Chuma Okeke scored 8 points in the first three minutes, and Mario Hezonja netted 9 fast points to make it 25-29 at the end of a high-scoring opening frame. A flurry of baskets from Sylvain Francisco sent Zalgiris ahead, and several lead changes ensued before consecutive Sergio Llull triples gave Real a 53-55 interval lead. Defenses dominated in the third quarter, which finished with the visitors in front, 68-72. The fourth quarter stayed close with more lead changes until Zalgiris edged ahead in the final stages and won it through Francisco’s free throws with 3.9 seconds left. Francisco was again the hero for Zalgiris as he combined 20 points with 5 assists, supported by former Real playmaker Nigel Williams-Goss with a double-double of 11 points and 10 assists, while Moses Wright patrolled the paint to the tune of 16 points, and Azoulas Tubelis had 8 points with 9 rebounds. Hezonja led Real with 18 points but missed an attempted game-winning three on the final buzzer, and Walter Tavares also recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Zalgiris improves to 18-14, while Real drops to 20-11 as a five-game winning run ends.
