The A’s are officially one quarter into the 2026 season, and somehow baseball has turned into absolute comedy. Same exact record as this point last year… except this time the A’s are sitting in first place. That’s right. Same wins. Same losses. Completely different vibe. Baseball is a weird sport, man. Rob and Stud break down what’s real, what’s fool’s gold, and whether this team is actually built to survive the summer grind. From the offense heating up to the rollercoaster pitching staff, it’s time for a full quarter-point inspection while the rest of baseball still acts shocked the A’s didn’t vanish into thin air. Then it’s time to talk about the name everybody’s buzzing about: Henry Bolte. The electric call-up brings speed, swagger, chaos, and maybe a little bit of “hold onto your seat” energy to this roster. Rob and Stud dive into what Bolte changes immediately, what expectations should realistically be, and why this upcoming homestand against the St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco Giants could say a lot about where this season is headed. First place baseball in May? Nobody saw this coming outside the sickos watching every inning. Brand new All On Green goes LIVE at 4:30 on YouTube. Could a 24-team College Football Playoff completely change the future of the new PAC-12? In this episode of Pac-12 Daily, Christian Rauh breaks down the growing momentum behind College Football Playoff expansion and why the proposed format could either elevate or hurt conferences outside the Power Four. The discussion dives into the American Football Coaches Association’s support for major postseason changes, including expanding the CFP field, eliminating conference championship games, and restructuring the college football calendar. The episode explores what those changes could mean for programs like Washington State, Boise State, Oregon State, San Diego State, and the rest of the rebuilt PAC-12 conference. Would a larger playoff actually create more access for Group of Six schools, or would it simply give the SEC and Big Ten more spots? The show examines strength of schedule concerns, nonconference scheduling strategy, CFP resume building, and why Washington State’s brutal 2026 schedule could become the blueprint for future playoff contention. Topics include: 24-team College Football Playoff expansion PAC-12 playoff chances in the new era Washington State football scheduling strategy Boise State and San Diego State CFP outlook SEC and Big Ten influence on playoff expansion Group of Six access concerns College football conference championship debate PAC-12 national relevance in 2026 and beyond Subscribe to Pac-12 Daily for daily coverage, analysis, recruiting discussion, conference news, and the future of the new PAC-12 Conference. Victor Wembanyama will face no further punishment from the NBA after savagely elbowing his rival during the San Antonio Spurs' playoff game on Sunday night. The NBA Defensive Player of the Year was whistled for an offensive foul after striking Naz Reid of the Minnesota Timberwolves in the neck with his elbow. Reid had swarmed the Frenchman outside the paint after the 7-foot-4 center rebounded a missed 3-pointer by the Spurs, before lashing out and being ejected. After review of the play, with the fans at Target Center chanting, 'Kick him out! Kick him out!,' the foul was upgraded to a Flagrant 2 for excessive contact above the neck. There had been fears that Wembanyama could have been suspended over the matter, which would have served as a major blow to the Spurs' playoff hopes. However, on Monday morning it was confirmed that Wembanyama will receive no further punishment over the matter and will be eligible for Game 5 on Tuesday night. #wemby #victorwembanyama #spurs #timberwolves #basketball
