ATK wins 3rd ISL title as Chennaiyin FC falters in ISL final.
Despite all Cricketing qctoons cancelled in India, due do Corona virus threat, our Sports11 analyst Lawrence Jeba shifts focus towards football action as the Indian Super League ended up in grand style. Beating 2 time champions Chennaiyin FC 3 - 1 at Goa, ATK clinched their 3rd ISL title. ATak stayed very on top right from the tournament and at onecstage rhwy were table toppers before FC Goa overtook them in the league pointa table. Whereas Chennaiyin FC started steadily abs kicked off in middle part of the tournament. Their stunning performance of scoring 9 goals vs Kerala Blasters was a new ISL record. Even n the semi finals Chennaiyin FC rained goals to kick table toppers FC Goa out of the tournament and ATK beat Bengaluru in the other semi finals..in the finals too Chennaiyin FC started in a positive note with a goal early. But, ATK had other plans. They too gave tough fight. In the process, they have to lose the top scorer of the tournament, forward attacker Roy Krishna, while chasing a long ball from john Johnson and trying to pass over to Javi. Then, Nandi Soza and David Williams took over the mantle and started the assault over Chennaiyin FC and equalled them one all. Then In the 2nd half, Chennaiyin FC's defence was all over the place and also missed several scoring opportunities too. As ATK's continued the domination and piled on the agony with 2 more goals and Chennaiyin FC couldn't recover from that all the way. Thecend result was a 3 - 1 won, which was exactly the same margin where Chennaiyin FC beat ATK in the league game at Kolkata. The final results ended up as a perfect revenge to the loss in the league stages. Congratulations to ATK for their 3rd ISL title, on behalf of Sports11.

Persib Kembali Diperkuat Ezechiel N’Douassel,Saat pertemuan pertama di Bandung, penyerang jangkung ini absen karena ibunya di Chad meninggal dunia. Laga itu akhirnya berakhir dengan skor 1-1. “Sama saja kekuatan Persib nandi saat main di Malang. Yang jelas kami akan berusaha menang untuk lolos,” kata mantan bek Mitra Kukar ini, Rabu (20/2/2019). Meski demikian, secara teknis sebenarnya Arthur mendapat lawan lebih berat saat pertemuan kedua nanti. Sebelumnya dia mengawal pemain seperti Mukhlis Hadi yang masuk babak kedua sebagai striker murni. “Penting bagi saya untuk tetap menjaga konsentrasi pertandingan nanti. Yang jelas semua evaluasi dan persiapan sudah diberikan oleh pelatih,” tegasnya. Pelatih Arema, Milomir Seslija, mengakui tidak melihat pemain Persib secara individu. Meski kini ada Ezechiel, Arema tetap harus mengantisipasi pemain lain yang justru sering mengalirkan bola ke depan. “Sepak bola ini permainan tim. Bukan individu. Saya percaya dengan pemain Arema. Kalau Persib ada Ezechiel, saya punya stoper terbaik juga di Indonesia. Hamka Hamzah dan Arthur Cunha,” tegas pelatih asal Bosnia ini. Dalam lawatan ke Malang, Persib membawa 19 pemain. Saat Ezechiel sudah gabung, justru mereka kehilangan pemain sayap Esteban Vizcarra karena cedera di tangannya. Absennya Vizcarra jadi kehilangan bagi Persib. Pemain naturalisasi itu punya tehnik tinggi dan juga berstatus mantan pemain Arema FC.

Nandi governor Sang & senator Cheralgei pledge to back DP Ruto’s presidential bid
Leaders from Nandi County led by Governor Stephen Sang and Senator Samson Cheralgei have said that they will keep on supporting Deputy President William Ruto’s ambition of becoming the President of Kenya come 2022. Senator Cheralgei said he hoped the hand shake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was to bring peace and unity in the country and not a calculated move to stop Ruto from becoming the President of Kenya in 2022. They were speaking at Cherondo Primary School in Tinderet Constituency in Nandi County, where they had gone visit the land slide victims.
