PSG's first Ligue 1 match without Messi, Neymar und Ramos taking 3:0 first half lead against RC Strasbourg. The top French football club Paris St. Germain will face Racing Strasbourg on Saturday evening (9 p.m. / DAZN) not only without the newly signed Argentine superstar Lionel Messi and ex-Real captain Sergio Ramos, Brazil's exceptional talent Neymar will also be missing. The trio is not in the PSG squad for the Ligue 1 game. Coach Mauricio Pochettino had announced that Messi would not appear until the end of August. Ramos, who still suffers from calf problems, should not appear for the French capital club until the beginning of September. Neymar should also be given a longer preparation time after the Copa America. LATEST NEWS: PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino (49) had to put the brakes on fans' hopes on Friday for the time being. In a press conference before the home game against Racing Strasbourg, the Argentine coach said: "We will take it step by step to get to know each other better and so that he will be able to make his debut when he is completely fit." So the fans have to wait a little longer until the six-time world footballer enters the field for the reigning runner-up for the first time. According to Pochettino, Messi won't appear until the end of August. The Prinzenpark Stadium in Paris currently has 48,500 seats. In the season before Corona, the average was 46,911 - especially the expensive seats (200-300 euros per game) remained empty. That should change now! Messi is the new attraction in the French capital! With him, the club owners are betting on a completely sold out house. And are driving forward plans to expand the Prinzenpark to up to 60,000 spaces. In addition to Messi, new signing Sergio Ramos (35) will also miss the start of the French Ligue 1. The central defender and ex-captain of Spain's record champions Real Madrid continues to cure an injury to his calf. In addition, offensive star Neymar (29), captain Marquinhos (27), European champion Verratti (28) and Ángel Di María () against Strasbourg are probably missing. The regulars were all recently active with the national teams and recently returned to training. Paris Saint-Germain Football Club (PSG) is the most popular football club in France and one of the most widely supported teams in the world. Famous PSG fans include Nicolas Sarkozy, Tony Parker, Tom Brady, Patrick Dempsey, Victoria Azarenka, Teddy Riner and DJ Snake. Lacking a big passionate fanbase, the club began offering cheaper season tickets to young supporters in 1976. These fans were placed in the Kop K, located in the K section of the Paris stand at the Parc des Princes. Following an increase in ticket prices, Kop K supporters moved to the Boulogne stand in 1978, and the Kop of Boulogne (KoB) was born. There, the club's first Italian-style ultra group, Boulogne Boys, was founded in 1985. Other KoB groups, however, took British hooligans as dubious role models and violence rapidly escalated. PSG supporters' groups have been linked to football hooliganism ever since. PSG Ultras: PSG owners Canal+ responded in 1991 by encouraging and financing non-violent fans of the KoB stand to take place in the Auteuil stand at the other end of the Parc des Princes. The Virage Auteuil was born, alongside Supras Auteuil, its most notorious ultras. At first the measure worked but, slowly, a violent rivalry arose between the two stands. Things came to a head in 2010 before a match against Olympique de Marseille in Paris. Boulogne fan Yann Lorence was killed following a fight between groups from both stands outside the Parc des Princes, forcing PSG president Robin Leproux to take action. In October 2016, after a six-year absence, the club agreed to their return. Grouped in the Auteuil end of the stadium, the CUP currently is the only ultra association officially recognized by PSG. The ultra movement has also started to come back to life in the Boulogne stand. New groups Block Parisii, Paname Rebirth and Résistance Parisienne are trying to convince the club of relaunching the Kop of Boulogne. FAQ: Q: What's your favorite animal? A: Bears. Here is a short video of my recent adventure to the Brentford Community Stadium, to watch Brentford play a friendly against the notoriously tricky Spanish outfit, Valencia. Apart from some downtime while a sub was being made, there is no footage from during the match, as that sort of thing is usually 'owned' by someone these days! The video starts with a quick look at what is left of Griffin Park. Apart from some of the framework in New Road, only the shell of the Braemar Road stand remains. It was then on to the new stadium for a jolly good soaking and to enjoy the match. It all felt more homely, and more Brentford, than I was anticipating. A lot of noise can be generated, and the front rows are close to the action, so I expect there will be a great atmosphere in the stadium when competitive football returns. Enjoy!

Shannon Sharpe and Nick Wright are probably the most notorious LeBron James defenders. The two analysts never hesitate to make a case for the King against Michael Jordan in the never-ending GOAT debate. These conversations have become more common in recent years, but prior to that, these two were on the other side of the street, picking His Airness as the greatest to ever do it over any other player in league history. In the aftermath of Sharpe claiming Kobe Bryant isn't a top-5 NBA player, fans dug deep in his Twitter to find that not only he was very fond of Kobe but Jordan, too, labeling him the greatest baller of all time. #nickwright #shannonsharpe #undisputed
