The brains of the operation. In 2020, it was an all-French affair as Antoine Dupont and Romain Ntamack ran the dream team show. Will they repeat the feat in 2021, or is there a different duo in town?
Maybe the most anticipated match of the year lived up to the hype as France, powered by an inspired Romain Ntamack and Antoine Dupont, smashed the All Blacks in a heroic, destructive display that made every rugby fan stand up in excitement and joy. So, how did they put New Zealand to bed? What a game that was from France where everything clicked for them. You could see they were going to show up just by watching their anthem, it just showed so much passion from the crowd and I definitely think the energy of the crowd helped them. Then there was Antoine Dupont, Romain Ntamack and Gaël Fickou. They were so good in the game and played a massive role in the victory. Antoine is just cementing the fact that he's the sure favorite to win the Player of The Year Award, he's just so mature despite being so young. He's made for big games. Gaël Fickou is also someone I've always been a fan off, it feels like he's played forever but he's just 27 years old. That just speaks volume of his maturity, it kind off reminds of Eben where he feels a lot more experienced then his age would suggest. His defensive work is just amazing, he's very smart and knows where to be. Romain Ntamack, also had a brilliant game, it was just his night and everything was slow for him and it felt like he had so much time to make decisions and react to a very tense game. The confidence he has to run out of his own goaline and create an attacking opportunity from nothing, speaks volumes of his talent. One thing is for certain, this France team is going to be difficult to stop in the World Cup, they're talented and they play with a lot of physicality. And there crowd is simply amazing!.
