Now the Giants head into a huge rubber match tomorrow, and if there’s ever been a must-win this early in the season, this feels like one. San Francisco begins a brutal 10-game road trip on Monday with four games in Los Angeles against the Dodgers, followed by three in Sacramento against the A’s, and then three in Arizona against the Diamondbacks. This upcoming stretch could bury the Giants early if they don’t turn things around fast. The team also looked emotionally flat after the Patrick Bailey trade to Cleveland earlier today. Right now, the Giants simply do not look like a talented or athletic baseball team when compared to the better clubs around the league.
