This is where Bangladesh lost the plot as they ended up conceding a massive 254-run lead to India. On Thursday hosts Bangladesh will take on India in the final Test of the two-match series in Dhaka. This is a must-win game for Bangladesh as a loss will hand them a series defeat. India suffered a massive blow with Rohit Sharma being ruled out of the Test due to thumb injury. However the likes of Shubman Gill Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli are pretty much capable of guiding the visitors with their stoic batsmanship. Their bowling was clinical in the first Test as the spinners especially Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel wreaked havoc in the Tigers' camp dismissing them twice in the game. Ravichandran Ashwin's failure with the ball was surprising so he would like to get some wickets under his belt in this game. Pujara paced his innings quite well as the declaration was looming and got close to his own century eventually getting there in 130 deliveries his quickest in Tests so far and coming after a gap of almost 3 years and 51 innings. Virat Kohli finished unbeaten Pujara at 19 when the declaration was imposed. The Bangladeshi opening pair of Najmul Hossain Shanto (25*) and debutant Zakir Hasan (17*) have got a good and cautious start seeing off 12 overs from the Indian bowling attack.
