Detroit Pistons unravel in Game 4 loss as Jalen Duren’s struggles mount—can Detroit bounce back in a must-win showdown? Host Ku Khahil spotlights the Pistons’ issues after being dominated by the Cleveland Cavaliers, from a disastrous third quarter and baffling free-throw discrepancies to unexpectedly poor showings by key players like Cade Cunningham and Ausar Thompson. With Duren’s disappearing act on the boards and persistent turnover woes, the episode questions the coaching decisions that keep Paul Reed on the bench despite his impact. Critical insights include the Pistons’ need to limit turnovers, the unsustainable reliance on perimeter defense, and why Game 5 is now a do-or-die for Detroit’s playoff hopes. Ku Khahil also examines whether stars like Cunningham and Thompson can bounce back and if adjustments in the rotation could rescue the series against the surging Cavaliers. Is this a turning point or the end of Detroit’s postseason run? Everydayer ClubIf you never miss an episode, it’s time to make it official. After an uneven start to the 2026 season, Andrew Abbott is beginning to look like the pitcher who earned All-Star recognition a year ago. The left-hander continued his resurgence Sunday against the Houston Astros, firing six scoreless innings in the Cincinnati Reds’ 5-0 win at Great American Ball Park. Abbott allowed only three hits, walked one, and struck out five, including multiple punchouts of Yordan Alvarez, while never allowing a Houston runner to reach scoring position. Call (513) 655-3356 or visit qckinetix.com The outing pushed Abbott’s scoreless innings streak to 16.2 innings, a dominant stretch that has completely changed the tone around his season. Just a couple weeks ago, his ERA sat north of five and questions lingered about whether he could rediscover the command and confidence that made him one of Cincinnati’s most dependable starters in 2025. Now, Abbott looks composed again, locating his fastball on the corners and mixing his breaking pitches effectively to keep hitters off balance. What stands out most during this run is efficiency. Abbott needed only 85 pitches to complete six innings against Houston, and he retired nine consecutive batters during one stretch of the game. The Astros, despite featuring dangerous bats like Alvarez and Jose Altuve, never generated sustained pressure. For the Reds, Abbott’s resurgence could not come at a better time. Cincinnati has battled inconsistency early this season, but strong starting pitching remains the club’s clearest path back into the National League Central race. If Abbott continues to resemble the pitcher who broke onto the scene with historic scoreless streaks as a rookie in 2023, the Reds rotation suddenly becomes a major strength again. The NBA offseason is heating up and the rumors are swirling around a potential Anthony Davis to the Celtics deal. With the Washington Wizards winning the draft lottery and securing the number one pick to rebuild their young core the veteran star Anthony Davis is suddenly looking for a new home. This massive shift in the Washington timeline has Boston fans wondering if Brad Stevens will finally make the blockbuster move that Danny Ainge tried to execute years ago. However executing an Anthony Davis to the Celtics transaction comes with massive salary cap hurdles that could destroy the current roster depth. Because Davis has a massive contract exceeding fifty eight million dollars Boston would likely have to sacrifice Jaylen Brown or a massive package including Derrick White and Sam Hauser and Payton Pritchard just to make the math work. Giving up reliable perimeter depth and core pieces for an aging and injury prone big man with a massive player option could be a huge mistake for a team trying to stay in championship contention. The only safe pathway for an Anthony Davis to the Celtics acquisition involves extremely complicated salary cap gymnastics using traded player exceptions and expiring contracts. Without that perfect scenario Boston should steer clear of this massive gamble and focus on safer ways to upgrade their frontcourt rotation. Watch the full video to see the exact trade math and why a panic move could ruin the future of the franchise.
