The tourists failed to play the entire 50 overs, but they hammered 329 before getting bundled with a ball remaining. Debutant Kwena Maphaka and Marco Jansen were taken to the cleaners, and they shared 7 wickets in the process. Bjorn Fortuin bowled a decent spell and grabbed a wicket, as did Andile Phehlukwayo. Fortuin walked off the field after finishing his bowling quota due to some hamstring concerns but did come to bat later in the game.
