a 2nd run on a Sacrifice Fly from Rafael Devers. Kelly got the 10th inning and appeared to balk on purpose before throwing a pitch and that allowed the runner at second to move to 3rd. After getting the first out, Kelly gave up a game-tying 2-run Home Run to Sam Hilliard. Red Sox stranded Tyler O'Neill at 3rd and failed to score in the top of the 11th. Greg Weissert stranded the potential winning run at 3rd in the bottom of the 11th. Ceddanne Rafaela made a great diving play up the middle and got Brenton Doyle at 1st for the 2nd out in the inning. After an intentional walk, Weissert came back and got Brendan Rogers on a ground out to Rafaela at short and that sent the game to the 12th. Alex Cora was ejected by home plate umpire Mark Wegner before the top of the 12th got underway. It was his 2nd of the season. Sox got a little 2-out magic in the 12th and went in front, 8-7, on Abreu's go-ahead run-scoring single. Locked On Red Sox POSTCAST Notes- Sox have lost 4 in a row for the 3rd time this season. Duran has hit safely in 6 in a row and has at least 1 extra-base hit in all 6 games. Tyler O'Neill had a 3-hit game. It's his 3rd in the month of July and 5th of the season.
